04/21 I came to Palmer Nails after being so disgusted with my nails and showing up to events trying to hide my hands so that they weren't seen. I wanted a mani and Pedi but the we only had time for the mani. When I say we, I am saying the tech had an appointment coming in at 4:30 and I had to get somewhere at 4:30. So the Pedi is on hold. The tech really took good care me. My nails were raggedy, Long, half broken, edges sharp like a razor, I just had to get it done. No more procrastination. The place was quiet just one other customer and I. The tech was so professional and really good, I found my self nodding a couple times. I didn't get a clear coat, no frills or fluff. It was so relaxing in there , the soft music was a bonus. I came here once before in 2005 or so but I know they've been around for well over 23 years. They do a really good job and they are very welcoming. I will be coming back for the pedi. Many reasons to.... Inspire more, Yelp more! read more

Have come here for years. they are nice but completely inconsistent quality. One time a manicure lasts a week, next time it peels off 36 hrs later and you say "oh yea, they were busy (and clearly cut corners). Last week a great French manicure. This week "oh sure we have time to do mani pedi.... But only if we do at same time". It's a lot harder to do the detail of a French manicure when the fingers are in the air (and not flat on a table). I'm a good/generous tipper (never less than 25%). Looks like I did it myself and maybe after a couple of glasses of wine. But I'm pretty annoyed as I took time to from last minute work to do nails. These folks are great: they always fit you in, they remember you, and they do a bang up job. Can't recommend highly enough - even under new ownership/management, it has stayed consistent, and they even recently spruced up the place a bit. read more

I come here regularly and I really enjoy the service and the staff. The prices are great and they really try to accommodate walk-ins as best they could. I get the UV Gel and the one thing I can't stand at Salons is when they try to rush you and get the next customer in their chair. I'm happy to say I have NEVER had that problem at Palmer Nails. They take their time with my nails and leave them perfect every time. The staff is very friendly and they go over-and-beyond to make their clients comfortable. Because they are a small place, the only recommendation I would make is to book an appointment ahead of time so there is always be someone available. read more

Small, dated, and cramped interior. Walked in and was told would be 10-15 minute wait, so I waited. 5 minutes later 2 other people walked in who did not have appointments but apparently knew the staff. 10 more minutes later when a spot opened up, they were told to sit down and only then did the woman say to me, albeit very apologetically, oh I am so sorry, you have to wait longer, maybe another 15-20 minutes. I come here all the time as I live within walking distance. Once you come here on a regular basis, the owner really treats you well! I get shellac manicures for $25 and regular pedis for $19. It's a good price compared to NYC and they do a better job than any of the other nail salons I've been to in Larchmont. I usually get my nails done by the same 2 girls who sit near the front. I would call ahead if it's a weekend or if you plan on getting a few services done. read more
