I went in for a gel fill-in. I had my nails filled down to a medium length. When I arrived to this salon, I had XL brand new acrylic nails with designs on every finger. While at this salon, one of my nails had a crack so they told me I needed another new acrylic. In the process of doing my nails, the tech broke another one of my tips and I had to get a second. I got one design on both my middle fingers. The way they fill the nails here is with some kind of sculpted gel that burns your nails so harshly. My friend and I could barely sit through it because it hurt so badly. The nails that were replaced were crooked and had to be redone several times because it kept being put on crooked. It was a pain for my nail beds to be damaged by putting them off then on then off. The colors they have in the books were out of stock, so I had to change my color choice several times because they didn't have them available. At the end of my service, they said it was over a hundred dollars- for a gel FILL! When I asked for a breakdown of the price, they changed the price and opted to give me one of the tips (which the tech broke) for free. They said that they charge an obscene number for designs (I think 8 or 9 dollars) per nail- which I got two. Which even with the upcharge, it shouldn't have costed that much money. I've never seen prices that high for a few little gems. I have gotten my nails done all over the country and this is the most expensive fill I've ever received in my life. Within days of leaving, the nails that they replaced fell off in my sleep (?). I could understand if the craftsmanship reflected the price, but it did not at all. I got a simple design on two fingers. Every other nail was plain. I left with crooked nails, all different shapes, that literally started falling off my hands days later. All in all, save your money and time and go to a different salon. You will be spared the pain and stress from this salon.

The salon is dark and dingy, and just does not seem clean. The instruments were all thrown in a metal dish with no sanitary wrappers. It looks like they are used and re-used on every client without being sterilized. In this age, with so many transmissible diseases, that's an outright disgrace. The pad where you place your hands was stained and dirty-looking. The manicurist placed a paper towel over the stains. The emery board was old and nasty looking, as was the little finishing sponge. As far as the manicure itself, my cuticles were not soaked in warm water, and they were not pushed back properly or managed, so the polish starts FAR from the base of the nails. It looks like I had this manicure done a week ago, and the nails have grown forward. Also, some of the nails were filed round, while others were filed square. It was $17 for a plain manicure. I gave the woman a $5 tip - only because I am a generous tipper, and I thought the remainder of the manicure would improve. It did not. There was no neck massage, no thank you, no goodbye - nothing. That's a wrap for me - never again!
