We just wrapped up a massive remodel with David at Certified Construction. They did both of our bathrooms, our kitchen, and completely redid our fireplace. Taking on that much work all at once is intimidating, but David and his crew made it as painless as possible. The tile work in our bathroom is insane. We went with a dark green subway tile in the shower/tub and a patterned mosaic on the floor, and every single line is dead-on straight. All the brass fixtures, the sliding glass door, and the double vanity feel super solid and were installed cleanly. The kitchen and fireplace turned out just as good. What I appreciated most was that David was on top of communication the whole time. If a question popped up, he texted or called right away, and his guys actually cleaned up after themselves every afternoon so our house wasn't a complete disaster zone while they worked. David was supportive with our budget and took the time to explain the process and keep the project within our scope. I posted before and after pictures because the contrast is crazy. Can't recommend David and CCS enough. It feels like we moved into a new home. read more

I need a kitchen redone from water damage. This team got it done in 2 days. Happy cooking again. Thank you

Words can't express how happy I am with the work that David and his team have done for my kitchen that had flooded from a drain back up that ruined and contaminated everything. Once the Water mitigation was done and everything could be put back together David had already been in the talks with my Insurance Adjuster to get things moving along that way we wouldn't be left without a kitchen to use for long. Once we got the go ahead from insurance David got everything scheduled from Flooring, cabinets, Countertop, drywall, painting Etc. and was pretty smooth sailing from there. I'm beyond content with the outcome as our kitchen is just gorgeous compared to our original 1950's kitchen we had. Thanks David for everything you guys did an amazing job and from what I hear from my insurance at a very reasonable price. I will for sure be recommending Certified Construction Services to anyone that may be dealing with water damage claims or even just possibly wanting to remodel read more

I contracted Certified Construction Services for a large restoration project after water damaged my garage. Repairs were quick and communication was very easy. I didn't not have any problems with scheduling the repair at all. David answered the phone every time I called and walked me through the process step by step. The quoted price was more than fair for the job and he provided a line by line invoice before we agreed on moving forward. I have nothing but good things to say about the service, quality of work, constant communication, great price and ease of working with the team. This company is highly recommended. They have my business any time in the future if I need restoration work. k. Marshall read more

Our water heater burst back in late February. We were directed to CCS to repair the damages to our home and could not be more confident, excited and very happy with the work they did. They are transparent, respectful, understanding and a pleasure to work with. MISTAKES will happen so please allow for that during you rebuild. It's just a fact and CCS handled any and all mistakes quickly and professionally. Our ensuite was destroyed and we had ideas about what we really wanted in our bathroom. CCS and Angel custom made our shower doors, which has never been done by CCS. EVERYTHING turned out FANTASTIC! The counter top to our vanity was fabricated by CCS and again, F-ing beautiful, to us. Our entire house needed to be re-floored and it looks awesome! We highly suggest anyone to give CCS a chance to help you. David was honest and succinct every step of the way. Robin was on time, professional and sincere explaining what needed to be done and why. Their crew were quick, friendly and knowledgable. Thank you CCS for helping us out when we didn't know anything, nor where to start. read more

The Company Express Dry hooked me up with David and his team after my upstairs neighbor flooded my kitchen dinning room ceiling area in my condo! David's team did all the drywall and painting in my unit. His team is very courteous, precise, and displays professional skillfulness. The drywall was installed flawlessly with plenty of structure. They had it completed in a days work! The same is true for their painting service. David had me choose a color I wanted and his painter performed some miracle painting my ceilings and entire living area walls. The cuts are perfect straight lines and all the necessary safety precautions were taken. I can only recommend his services and will fall back on him whenever I'm in need of his services. read more

overall not a good experience. Was sent to david from DryRight (also horrible) would not recommend. very similar experience to the other one star review. The scope of work changed, and revised quotes were promised to be emailed (never came) I was overcharged and then refunded. They acted like I was putting them out every time I asked a question. The person who actually did the work Manuel was very nice and did good work. But getting to that point and having to deal with David was very stressful. He asked me to remove this review when I posted it last year, and I did, but I am putting it back up because now less than a year after the work was done I am seeing the cracks in the work. read more

Had to deal with the dreaded homeowner leak/flood and ensuing damages from both and was referred to CCS. David (and team) was extremely helpful and explained the entire process to me, was available to answer any questions I had, responded in a timely manner and essentially held our hand throughout the process of getting my home back together. Very happy to have met him and his team and wish nothing but growth and success for the business. If you need any of the services they offer, this is the place to go. read more

