I did extensive research on Contractors (contacted 15+ businesses) and JNT Restoration was the only one that brought their Estimator on-site for the initial meeting to look at our home (other companies only send someone to come out and measure). In terms of pricing, I did my research. JNT Restoration was extremely reasonably priced compared to other companies. The entire process went very smoothly and they actually finished the project earlier than estimated! Tony was the project manager and was very quick to respond via email/text. I would avoid this company at all costs. Not only did they fail to meet their own project completion deadline by months, only showing up for a few hours each week, their quality of work was absolutely terrible. We had to have them redo a few areas, and Tony became completely irate over the phone, shouting and hanging up on us after threatening that they would not step back into the house until we paid them extra to fix their mistakes. The insurance company ended up siding with us after we showed them months of screenshots dealing with this company. The stress and financial strain caused by working with this unprofessional company was honestly traumatizing. JNT did shoddy work on my house and tried to cover it up. JNT seems to do a lot of water restoration work, for these types of companies they are usually expensive but you expect good service and work. Unfortunately, in my case, JNT performed defective installation of the tile counter and then tried to cover it up and claims it was my fault when I tried to get it fixed. Here are the details and the error is obvious if you do a google search on proper way to tile counters. I even sent the exact email to Tony and he didn't even bother to respond.... "The tile was installed in 2020, a small crack started to form a few months later, we called to complain. JNT came out and said the crack were caused by something bumping into it and not covered under warranty. As 2021 progressed, I noticed the crack expanding all along the front edge.  I did some google research on the proper way to tile the front edge of counters and learned that you are supposed to put cement board on the front edge (this is the way all the other counters in my house (not installed by JNT) were installed). It now seems clear to me the tiles were originally installed incorrectly in 2020 and the JNT guy that came out in 2020 was just giving me the run around even though he should have known clearly that the work was defective to begin with. Now forward to 2022, I pass all the new info to JNT management and JNT tells me the warranty is expired and I need to pay to repair the work which was defective to begin with. If any of this is incorrect, please correct me.  But if the info are right, it seems to me to be a dishonest way of running the business and it will not be a business that can sustain itself in the long run." read more

A few months ago we woke up to our kitchen totally flooded from a broken angle stop under the sink. It was devastating especially because I was scheduled to have surgery in a few weeks and it's the last thing I needed. We got a referral for JNT from a friend of a friend and they were life savers. They were at our house drying everything out and packing everything up to prevent more damage within a few hours. To be clear, at this time JNT has had their Contractor's License suspended due to non compliance with an arbitration award. In other words, they lost an arbitration and have refused to pay. My understanding is they have filed for bankruptcy. Their phones are no longer active and emails are returned saying the address is no longer active. I'm writing this in case Anthony Gonzalez tries to start another business. We had major water damage 4 years ago, and had JNT do the remediation, and unfortunately had them do a major interior remodel at the same time. It was a complete nightmare, with major problems from inexperienced JNT personnel and sub par sub contractors used by JNT. We have thousands of dollars of warranty work that Anthony Gonzalez promised would be corrected. He jerked us around and lied to us for over a year about scheduling work. We are now having to pay to have the work, covered by their "warranty" done by other, more reputable companies. The J (Javier) and N (Noe) of JNT had left the company at some point in the past couple of years, no doubt due to Tony's unscrupulous dealings. Work provided was slow and was not on site to manage the renovation that needed daily attention. We had to direct workers several times during the months. There were days not being on-site and no communication to next steps. Schedule was adhoc until pressed, and even then could not complete on time. Had to stop the contract because the worked stopped and was incomplete with the site left extremely dirty. read more

This review is going to cover a lot of things but JNT does great work. We have used this company to fix leaking issues multiple times for our property and they have done an amazing job each time. (All different areas and causes) The main part of the review comes for a renovation that they did for us (yes, they do renovations too!). We had our whole entire kitchen remodeled and it looks excellent now! Soft close drawers, custom built cabinets and an upgraded pantry were many of the things that they worked on. We also had the entire flooring completely redone on both floors of our condo. To top it off, we remodeled our bathrooms as well and everything came out fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the results from this renovation and would definitely hire them again for any other projects we have. The main person we worked with was Tony and he was awesome! Had a leak in the attic and caused the dry walls to get wet and the floor to sweep up. These guys were their within the hour and examined the situation and began work. We accommodated their schedule and then when they screwed up on the weather forecast, we asked them to move our goods in on Saturday and they flat out refused. Not once but twice, I was very displeased with this company. During the first incident, I was quoted a price that was 4 AND 1/2 TIMES the amount of another, similar company (the one I eventually hired, and that did an excellent, bang-up job). Another time, our property manager was unaware of my displeasure with them, and called them out to care for a plumbing problem which our tenants were having. Instead of simply charging us for the work they DID do, they charged us nothing (for the meantime), but then amped up the nature of the problem, saying that it was so bad that a full "restoration" was needed. Because of how expensive a restoration would be, they suggested we file an insurance claim. Well, as it turns out, we later had our trusted general contractor come out, to offer a second opinion, and the situation was NOTHING like JNT had described. It was just a small, little leak, which he quickly fixed, and which had caused NO RESIDUAL DAMAGE. This company does not have the consumers' best interest at heart. Beware! read more

Going on 2 months of restoration and they have messed up 10 or more times. Extremely shady work. First they broke our dishwasher while installing new pipes. Then they ordered the wrong flooring. Then when the flooring came there wasn't enough. It happened to fall on a friday and they don't do work on weekends, so that pushed it back more. Then it took 2 whole weeks to install the floor because they are supposedly juggling to many jobs at the same time. Then they messed up the floor installation by leaving too big of gaps and now they have to redo all of the trim. Not to mention they show up late almost every time. Our home is still not finished and me and my family have been living at a mid hotel for 2 months and going. The new manager simply does not know what he is doing. Carlos and Tony I hope you are happy screwing families over week after week because you don't know how to run a company. JnT may have been good in the past, but i'm telling you do NOT use this company unless you want to be without your home for a VERY long time and run into mistake after mistake along the way. Also forgot to mention almost every time Carlos would say he would "give me a call back" he didn't, which made things go even slower. Terrible company, wish I never used them. read more
