Wow! What an amazing experience start to finish. Fantastic customer service. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Quick turnaround times. From Andy this was a flawless experience from beginning to end.....other than my mold, I suppose. Highly recommend this company if you are suspicious about mold or air quality. I try to call them and the owner gave me attitude because i was asking questions that i felt were important to know or at least gain a knowledge on how much i was gonna get charged! After the owner copped me s attitude i went with VERT & that too was a huge mistake! read more

They seemed fine until the bills came in. When they came to do the testing, they assured me that insurance would cover it all, however they surpassed the high levels of coverage offered by USAA and left me with out of pocket expenses of over $200. They do work directly with insurance to submit invoices, but I didn't see all of the invoices until I asked (months after the work was done) because they started texting me about paying the bill without having ever sent me one, before the check even arrived. I'm reluctant to submit payment now as I worry I was taken advantage of and I'm trying to figure out why there is such a cost differential. Still working to see if insurance will cover the difference, but when I'm already in a stressful home damage situation and already had to pay my deductible out of pocket, getting additional bills (that I was told by the company would be covered by insurance) is not appreciated, nor is getting texts about payment when they never even sent the invoice. Also, payment questions should all be via email or a more professional interface than texting, but perhaps that is something I did not clarify. read more

I had an asbestos issue in the attic of my house and VM3 was a pleasure and joy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Nick, Andrew my tester, and Ramon the field manager. Nick works in the front office and he was very accommodating in scheduling days that worked for my testing. There were a lot of timing details that had to be coordinating between VM3 and the abatement company and Nick was fantastic in navigating these and keeping me updated and well informed throughout the process. Thank you Nick for being a joy to work with! When I met Andrew the CSST inspector/tester at my home for the first consultation, he drafted a detailed drawing of the home and answered a lot of questions I had about the type of testing that could be done and the pros and cons of each. He introduced me to the aggressive' testing method for air tests which I had not come across before. Because I had a decently sized abatement job, and wanted to get more info on how many and what tests to do and where exactly in my house, I had an hour long super informative and incredibly helpful conversation with Ramon, the field supervisor. Ramon is a GEM. He was patient with all of my questions and an excellent teacher and educator. He had in depth knowledge of his field and was able to explain the answer to all my questions in a way that was detailed but still easy to understand. When we came up with a plan for testing (19 tests!) Ramon communicated this extremely effectively to Andrew. On the day of testing, Andrew did a thorough and detailed job of telling me exactly how and where he tested. Thank you so much to the team at VM3. You all are fantastic. read more

VM3 and specifically Jake came very highly recommended by a friend who had used him twice. The rave reviews are 100 percent right. Jake was able to give me an appointment exactly when I needed it and was beyond professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Not only was it clear he knew exactly what he was doing, what he was looking for and the best approach but he is also a very kind human being. Jake called the very next day with results and the day after I received an incredibly thorough print out report. I cannot recommend VM3 more highly. Inspections like these are stressful enough but in the hands of people like this you can rest easy. read more

I had a different company called Yes We Inspect quote me $3500-$5000 just to tell me if I had mold. Even though I already knew I had mold. Insane. Called a few companies and found these guys. Anthony did outstanding, and honest work. There reports are full of great detail and I would honestly use them again or refer them to any one I know. They had fair pricing and I felt were honest. In the mold world, there are alot of scam artists. See company above....these guys were great. read more

We had an asbestos contamination within our home and our property owner sent over another testing company that did a horrible job. I was not happy with their work and knew I had to call in some real professionals to do the job. I reached out to VM3 Environmental and explained our situation and they had someone come out to the property the next day. Jake was our inspector and he did a tremendous job at informing me of all the variables to our situation and provided excellent customer service to the matter. Jake conducted his testing in a very professional manner and behold found multiple areas in our house that was contaminated with asbestos in which the previous company did not find. If you care about your health and the health of your family I highly recommend VM3, they will treat your right and provide education throughout the whole process. Thank you VM3 for looking out for our health and putting together a very detailed report on our findings! read more

Jake was the technician that did all the testing at my house. He explained the process and answered all my questions. We asked to do 8 samples just to make sure that my house is free from asbestos. It only took him less than an hour, from the time he came, do his testing and wall patching. We requested on yelp on Monday May 17, did the testing on Tuesday (May 18) and received our report that Friday morning with all negatives. Thanks VM3! read more

