I stopped by this salon recently since I was in the area & needed a pedicure & I ended up leaving with a great mani pedi!!! Sue had done my manicure & pedicure & was very kind & polite. I've been to angel nails for years, and normally they are okay. This past time was the first time I've gotten a gel manicure here, and I have never had a worse experience ever. The lady who did my nails was extremely rude and i wish I knew her name. Legitimately started screaming at me while I was doing my nails and I had to ask her why she was screaming. Clearly did not know how to do gel, I was yelping in pain the whole time. The process took forever, and she had to remove the polish and restart twice. The nails looked like shit the minute I walked out and broke later. She also kept curing gel on my skin and would tell me I was wrong and be rude for complaining. 0/10 would recommend save your money and your time. read more

This salon is cheap for a reason. After reading the recent NY Times expose on nail salons in NYC, I now worry that I'm supporting an industry that is generally exploitative and dangerous to its workers. Part of the reason I stopped in here--not my regular go-to salon--was because I was waiting for my tire to be fixed down the street and had time to kill. Though my nails came out nice, I was a little on the fence about the cleanliness of the tools, since it appeared that orange sticks, files, etc...were being used on multiple clients without being cleaned in between (there was a UV cleaner in the front, but who knows how often tools are put in there). My troubles began when I needed to put the manicure on a credit card because I had no cash. Of course there was no line for a tip on the receipt so I asked if the transaction could be run through again. The owner took one look at me, scrunched up her face into a noticeable scowl and said, "No cash?" Uh, yes, no cash. She then advised me to go to an ATM around the corner. Um, no I'm not paying fees to an ATM because you're too cheap to pay your workers fairly and don't want to pay the fee on an extra transaction. If you're averse to taking customer's credit cards, SAY SOMETHING BEFORE THEY GIVE YOU SAID CARD TO PAY THEIR BILL. I again implored her to run through the tip on my card, but she kept scowling and shaking her head. Wonderful customer service. I will NOT be returning to this salon. read more

The ladies are very nice. However, I don't find this place to be particularly clean. None of the tools they use seem to be sanitized. This was also not a fantastic mani/pedi job. Although the price is very fair, I'd rather pay slightly more and have perfect nails. read more

I love this nail salon! It's my favorite in the area! The staff are all so nice, the color selection is top of the line, the service is superb, the manicures and pedicures are beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. They do a beautiful job. You can also get waxings here. It is small, friendly, discreet, and relaxing shop and I find it a treat to come here for mani, pedi, and other services as needed. I've been to Angel Nails a few times and the services have been consistently good. Basic Mani-Pedi for $26 (or $27 for credit card) is well priced considering it's Larchmont. The Korean-owned nail salon is clean and well-ventilated, and they have a great vast selection of Essie and some OPI nail polish. My last pedicure with Jane lasted over a month without chipping (I swear I shower and wash my feet regularly!). They also have a frequent visit rewards program where every $10 you spend counts as 1 point. 10 points = 1 free mani and 30 points = 1 free pedi. read more

I would not recommend due to the cleanliness. The woman used a very used wooden tool and when I protested she mumbled something and treated me unkindly. I only entered because it was full of women, have no idea why unclean and do not use clean and sterilized tools as required by law. read more

I tried this salon 3 times before I decided to write this review. First time, excellent service and the manicurist did a good job. Nice deal - Mon, Tues and Wed - $23 mani and pedi. Great price in this neighborhood! The 2nd time, it was alright although the first manicurist was better. I paid cash, I gave her $40 and just gave me $7 back. I didn't think much about it but when I was able to give her tip, I noticed change was $10 short so I called her attention. My 3rd time, the manicurist not good at all. I had to tell her over and over to clean more. She didn't give a good massage. Then the manicure was given by the owner. First time it happened that somebody else will do my manicure. The tools she used did not come from the sterilizing machine. She said they were clean so I took her word for it. She did my nails the fastest I had them done. She cut my ring finger, I screamed because it hurt. I will never come back. Will try another salon. Not worth it! read more

My friend goes to this place religiously, so to get our nails done for prom this is where we went. Big mistake in my opinion. Currently writing this the same day that I got my nails done here and my nails are already chipped when I did nothing today. Right after I left the salon I took a closer look at my nails and they were very streaky and I could see right through the polish. The woman who did my nails was so rude to me and laughed at me and looked at her friends when I asked if she could skip filing them. She was also in general rude to me throughout the experience. Will not be coming back. You are better off going to The Nail House also on Boston Post Road, over by Trader Joe's. That's where I am going tomorrow to get these redone. read more

Don't get a permanant french manicure here - I had issues with mine later the SAME day!! Great pedicure - Spa pedicure so it wasn't cheap but I won't ever return for anything other than a pedi. read more
