Easy 5/5 review for Joe and his work. He was easy to communicate with regarding a ceiling fan de-installation and installation in a new apartment. Pricing was very fair, compared to many other quotes which were significantly overpriced, and he got the job done quickly and very well. Definitely keeping his number saved for future projects. read more

I needed a sliding drawer repaired- Joe communicate effectively, efficiently and honestly. Checks all the handy man boxes.

I hired Joe initially to repair a sliding glass door, he did a fine job. I hired him again to refurbish the interior of a kitchen island. This project required all day, he worked hard on it and it was more difficult than he anticipated, somewhat due to his approach. I paid him substantially more than he asked due to the difficulty and his time spent. When he left for the evening, the project was not complete, but we agreed he would return to complete the job.....But, he never did. I called him several times and attempted to schedule a follow-up to complete the work, but he could not find a date that worked for him. He stated he had other jobs to do. I am very disappointed that Joe did not compete the job or follow up with an attempt to complete it. I finally got tired of calling him to schedule. The work that was completed is substandard and I am left with the problem of getting the job done another way. read more

Awesome speedy service! Within 90 minutes of sending them a message, Joe's responded, arrived, and completed the job.

Joe installed some Siding for me and it turned out picture perfect. His work was fantastic, and it amazed me how organized and clean he was. He had all the tools and equipment that he needed, which made for an efficient workspace. He set up, he cleaned up the area, and when he was done removing the old siding he cleaned up and it looked 100% better. And he hadn't even started the siding installation. I've never seen anything like it. He is amazing. When he completed the job, it was breathtaking. And once again, he cleaned it up so beautifully. I can't wait to have him help with more projects. He is the most professional and hard-working individual I have ever met. I would highly recommend him. Ten stars. read more

Joe's Home Services - Siding - Handyman Near Me

Joe is an absolute God send. My work order involved a hole in my garage door that would have cost me hundreds to replace. He communicated with me prior to showing up to confirm my appointment, and arrived within the timeframe that he accurately quoted. Upon arrival, he quickly assessed the issue and began remediation right away. The job I had was a bit tricky due to the nature of the hole and the material of the door, however he diligently resolved the issue in a timely manner. Not only was the hole fixed, but he made the entire door literally look new after everything was completed. From start to finish, he was extremely kind, personable, and professional. I had called about 5-6 other businesses to scope out and am extremely thankful that Joe was the one I landed on. He also had the best rate of them all. For all future tasks, I will without a doubt be reaching back to him. read more

We had him replace our exterior facing side door. Unfortunately for him, the frame size was a bit off. With a bit of troubleshooting he was able to make it work and we couldn't be happier with the result. All in all, he came through quick, easy, and competitive - well worth it. read more

Joe's the best! He was communicative from the start, gave a fair price, fit my projects into his schedule, and arrived on time. He has a great work ethic and is super friendly. He planned and executed great solutions for multiple problem projects that I've been putting off for a long time. He installed an automatic chicken coop door, fixed two closet door tracks, replaced bath fixtures, fixed the screen door, and replaced rotting wood beams on our swing set structure. Highly recommend! read more

I am so grateful to have found Joe. Our Pottery Barn bed and been moved a few times and one day half the bed collapsed. Turns out that all the screws holding in the bed's 5 slat support system had either fallen out or were halfway in. I called Joe and no surprise he has a busy schedule but was able to come by and check out the bed after his last appointment of the day. Within an hour, our bed was good as new. Joe was professional, detailed, and ensured that the job was done right. Finding a talented, reliable handyman is no easy feat. My husband and I are thrilled that we have someone like Joe for any of our home needs. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered a new dishwasher from Home Depot with installation and haul away service. But they refused to install it due to clearance space 1/8 of inch lease than the required 34". Sent an inquiry to Yelp, Joe was the first to respond and even made time on his scheduled day off given my scheduling constraints. Better yet, he was able to adjust my old dishwasher and make it run again without the need of replacing it. I am returning the new unit for a full refund. Happy ending! Thanks Joe! I will for sure reach out again when I need help around the house again! read more