THE BEST! Professional, thorough, patient and educated. You don't want to call these guys, but if you need to call someone to check your home, VM3 Environmental should be your top choice. Called them to check our house for some things we had been suspecting were affecting my wife's health. First, they discovered on an open wall that ServPro did NOT dry it out as it should have been... saving us a headache and allowing us to stop repairs before things got too far forward. ServPro did come back to fix the issue and confirmed using their own moisture meter the studs in our wall were still wet. Aside from that, their communication via email and phone was very thorough. You could tell they cared about what we were asking and spent a great deal of time providing us with research and information. Special thanks to Jake, Andy, Dru and Tim for all their help and patience. read more

This company's workers were prompt, knowledgeable, professional & quite willing to answer questions about a difficult situation for us. Quality service at a fair price. Their follow up was exceptional. Ryan is the man! We hope we do not need them again, but would use them again without hesitation. read more

My husband and I had concerns about the environmental safety of our biz building. VM3 swooped in like like a superhero! They responded fast and performed a very thorough investigation, addressing all of our concerns, explaining everything and answering all our questions. The final report was well documented, and the sample testing had an impressively quick turnaround (we were even called on a Sat with the results!). We were thrilled to learn mold wasn't found, and we are so appreciative that VM3 provided an exceptional experience that gave us the professional trustworthy reassurance we needed. Highly recommend!! read more

I have a two-bedroom condo I'm remodeling and the first thing to go was the cottage cheese ceiling. The first step was to find out if there was asbestos . I was referred to VM3 by Ceiling Specialists. The VM3 tech (Ryan) arrived on schedule to take ceiling samples to test for asbestos. He spent time with me explaining the process and the timeline in which to expect the test results. Everything went smoothly from my first contact via phone to getting the final test results. Very professionally run outfit. Thank you! read more

Our house is currently in escrow and with us being first time home buyers, we were concerned about certain areas that might have mold problems as well as the stylish popcorn ceilings containing asbestos. I was referred to VM3 from two of my coworkers who had worked with Andy Konopacki and said he was the best. I reached out to VM3 and discovered Andy was on vacation. Everything seems to be urgent when in escrow and Andy coordinated with us to come from the airport to our potential house to get the testing done. He was thorough, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and explained his testing in detail. He did not pressure us to perform additional and costly testing while still providing the security and peace of mind that we were looking for. He had the popcorn ceiling samples tested immediately and we had a full report to communicate with the sellers of the house in less than 24 hours. I would recommend VM3 to anyone looking for an honest company to complete the inspection timely and honestly and provide prompt results. read more

Very professional company. I unfortunately had to use them twice in the past 6 months. Both times they provided amazing service. Rigo did both of my inspections. He takes his time, is thorough and found my mold problem. Their follow up was timely and efficient. I can't say enough about this company. read more

I had an incredible experience with VM3 Environmental. I called and left a message for Asbestos testing on a weekend. Drue called me back first thing Monday morning. Drue was able to work with my schedule and have Jake meet me at my home over my lunch hour that very day. Jake was on time, professional and explained exactly what he was doing and where he was taking the samples from in the house. I was able to pay with a credit card on site, which was a huge help as I didn't have my check book on me. The results of the test were sent BEFORE I was expecting them! All around it was amazing, professional service. I felt like not only were we being taken care of with our timeline, but I felt like they were a company I could trust with the results. If we ever needed any testing done, I would use VM3 before anyone else in San Diego. read more

I highly recommend VM3. Jake did several tests and made several recommendations over a long course of mold issues. Everyone at VM3 was prompt and responsive, and very helpful in getting our problems resolved. read more

Drue from VM3 was in touch within a couple of minutes of my online message and Jake was able to check our garage HVAC situation out the next morning. I'm really pleased with how punctual and informed the team are, especially considering our timeline with the AC install. I will be recommending VM3 to friends and colleagues and in the event that we need a different inspection (due to the joys of home ownership), I'll be using them again. read more

