This place is clean and has a relaxing environment. I came at the end of the working day but they still fit me in. They used sterile instruments and protectors in the tubs for pedicures. I loved the emphasis on clean and sterile. It is very affordable and they have tons of dip colors. Everyone was friendly and they didn't try to rush me out. read more

I generally do not like getting my nails done, but I needed to get myself together for a girls trip. I found Lily on Instagram and sent her a pic of what I thought looked cute. She got me in very quickly and did a great job! They were perfect for Vegas! As soon as I got home, though, I couldn't wait to get them off, so I walked in to get them removed and replaced with gel. I didn't catch the man's name who did them, but he also did a very good job! He was patient with me when I changed my mind multiple times on color, and he told me to come back if they chip or peel any time over the next two weeks-- I haven't had to and don't think I'll need to. He was also gentle with my cuticles and didn't hurt me once. Like I said, I never get my nails done and a large part of that is because I never enjoy the experience. Had an appointment today for a deluxe pedicure and SNS manicure. The deluxe pedicure was good. If I'd only receive that service, I would have given it a three and a half or 4 stars. However, the SNS, not so great. The application is the thickest I've ever received. In addition, the shape of my natural nails is more the effect of a coffin now, than the shape of my own nails. The length of my nails is not consistent and the shape isn't either. I have SNS powder stuck to almost all of my cuticles and on the skin underneath my nail. The question now is... do i go somewhere else to have it taken off, or, do leave it for the week? Yikes. read more

My white gel acrylics lasted over two weeks with breaking or coming off! I love Joe Nails because they took into account I don't want my natural nails to be TOO damaged, so when they filed they did it very, very lightly. While I waited (I was a walk-in) I was offered fresh watermelon, a bottle of water and there were other snacks available (all pictured). If you are looking for a safe and sanitary nail salon during Covid, this is it! Everything was super clean, they practiced social distancing, and everyone was wearing masks appropriately. They do not seat you directly next to someone to allow social distancing for pedicures and manicures. For manicures there is plexiglass between you and your nail technician. I got the organic spa pedicure, and it was lovely! My toes look great! Everyone there was so nice and wonderful. I highly recommend this business! read more

this was my second visit to Joe Nails. I made a same day appointment for a full set of acrylics gel polish. I was helped by Peter and he did a pretty good job. Made them thin like I like and was fairly meticulous. My one finger is slightly slanted but not person. My grand total was $45 so the prices are high average. I mentioned my back was hurting during the appointment so after he was done polishing, he wrapped my hands in warm towels and have me a quick shoulder rub. It's clean and had music playing. Despite the manager's comments below, the issues were brought to her attention -- that is why she issued the voucher mentioned in my original review. Fingernails that have been filed down too thin on the top, or toenails that have been cut so short that they grow-in can't be fixed by anything other than letting them grow back out, which is a months-long process. Four months later, I am still trying to grow out all the damage done by two of the technicians who work here -- both the manicurist and pedicurist. I wouldn't return to Joe Nails under any circumstances. read more

OK, last review (2/1/2013) hadn't been posted correctly and just re-posted but that was my first time at Joe's on Dec'12. My second visit was last Sunday, Feb 3. I have to say is always nice to be able to make an appointment on the same day, availability is always important for beauty day! Lol! BUT, this time my experience was a little bit different, even though the service was great - the family does a good job keeping you pampered - my manicure service left me a bit unsatisfied; reasons below: 1.- My old gel nail polish was pulled off from my nails instead of my nails being soaked in acetone to remove it, this took the top layer of my nails off and made them brittle and so soft that it was a bit painful for the next day; they still soft and at the least bend of any of them it hurts because, they lack that first hard layer of protection. So, I'll will suggest to anyone getting the gelysh manicure to not let them pull the gel off your nails! I know next time won't let them do it. 2.- The gel nail polish I choose (red #15) tends to shrink (a lot!) when put on your nails but not the toenails (not sure why, find it odd). I wasn't told this before starting my manicure and I'm a bit disappointed, my nails look as if I got the manicure almost a month ago already because of the gap between the cuticle and the gel, and it's been just a couple of days since I had it! Again, something I hope the owners will remember to advise to the customer ahead of time and avoid bittersweet reviews. All and all, I will be going back to Joe's because the cleanness of the place, the friendly staff and owners (Jenny makes wonders scheduling appointments), because I love gelysh mani/pedis and they have the best prices! Don't let a bad experience get you and never got back to the place, communication and an honest review will let them see where's to improve and just keep getting better! =) This is my personal experience and story and I stick to it! Originally what I asked for couldn't be done and then I settled for second best which.. couldn't be done either. Shape is off and quite bumpy. Love this salon! The pedicures are the best I have received. They are so detailed. The staff is the nicest I have found- they actually care! I have permanently changed from Enso Nail Salon in Pflugerville to here. The staff at Joe Nalils never pressure you or try to "trick" you into getting something more expensive. High quality for very reasonable prices. They take walk-ins but I think they also appreciate call aheads to make appointments. read more

Tried this place out for the first time this morning. Now granted it was 10 o'clock Tuesday morning and I was the only person there but, my nails and tootsies turned out flawless. I can't remember the mans name that did my pedicure, but it was ahhh-mazing, over 20 minute massage with hot stones and paraffin! I went with the SNS nails and Kim did a fantastic job, very detailed work. I will defiantly be back. I recently found this place on yelp and decided to give them a try. I've lived in Texas my entire life, and I've lived in the surrounding Austin area since 2010, I was new to the immediate area and needed my nails/toes done before a big August vacation. I was able to book an appointment for my best friend and I same day, and we received exceptional service. I also went back in for a facial for my birthday, and it was one of the highlights of my day. Jenny did both my nails and my facial, and she called me the day after the facial to make sure my skin was feeling good and that I had no problems. Even as I am typing this, the dip mani and regular pedi I received on August 16th are still on my nails/toes and STILL going strong! They are not cracked or chipped and probably could last another two weeks until they look 'not perfect'. I will say I do recommend calling ahead and making an appointment if possible, makes the whole process easy breezy! read more

I found this little gem alittle while ago, tucked into a small plaza. I needed to find a new nail place after the quality kept going down hill where I had been going. I'm so GLAD I did, this place is amazing. Clean, maintaining social distancing tucked into a small plaza. I love the relaxing zen music they play add to that a warm/cool neck wrap, HEAVEN! I have had facial and underarm waxs there was alot of attention to detail. Pedicures awesome, I can get large calluses pretty quick (blame me walking barefoot alot) but they are definitely taken care of! But oh those nails...can I give 10 stars?! I've had my nails done for 20 years but never a SNS. I love it, my nails seem stronger. Today I had time to spare so called and got in within 45 minutes. Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to a newly decorated shop. Beautiful and Jenny came in while I was there bringing in fresh flowers for her shop. They asked if I wanted water and fresh fruit. After having basic mani and pedi at the same time we went to the front of the store for my toes to dry. They put my hands in plastic gloves with collagen and wrapped in warm towel.
