I walked in an hour and a half before closing and I wish they would've just turned me away. I requested a full set and was seated immediately. The girl that initially was doing my nails was very attentive to detail, asking me for the shape and size. Soon after she was joined by another lady, and they both started doing my nails at the same time. This immediately made me feel unco because I knew they would go about doing my nails differently as everyone has a different touch. When I spoke up and asked them to please be mindful it was eve, they both seemed annoyed and ignored me. They continued to rush as closing time approached. New to the area and this was my Second time at this salon and the second time my toe nails have chipped the same day. MY TOE NAILS!! Toe nail polish would usually last until it grows out. I did give them another chance. I also don't enjoy arguing with the technician about how I want my nails shaped. I don't really understand the argument about my preference for my nails. Went for a simple manicure. The girl took out the tools, looked at them and then proceeded to cut my cuticle with it. I noticed immediately a large chunk of old skin in the tool and stopped her. She got a "new" tool and started to cut way too much of my skin to the point where I started to bleed. I told her to not cut that much. Well she didn't listen and continued to butcher my next finger. I have been going there for years and never had this issue. I then watched her cap the tool and put it back in its plastic bag with no intention of cleaning it. They are falsely advertising a "cash discount". They are now charging credit cards a 3.5% fee, but if you pay cash you're not charged. That's not a discount that's a fee for using a card. Not my first rodeo here but it certainly will be my last. I had an appointment at a certain time , waited a half an hour and I wasn't really acknowledged the whole time. Twenty five minutes in I was sent a different person to take my polish off, sing me a song and hold my hand so to speak, and by that time I was aggravated. I walked out, and as soon as I did my person was magically finished with what she was doing; half an hour later-- I don't think so! I'm never walking back in there, and I don't recommend it at all. The nerve! One more thing about this place if you're not getting a special spa pedicure they treat you like garbage. The first thing they ask you is do you want special pedicure.... they throw it on you and then if you don't they treat you different. I went in to get my nails and toes done on a saturday, i went in at 11:20 and it took them almost 2 hours to paint my toes and do half of my nails. I had to go back on sunday TWICE bc the first time i went they didn't have time. They put the gel and chrome on half of my nails are one shape. half of them are a different shape. It's now wednesday and 5 of my nails are completely lifting. This place was horrible. My child got regular french tip with a cost of 17 dollars. A new employee attempted my daughter's nails and did a nasty job. Left scratches on the ends of the polish, smudges, unfilled holes, lumps, and so much patchiness. This rating is being generous. It should be a -1. The place was nice and have. a good vibe with music and all but their service was not likewise. After I asked to redo my daughter's nails or give a refund, they said that wasn't possible to give a refund but we waited forever and no nail tech was there to redo the nails. The service at this nail salon is impeccable and they're open until 7:30 pm on week days, which is really great if you work a 9-5 sort of job. Jessica seems to be the owner or in charge, and she is awesome! I have not had a manicure where someone really cleaned under my nails, did my cuticles, buffed every nail, and really took the time to give a nice manicure. Li and Jessica both did my nails, as about 7 (literally) women came in between 6:30 and 7:30. I get the powder manicure and they really did an amazing job. I have been to a lot of nail salons that rush and are trying to turn over customers and don't care too much. But nothing special. Other salons really take the time to get the dead skin cells off.. scrubba dub dub. And they put that heel treatment on... Feet Come out like a baby's. But the Hot stone felt great. However the manicure was a wash. The design i wanted was $15 more. I declined. However The manicure was sloppy... she focused on color in the center..left & right off each nail was unpainted so i had to ask for her to go over each one. The I wanted a simple Anything on 2 nails...$5....smh. I'm paying over $100 and you can't wipe a line or 2 on two fingers??? You guessed it.. declined. So she finished up... i still gave her a tip (not as nice of a tip as I like to do) and i walked out. Ohhh and during manicure NOONE BOTHERED TO RUB A SHOULDER.. MUCH LESS 2. but I'm latina... the other ladies got the luv while I observed and I took mental notes. Needless to say NEVER AGAIN. First time here and it was GREAT!!! I called this morning wanting a massage for later today and scheduled it without an issue. When I arrived early, I was able to get started right away, after requesting a female masseuse. I had never been to a nail salon specifically for a massage, and I didn't know what to expect. I was confused when I walked in the room because I saw a towel for me to wear but I wasn't sure how to lay down to start so