Had David to help us with our home and was not happy at all with his service. He had poor scheduling and also didn't do what he promised. My wife and I told him that the people who put new drywall in our home didn't do a good job and that the painters he hired were not great at all. He said he would come back and check it out to have it touched up and he never came. Funny thing is, he never asked us to put up a review about his service. Well here it is and I suggest people stay away from this business. read more

We had a great experience with CCS! We had a roof leak and mold in our sunroom and were pretty stressed about it all. David came the day I called to inspect things and we go the work underway quickly. Robin handled the mold removal and drying and he was great! Very personable and responsive to texts. Once that was taken care of, George was the project manager for the reconstruction portion. He was very friendly and explained the process well. There was some downtime before the reconstruction started because I didn't pick the new floor and paint - that is the only improvement I can suggest - they should have told me to pick the materials sooner since I've never done a remodel before. They did help me get the tile I wanted at a lower cost which I was happy about! The finished product looks great and we were really pleased with the attention to detail. They even came back to fix our french doors that had never closed properly even though they did not have to do that and was not part of the contract. After the initial mold removal we had a second roof leak and David answered my call during the record breaking rain and assured me it would get taken care of. He handled it with the utmost integrity and honesty. We really enjoyed working with the CSS team and won't hesitate to call them in the future! read more

David and George turned my nightmare into a happy renovation. I dont wish a flood on anyone, but if you happen to have this unfortunate event, do not hesitate to call David. Pleasure working with David and Jorge from CCS. David helped me work with my insurance provider to make sure I got the full amount for the repairs. We were initially low balled by our insurance for less the half the cost of the repair. David worked with me and the adjuster to get the amount up to what we needed to do the repair. When it came time to do the work Jorge was the project manager assigned to the project. Jorge was everything we wanted out of a project manager. Friendly, very knowledgeable, and always available via text/phone for questions. He also stopped by our place every couple of days to monitor the progress and make sure all the work was up to CCS standards - and they have high standards for their work. In the end my husband and I were extremely happy with the results. Both of our bathrooms are gorgeous and came out exactly as we imagined while we were planning. Highly recommend CCS! read more

We own a home in Camel Valley / Del Mar and had a first floor water leak that required renovating the entire first floor. This first floor renovation involved the entire kitchen cabinetry and kitchen island, 1/2 bathroom, dining room, living room, great/family room, all flooring, and drywall/painting. David and his team did a stunning job (photos below). We liked his work so much that we had him go ahead and work on the second floor since he was there; we wanted to match the second floor with the first floor. He worked directly with our insurance carrier and our other contractors with no issues. He responded quickly and timely to all of our emails, phone calls and texts. This really helped us because our primary residence is in the San Francisco Bay Area. David helped us choose the right materials and colors like flooring, kitchen cabinetry etc. because he had experience working on similar high end homes. He never overcommitted dates and times. The home was done when he said it would be done. We know we were fortunate to be recommended to David and his team. We have another home in SoCal, and we plan on using his services for that home as well. read more

We had unexpected water damage at the house. Several walls had to be demolished in the upstairs bathroom and living room areas. Flooring was damaged in the bathroom and Living/Dining room areas as well. David did a great job determining the work that was needed and helping me submit the estimate to the insurance company. We had no issues with the estimate and after we got the insurance approval, David and his team coordinated the rebuilding of the walls, painting, travertine tile and hardwood flooring installation as well as baseboard and crown moldings. The wife is happy with the work and everything looks like nothing ever happened. I would definitely recommend CCS for your rebuilding needs. read more

I usually do not write reviews for companies on yelp, however the services provided by Certified Construction Services Inc was beyond my expectations. At the beginning of November when we first noticed that water was leaking from our second floor bathroom down to our living room, we had no idea where to begin. Long story short, the plumbing company that we used recommended CCS Inc to assist in basically rebuilding our damaged living room and bathroom. Day 1 of meeting David, I knew we were in good hands and that he would be in our corner for us and making sure that the job was done correctly and efficiently based on his expertise and overall friendliness! This was our first experience needing a remodel of our home. We had questions about the process every step of the way- how it works, timelines, etc. and every question was answered very promptly (which just isn't common nowadays). David and his team would even drop by every couple of days to make sure that the work was being done to our standards, and just to touch base and this meant a lot to us and made us not feel like we were on an island in the process (I can't say the same for our insurance adjuster, met him one time and never saw or heard from him really again). If I could give this company 10 stars I would, and I also would recommend them to any and all friends, family, and acquaintances! If you want the job done right and you want to be taken care of, look no further than David and his team with Certified Construction Services Inc. read more
