Gel polish stated peeling during the first week. I guess improper application and inexperience personnel. I went back to show the owner, and he said: "next time to come for dip powder and I'll give you a discount" Irresponsible!!! I paid $65.00 plus 20% tip read more

AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS. horrible customer service and the owner is extremely passive aggressive. When asked to do a different color, the nail technician just painted over the other color and didn't remove it from the beginning. She also knocked over my kindle and it broke and they didn't apologize or anything- she even rolled her eyes at me!! The nail polish is already coming off and I got gel. extremely overpriced for mani/pedi for the polish to come off. Do NOT go here! They are no help at all and your nails will end up worse by going here. read more

Don't go to this place ! They give you a different price and the nails break in 1 day ... I'm sitting here to tell you to never come here. I got my nails done at this place and they told me ay first 70$ dollars. A little high but okay . Took 4 hours to finish and then tell me it's 80$ . I paid the 80$+20$ for tip because they looked decent . Let me attach some pictures in here so you can see the process. they have the date at the bottom and I hope this is enough to let you know how bad the quality of the material is.I don't work in a job that requires force. I'm a nanny and I only cook for my kids and talk to them because they're big kids I don't use force on my nails and this was the results of the fourth day. read more

They are very nice at Cleo nails. The nail spa is very clean and the ladies do a great job painting the nails. They offer spa pedicures with more treatments and longer massage than most places. I really liked the relaxing spa element to my pedicure. read more

The facility is: - Accessible - Clean - bright The staff is: - friendly - courteous - helpful The bathroom is a good size and is very clean. The prices are a little higher than I would like, but as a rational consumer I can see that the price is going into maintaining a great salon with fresh colors, promotions, and talented staff. I am very happy with the results of my lunch time manicure pedicure. I plan to return! read more

I went to Cleo IV for the first time this past week and think they did a great job. I got a dip powder manicure (which is actually $45, not $40 as some of the pictures on here show). I think for any salon $45 is unreasonable for dip powder and it should be kept at $40, but besides that everything was great. I cannot attest to how well the manicures stay because it has only been a few days, but the spa is clean and well organized and the staff is very nice UPDATE! Unfortunately after only 1 week my dip powder began to chip - powder typically lasts 2 weeks or more for me. read more

Since these guys changed hands this year it has gone down hill. The new owner has not made a very friendly environment so the staff is kind of strange. They don't communicate very well either. I wanted to do builder nails and they were not too sure of themselves so I just did a mani pedi in the end. I havent been back. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience- they did a great job with Covid safety measures! I walked in and was immediately greeted, they gave me sanitizer and checked my temperature. Every station had plexiglass glass (a true investment to keep staff and customers safe), and every employee was wearing a mask and gloves. They also took the names and times of every customer. I felt very safe. My gel manicure and (green tea pedicure) are beautiful- the woman I had was a perfectionist!! I also loved all of the pedicure options. Everything was very relaxing. Cleo IV Nails - My mani (and my dog lol ) - Nail Salons Near Me - White Plains, New York

Came here with the hopes to leave with a smile but unfortunately it was not the case. As I decided to try a new salon I went in and sat for a manicure. Jackie did my manicure, she was sweet but as I asked her to just push back my cuticles and trim the ugly things around it I still had to ask her to please go back to them to actually just remove them. I showed Jackie a picture of a simple design I wanted and she said YES! I can do that. As she processed to paint my nails she charged me $17 plus design. She wrote $32 dollars. I was like oh okay $15 for a design , my nails about to look bomb. Idk. I wasn't getting stones or anything so I found it crazy. After I was done I looked at my nails and said "WTF" Jackie said I tried! As I left with anger I went to my car because I am not the type to complain but I payed $32 plus tip for a shitty design my little 9 year old cousin could've made. I went back and spoke to another lady as Jackie was on break and told her I was not happy, she said why? I showed her my nails and picture I had of the design and said this looks like this? I asked if I can please come back and get it re done the next day as I didnt Have time and it was simply a crazy bad job. The lady said I don't see anything wrong U want them thicker? I said no but does this look worth extra $15? She said idk so I said okay I'll do them my self she said " ok" never tried to help or at least say let me take it off and just do a simple nails color. I Left with the same BAD nail job , no refund. Will NEVER GO BACK THERE. SUCH A WASTE read more

i came in for a gel french manicure and gel pedicure. I asked to get tips however I was not informed of their prices or that they have different types of tips varying in prices. of course they used the most expensive tips (gel tips). They work extremely slow and do mediocre work for the price. One of my tips is on crooked and although I kept telling my nail technician that I wanted the length shorter with round corners, she left them long and square! I filed them down when I got home. Lousy work and too much money. NEVER AGAIN. If they want to make things right they should call me they have my number in their reservation book. read more

This location speacializes and only does gel manicures, not sure what else but this means NO ACRYLIC THEY DO NOT DO ANY ACRYLIC WORK HERE. Which isn't an issue for me seeing how I'm a gel only kinda girl. The service is good, very clean and there is a significant language barrier but nothing too off putting. Beautiful work that last me about 3 weeks. read more

This place is very clean and very quiet (at least at the times I've been there). They have a wide variety of colors and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly. They do a good job on nails but they are SO RUDE! Really awful customer service. They are outright nasty to the customers who don't get the expensive services. The first time I walked in they were sweet as candy. I was convinced into the UV gel tips and happy I did because they look awesome. They told me it would be $100 for the first visit and $50 to fill them every visit after. When I came back 4 weeks later they told me that it's only $50 after 2 weeks and because it's been 4 it's an extra $20. The whole point of getting gel UV tips is because they last longer than a regular manicure and/or a gel mani. I wouldn't have signed up for the maintenance had they been transparent with me from the beginning. Now the nail technician is always rolling her eyes at me, being aggressive when working on my nails. Ew, just awful. read more