I just sat there until Linda came in and showed me what to do hahaha. I was face down the whole time, and normally when I get massages, they have you turn over about halfway through. It was fine, though, because the areas I needed the most focus on are most accessible when I am face down anyway. Although Linda doesn't speak much English, she understood perfectly when I mentioned wanting hard, deep pressure on certain areas and less pressure on other areas, and checked in several times to make sure the pressure was ok. I relaxed quickly and she really loosened me up, more so than most masseuses at other places I have been. It would have been nice to have a bit more time on my feet and head/scalp because it feels so good, as well as to have been turned over to reach spots that are easier to get to when someone is on their back, but the massage felt so good it didn't really matter. She spent lots of time on areas that were especially tense, and understood when I said it would be fine to move on to the next area when I felt it was enough on a given spot. At the end, Linda left the room and came back when I was getting dressed- apparently they use a towel to wipe you off after a massage but I didn't mind having lotion on me, so I just finished getting dressed and then went to go pay. I left Top 10 feeling totally limber and happy and will definitely be back. For 55$, an hour massage there is totally worth it, even if you don't get some of the perks you find at a day spa or a fancy place with massages more than double the price here. This felt so good! Around Christmas I was so excited to get a nice dark green polish with gold sparkle- when I got home, right away one of my nails chipped. The next day: two more. So, I called and went back for them to get fixed and then within another two days, two more nails chipped. They didn't even take the polish off to start over, they just painted over what was already there so when I went to another salon after this, she was surprised by how hard it was to get the polish off. I went back in March because I was desperate and thought maybe it was a one time thing. The man who started filing my nails didn't even know what he was doing, it was like he was just playing with the nail file... he "shaped" them and they were totally jagged and not even so after three times asking him to fix them I said to just cut them short so I could get out of there as soon as possible. After this a woman came over and finished the process and she was better. Now, it is a day later, and two of my nails are chipped. I called and said I wanted a refund and the woman I spoke to first said no, then told me to come in so she could see the nails. When I asked why, she said to fix them despite my saying numerous times I do not want them fixed at this place. I said if you tell me that when I get there I will get a refund, I will come, otherwise why would you make a patron go out of their way? I swear I will NEVER go back to this place and if you want your nails to turn out nice and not chip within a day... you won't go either. I came in for the first time just last week and had a really good experience. They do a meticulous job and the staff is friendly and looking to make their customers happy. I really liked to see that they kept the place clean and neat and ensured that all tools were sanitized and clean. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was good and the manicure decent, some of the nails ended with lopsided gel. Doesn't look too horrible but you can tell up close. Will probably still come back but with an appointment. Tip: they are ALWAYS busy. I went on a friday afternoon and left after waiting 20 minutes. I came back on saturday morning at 10am to again wait about 10 minutes before being helped. The people were racist unfortunately. They treated my mother and I horribly. They made us wait, offered everyone else free massages while their nails dried but refused to touch us. (before quarantine) Also complained and were very rude while doing our nails. I got a full leg wax recently. The lady was fast but failed to wax my leg properly. After I got home I spent quite a while with my tweezers! It is very disappointing to pay for a service and get the job half done. Good thing I checked before putting on my bathing suit! It was also very uncomfortable that the lady who waxed me spent a while discussing how my wax went and what I was being charged (hand gestures included) with the other ladies in front of me but in their own language. The best nail salon in the area! The place is beautiful to start. They have a mani pedi special that is every day of the week opposed the usual mon-fri. The special is 25 for both and the pedicure comes with a hot oil and hot stone leg and foot massage! They also do shellac and they have SO many colors to pick from.! The mani/pedi is fine. But you can't count on them honoring an appointment -- you can call, and they'll take it, but if a walk-in gets there a second before you do, you'll wait. And wait. And wait. They don't care. You could be ten minutes early, but still wait 30. It's amazing. And I've never had the same person start to finish - they're always flipping people around, juggling the schedule. Lastly, they are super rude about tipping, stressing that the back rub (pretty brutal, actually -- all elbows -- I've even been bruised once!) and the feet are separate and require more tips.