Joe was the only handyman recently to actually: 1. respond to my request for a quote within 24 hours, 2. give me a reasonable quote, and 3. show up at my house and complete the jobs quoted. He even found some disconnected air conditioning ducts in the attic when he was up there for an unrelated installation, and he fixed those. He is respectful, skilled, and RELIABLE. read more

Contacted Joe to install doors that I had purchased as I was trying to soundproof a few rooms. After Joe inspected the new doors, he recommended not to install them due to safety issues. Joe is great! He's professional, has a ton of experience and can fix anything. He'll work hard to get your job done right

Joe is great at returning calls and communicating. He came to my house the next day, and got the job done efficiently.

My 8 months of frustration makes me want to give a one star review, but since Joe didn't do anything, I generously gave him 2 stars. Read this review and you decide if I'm a patient reasonable person and ask yourself if you have the same patience. I contacted Joe in August 2023 about doing some house painting and a small amount of carpenter work. Joe came right out and looked the job over. We scheduled the work for the fall either October or November and I didn't even ask him to quote me a price. In mid-November, after not hearing from him, I called Joe and he said he was too busy and would start in mid-December. Called Joe in mid-December and he said the work would start early January. This went on and on like that week after week with me always calling Joe and Joe never once calling or texting to keep me informed. Finally in March I told Joe he had to do the work because my patience had run out. Joe said for sure the job would be done in late March or at the very latest by second week of April. Called Joe last week of March and Joe said your job will be the second week of April 2024. The second week of April arrived and Joe didn't show up or contact me. On Wednesday I called Joe once again and he said, "I will definitely be there this week". Friday came and again no Joe and no word from Joe, just his usual discourtesy. Angry and frustrated after waiting 8 months, I was done with no show Joe's discourtesy and false promises. I made other arrangements and before the end of the following week the job was finished to a high standard with no problems and the price was very reasonable. I should have called this company in the first place because they did a perfect job and did not cause any frustration like Joe's endless delays, excuses, and no show promises without even the courtesy to once call or text me. Finally, after I had hired another company, I got my first ever text from Joe saying he would start next week after he did something else. I had heard that "after I do something else" story before and I told Joe it was over. It felt good to kiss 5 star Joe goodbye! read more

After my first blind installer wasn't able to complete the job I was left with an office full of uninstalled blinds and only 2 installed windows. We have a metal framed building and the first installer wasn't using the proper hardware. I had trouble finding someone to come out and finish the job. Until I found Joe's home service. I called him on Friday afternoon and he was able to come later that same afternoon! Initially he said he can come to at least take a look at it and see if he could get the job done, but he ended up coming and installing. I did provide him with all the hardware, and fasteners he needed, so being prepared aided him in being able to do it same day. He had the job wrapped up in about 2 hours. He was professional, clean, organized, and helpful. read more

Thank you Joe. He fixed my drywall and floors after I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom that damaged my drywall and floors but also my ceiling drywall and floors downstairs. I found Joe through the Nextdoor app and requested a quote from his website. He responded quickly and we scheduled a walk through that same day. About 3 weeks later, he began working in my home. Joe's, first task was to close off two large windows in the kitchen to begin the remodel. The job was completed in 4 days, which includes the drywall, mudding and stucco on the outside. The workmanship was great. Very happy with the end results. In addition, Joe changed our very old and corroded plumbing in the kitchen and master bathroom. He installed our dishwasher, kitchen and master bathroom sinks. He also added recessed lighting in our kitchen. The jobs were big and Joe would work until completed. Great work ethic. Everything is working well and looks great. Joe is knowledgeable, experienced and honest. I never got the feeling that he's "in it for the money." Joe is someone I can trust and that's important to me. He made himself available to help with any issues during our kitchen remodel. Joe managed to squeeze our needs in his already busy schedule. I've found my go to person for any issues that may arise in my vintage home. I would highly recommend Joe's Handyman services. Thanks again Joe!! read more