I'm a real estate agent. My clients like to be as well-informed as possible about important subjects like mold, lead and other potentially dangerous substances that can be found in homes. Andy and his team at VM3 Environmental have repeatedly provided me and my clients with first-rate, Nordstrom-like service. They communicate well, show up on time, explain their processes in a straight forward way, and produce comprehensive reports and data once they've completed testing. Sometimes they find a problem. Sometimes they put my and a clients mind at ease and let us know there's little to worry about. I like the peace of mind that comes from knowing my clients know the facts, rather than making assumptions. VM3 is always my first call regarding any mold or lead paint issue and I recommend them highly. read more

Had such a wonderful experience with VM3 Environmental and their inspector Ryan Decker was great to work with and very informative. Super fast at calling me back initially and got an appointment set up for that very day. He did a very thorough inspection if our home and we received the inspection report in a very short amount of time. The whole process only lasted 3-4 days (had to wait for lab sample results). Was very pleased with the timely process especially since we do have quite the mold problem. I would definitely use this company again, although I hope for obvious reasons that I will never have to! Lol Thank you VM3 Environmental! read more

Was referred to the company through ServPro, and worked with Andy. It was a bad situation, but through the process, even before Andy was needed, we were quickly able to secure the appointment, and receive immediate results. HUUUUGE Shout Out to Paul De Soto @ VM3 Environmental!! A client of mine had concerns about an asbestos material in the furnace closet of a home he was buying. Paul was incredibly patient and informative, not only when he came to test the materials, but in all the follow-up e-mails as well. This particular client was VERY detail oriented and asked very specific questions to which Paul responded consistently and effectively. I was highly impressed by his knowledge of his industry, but more importantly the way he was able to communicate with the client was priceless. A true gem to your company. My only regret was that it took me this long to show my gratitude. Thank you, Paul! read more

Extraordinarily good company - have used them twice for mold inspections - both times with Jake Williams as the inspector. Jake is impressive - very thorough & knowledgeable as well as being kind and patiently answering all questions. Verbal results in 24 hours and detailed lab report in 4 days. I contacted VM3 to inspect my home after I observed a strong musty/moldy odor in a closet. VM3 came out the same day, was on time, and found the source of the odor (wet carpet and padding due to a leak from an adjacent bathroom). I would have gone crazy trying to find out what was causing the odor and am happy that I contacted VM3! The inspector was very polite, honest, and helped me to understand mold, how it grows, etc. I would definitely recommend VM3 Environmental, in fact I already have and my brother is using them to inspect a home that he is purchasing! read more

Fast and efficient. Very clean process. The tech carefully tested in each room in a place not too conspicuous. Good work!

I use VM3 for inspection services on some mold remediation work in my bathroom and was very pleased with their work. Andy is very professional, honest and thorough. He came out a couple of times to inspect the site, gave some good recomendations and made sure the work was done well. One of the great things about working with Andy is that he is very accessible and always willing to spend time to answer your questions and discuss the options with you. He also made himself available over the holidays at short notice so that I could get the work complete and begin my remodeling. Once the work was complete and the samples passed, Andy provided a comprensive clearance report with photos detailing the work that had been done and the final readings. read more

I called VM3 Environmental, Inc. to conduct an asbestos and led test in our kitchen after water leak resulted in flood damages. My call was taken very professionally by Tim (Project Coordinator) and due to heavy work overload and my request for speedy service, the company owner (Andy) himself had to respond to this work order. I was impressed with Andy's personality, his superior interpersonal skills and highly professional attitude. The test was performed promptly and the cost was very reasonable. I was recommended by Danny Boyd of Ceiling Specialists because I having the popcorn removed from my ceilings. I already knew there was asbestos but you have to go through the testing anyway. These guys are great! I had some mold in my house, so I had them out to test my walls for asbestos and lead, and then once another company remediated the mold, VM3 came in and tested the air for mold. This company is very professional and you can count on them to give you an accurate and honest assessment of the state of your property after water and or mold remediation services have been rendered. In our case, Ryan Decker of VM3 Environmental arrived and found an area that was not completely dry prior to the test, necessitating further work by the remediation company. VM3 demonstrated they are not a "rubber stamp" environmental testing company and we really appreciated their willingness to help hold the remediation company accountable even though it required VM3 to make two trips to our site. Once testing was complete, VM3 provided a very thorough report in a timely manner. VM3 is an excellent choice for post-remediation testing and their prices are quite reasonable as well. We chose them based on positive reviews on Yelp! and other sites and were not disappointed. read more
