Terrible experience. The lady was extremely nasty once I told her I wanted a regular pedicure from the start. Did the pedicure in 10 mins without cutting cuticles or anything. Once she got to painting was very sloppy. Did not fully removed old white polish and when I said it was messy continued to apply layers (4 layers) then got mad and removed the polish while ripping the paper from between my toes. I only tried this place bc I had received a massages three stores down. Very half ass job. Painted again and just slapped the paint on. Wished I had read the reviews. I had my first dipping powder manicure in Arizona, cost $30. It lasted a month. I stopped at Bella Nails because I was in the neighborhood and asked about dipping powder manicure; was told price was $30. OK sounds reasonable. I take a chair to start the manicure and price jumped to $40 for "good dipping powder" (bait and switch...my antenna should have gone up then). I opted for $30 job. Bad choice; I had to return the next day because several of the nails cracked and peeled. (Mind you, it had been less than 24 hours) I spoke with the lady with long hair who sits in front who appeared to be in charge. She told me I should have gotten the $40 job. She redid nails on both hands. Well, it is now 3 days later and more cracking and peeling. Time, energy and money wasted. They don't even deserve one star. Heed these reviews and stay away. I have been coming here on and off for about 5 years. I usually just get a manicure and pedicure and it's okay but yesterday I wanted a powder gel manicure and it was horrible. I was assured by the owner that they do powder but no one seemed to know who was going to do it, that should have been my first clue. When they finally settled on someone it started out okay until it came to the powder. She dipped one finger several times instead of each finger once and then repeat and when I addressed it she said "it's okay I will file down". My nails were never allowed to dry properly so she had to keep redoing them I am now visible upset and after 2 hours and $40 was told to come back and the owner will fix it. Never again!!! read more

The first time I got my nails done here, it was really fabulous! I loved the environment because it was so organized and CLEAN! What I really disliked was that after a few days my nails would chip! Went there today for the first and last time! I took my wife and our good friend (i was treating both). The woman ask what type of pedicure did we want, I ask for a menu of services and they did not have one however they kept saying "get the spa one" I asked what did this entail and the woman assured me I would enjoy it stating "we remove all the dead skin and give you a 10 minute massage". I asked my wife and friend what kind of pedicure did they want and the manicurist starts yelling "get the spa pedicure" "she's paying for it". WTF! Who does that it's like telling someone to get the lobster because someone else is "paying for it" (how tacky). We each ordered the "spa pedicure" and we all walked away with rough heels and pointing out what one got and the other did not. When I went to pay the bill I noticed a sign that said "tips cannot be paid with a credit card" I told the cashier that I did not have cash and she said as she gave me a heavy sigh "well since you don't have any cash" "I will let you put it on you card this one time" ummm this is 2018 must people don't carry cash. I really like this salon. They always have availability, and everyone there is friendly. I have gotten really nice pedicures, and also regular and gel manicures. This pic is of a gel manicure I got 2 weeks ago before I gave birth to my daughter that is *still* in near perfect condition, even after lots of hand washing and washing bottles 24/7! I see a lot of people complaining on here, and it seems most of them wanted more complex work done. I don't know if this is the place for that, but as far as regular or gel manis/pedis, it's amazing! I have been going to Bella Nail and Spa for almost 7 years. The salon is so clean which is why I keep going back, but the service and quality have gone so far down it's not even funny. The salon is usually empty now a days and it used to be packed. Here is why-attached see a picture of a vinylux manicure that I was charged $15. Nails are streaky and when the technician began applying the polish I told her to stop and I would pick another color but she insisted! I left with nails I could have painted better myself. She also cut my cuticles badly in several places and left it looking a haggard mess. My sister in law, who has petite toe nails got a pedicure and the technician didn't even bother to try and paint her pinky toe and sis ended up having to do it herself! Bella Nails has been my go-to nail salon for years and I have always received good mani/pedis for their prices. However, I recently went there for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and they gave me a $60 bill. A $25 gel manicure was bumped up to $35 and a regular pedicure is now $25. After questioning the owner, she simply said that all prices went up and I was stunned that what used to be a $45 mani/pedi was increased over 25%. I understand the need to make up for lost time after the covid shutdown, but $60 for the services I received seems a little like highway robbery to me. Went in today for the usual mani/pedi! So excited, since I have not be able to get to the nail salon in a while & could not wait to treat myself & relax! HUGE MISTAKE GOING BACK HERE! To which then I again said with an attitude what I wanted! On to the pedicure part, it was completely rushed! She did not even cut my cuticles! Chopped my toe nails down to nothing, burned me with steaming hot water! And no massage! Just threw lotion on my legs and pulled my pants down! Whole thing, took maybe 10 mins... Not relaxing at all especially when she kept yelling at me for not picking a polish, when I did and I handed it to her when I first sat down. Oh and the best part! She did not like the one I chose, so she went a picked a color on her own.. And kept telling me it was much prettier! At that point I had given up any fight! Manicure- I tell her only to file my nails, in which she grabs the nail clipper to cut them! So I pulled my hand out of hers and said "NO! Only file"... Then she goes to only soak my one hand for 2.5 seconds.. Doesnt soak the other and starts cutting my cuticles as they are dry! And only does the side of my nails.. Tells me how she refuses to cut my cuticles and the bottom of my fingers cause itll make them "rough". Well excuse me, that I am the one paying and I want done what I am paying for! So I made her cut them and she was clearly angry for doing "extra work".. That she cut me.. SEVERAL FINGERS HAD CUTS! And they all look horrible!! All said and done, mani was about 5 mins! I used to come to Bella for waxing and mani/pedi services. I found that many of their great employees would leave after a short time. I never understood why the people who work there either looked miserable or scared. I started putting the pieces together when I noticed that most times my mani/pedi was being rushed and the person working on me continued to look at the owner/manager and run around (literally) trying to finish to get to the next person. My thought is that they were trying to get as many customers/services in as possible. I think their motto became quantity over quality. So with that said, I haven't returned. They are slightly more expensive than other salons and I never used to mind because they would ensure great service. However, I cannot see paying more for less. read more

I have never felt so rushed in my life, particularly at a beauty salon where you are supposed to feel relaxed! The moment you come in, they ask you to pick a color. I knew what color I wanted so it was not a problem for me, but I heard another customer complaining and saying: "Please stop rushing me; I don't like to be rushed". Anyway, being efficient is one thing, but when the speed and being hasty affects the quality of the work performed, there is an issue. The girl who was doing my manicure and pedicure was in so much hurry that she was not being careful. The file was going all over my fingers and toes and it really hurt. When she used a nail clipper, she clipped me twice (in one spot and it actually started to bleed). At that point I told her she hurt me.