After getting recommendation by a friend I decided to give a try but (Of course there's BUT..) Since I became a yelper, it makes me rethink of going to places that has a bad reviews. As long as you had good experience with them I will say it's all good. So far I haven't had the best experience with other nail salon like I did with Cleo The day I went there was in the afternoon time & I was greeted by wonderful ladies. That's a good start in the beginning which made me happy. Almost all the salon I have been too they give all these angry faces but Cleo IV nail didn't! I brought a design for my nails with me & they did perfect job as shown on the picture. This time I did my nails only next time I will do my toes too to make a matching. (LOL) Overall I will definitely recommend to all my friends, & family to try out how excellent job I had received from them. Cleo good job keep up the good work! See you next time. read more

Avoid at all costs. Rude as usual. How I dream of a world in which English speaking Americans have nail salons again. I had Jenny. After reading the price menu, I got my usual callus removing pedi and mani. I tell her, of course she tries to upset me to a pedi with Green Tea. No thanks. She looks so disappointed. The pedi was good, thorough, but they used to give you a ten minute massage included years ago. I barely got a massage from Jenny. Ok Jennny. Bad tip for you. She tried to put those rubber shoes on me and I said no thanks, I wore flip flops. She insists. I can't stand her already. Why do I need to waste a pair of rubber shoes when I brought rubber shoes. They're only going to walk me from the pedi chair to the mani chair and sit in a landfill for 1000 years. She seems offended that I declined them. Now for the mani. I ask where the water dish is. It's one of those places that only puts oil on her cuticles which in my opinion, doesn't remotely soften your skin but I can't fight her. As expected, she does a very lax job cutting my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. Three times I asked to do do a few fingers again. Again, a 5 second massage. Then when my hands were all cleaned up, they usually take one more pass on cutting your cuticles. Not Jenny. I point out a few places where she missed skin to be cut and then she refuses to do as I ask, as in not interested in making me a happy returning customer. No problem Jenny. I won't be a customer. I got up not having my nails painted, and threw the exact cost of the pedi without a tip on the counter and walked out not paying for the unfinished mani. I can't imagine where these people get the balls to come here and have zero customer service skills. Nail ladies don't want to work on me because I just get a regular manicure and it's not as expensive as the gel and fake nails. read more

Eh. Feeling very lukewarm toward Cleo now. Just finished a regular manicure. While the inside is completely renovated, the customer service just isn't there. I asked for an oval nail shape, got more square. When asked if I wanted quick dry, I said yes even though I knew it would be an extra dollar, because I was on lunch. Promptly after I sat st the drying station, my manicurist disappeared and I had to apply the quick dry oil myself. Bogus. read more

They don't honor their appointments. Be expected to sit there without anyone acknowledging that you scheduled an appointment and the person you booked with is in the middle of a pedicure. I visited this salon 3X...first time I was quite satisfied. Unfortunately the tech whom took care of me (for some unknown reason) no longer was employed there. Second visit wasn't too bad until I was told to make my next appt sooner than 6wks...NO mention of being financially penalized. Third and LAST visit I was reprimanded for returning 4wks and told I will be charged an additional $20! The tech, Connie, tried to reduce to $10...rude manager argued in their native tongue it should be raised. I'm amazed after over 30 yrs to encounter such deceitful practice...BBB needs to be made aware! Customers whom pay high prices and properly tip are not appreciated, shame on them!!! read more

This place was pretty terrible. My sis and I went for a mani pedi this past weekend. We called ahead to make sure they could take us, which they said they could. We were seated in pedi chairs right away but my sister's person was apparently at lunch. So 15 minutes later after her water had gotten cold, her pedi began. Both of our pedis felt rushed. When I looked closer after I got home, it was also sloppy. We almost bailed and went to get a mani elsewhere but stayed against our better judgment. They did nothing to soften the cuticles before starting to push back and cut (ouch!). I'm one day out and nails are already beginning to chip (my manis usually last 7-10 days, of course with chipping at the end, not at the beginning). We won't be back. read more

I live across the street and this is my go to nail place. I got burns on my face from hot wax, I will never go back there.... This was probably one of the worst experiences at the nail salon.

This is a wonderful salon. I have been going here for years. It is exceptionally clean and the staff is professional and conscientious. It is also a very pleasant, soothing atmosphere and they usually have classical music playing. I usually get a massage from Jay here. She is very good, and gives a firm massage. She actually responds to areas of tightness, or areas you ask her to focus on, instead of just doing a routine set of motions without deviation. Kim is also good, not as firm - which some may prefer. They are all good at manicures and pedicures, and have seen clients request all of them. They sterilize everything, and use a sterile packet of implements if you don't have a box with them (which I don't). I have come in and seen them moving furniture to get things really clean. They must do that at least a couple times a year. I go here for bikini waxing too. They make me feel very comfortable despite such an awkward circumstance! They also do eyebrow waxing at a reasonable price. (Admittedly, I usually have mine threaded) They have a customer rewards card, and I have had enough points to get pedicures a couple of times for free, which is nice treat! They also give their regular customers a Christmas gift, usually a nice bottle of lotion. They also sell gift certificates. There are a couple cheaper places, but their cleanliness is second to none. I have never had an unpleasant experience, and I have been here probably over a hundred times over the years. read more

The place is very clean. Even though you give them a 15% tip it seems like they want more. The prices are high but they do good work
