I reached out to Ken to do a home inspection on a home I was buying. He made an appointment immediately within a couple days. He came on time and did an inspection and I had a timely report and of the issues he found. He also performed a sewer inspection with his assistant and found an issue that would not have been found if I didn't have the sewer inspected. Will definitely reach out to Ken to inspect our home as we need it!! Wonderful Customer Service and knowledgeable in everything in the house. Highly Recommend Ken!!! read more

Ken is wonderful and helped me out. He came next day and found several issues I was not expecting like a crack toilet tank and broken roof tiles. Will be using Ken next April for the one year. Thank you! read more

I recently moved into a new townhome community and hired Ken to be my third-party inspector to catch any issues beyond what we could identify during the standard blue tape walkthrough. Ken was extremely easy to book, responsive, and thorough. He identified a hairline crack in the garage floor which actually resulted in us getting an epoxy finish on the floor at no cost. His report was well-organized and comprehensive, and when I shared it with the builder, they addressed every item on the list. His service charge is very competitive. I'll definitely be hiring Ken again when my home warranty is approaching expiration. Highly recommend! read more

Easy to work with and very thorough. Lots of availability compared to other providers.

I reached out to Ken to schedule a a home inspection and sewer line scope. He was immediately able to fit me on the schedule a couple days out. Ken and Cole arrived early to start the inspection. As Cole set up the sewer scope, Ken was setting up the drone to inspect the roof. Cole was very informative in showing me what they look for in the sewer lines. They both then did a thorough inspection of the rear of the home, grabbing my attention when needed. The entire experience was very educational and efficient. Ken sent me the report on Monday morning -- clearly he worked on it over the weekend knowing I wanted to get through inspections promptly! The report was comprehensive, included recommendations, general thoughts, and plenty of photos. There were also videos of the sewer scope. I know that I have an ally the next time I need a home inspection and will be passing along Triton Hone Inspections to everyone I know! read more

I am a new homeowner as of 6 months ago. I used Triton for my home inspection in June 2025 and ever since taking ownership of the home I have been identifying several things that were problematic and should have been picked up during the home inspection. I am saddened and frustrated because if these were identified during a thorough home inspection I could have leveraged my contingencies to save myself thousands of dollars. Many of the issues that have arisen are not covered by my home warranty and I have been forced to pay out of pocket for these repairs. These were things that any professional should have been able to identify as they were very clearly not right. Wiring issues, rust issues, plumbing issues, and even fire hazards. None of the things that have subsequently errupted were noted on Triton's inspection report. This is super unfortunate because at the time I found it easy to schedule with Triton and their prices are competitive. But now I am regretting that I didnt spend a couple hundred bucks more for a better inspection. In my case I was apparently penny wise and pound foolish. I regret to say it but I can't recommend this company. For your own sake, make sure you get the most out of your home inspection and identify any issues while you have the chance!! If your report comes up light, get a second opinion! Thats what I should have done, it would have been worth the money read more

I'll start off by saying Kenneth's attention to detail is unmatched. He meticulously inspected every corner of the house, pointing out minor issues that would have been easily missed. He even used a drone to inspect the roof which was something I wouldn't imagine from an inspection. His thoroughness and clear explanations made the entire process smooth and stress-free. You can tell he takes pride in his work and truly cares about his clients. Highly recommend Kenneth for anyone looking for a reliable, precise, and professional home inspector with an exceptionally great value. read more

It requires a thoughtful, competent person to do thorough home inspections. Ken did a complete job and pointed out serious flaws at a beautifully remodeled and high priced house. I had already entered escrow by this time. He pointed out a cracked slab and a roof that was improperly installed (with solar panels on top.) The slab crack was mostly below pretty new flooring and cabinets. It could have turned into a serious flood if pipes broke inside the concrete. I've had it happen to the tune of $35,000. My real estate broker asked if that slab crack was a deal breaker and I said I'd like to review the complete report. When the defective roof was listed along with the crack, I decided it was too much to risk. So thanks Ken for doing exactly what I needed. I'll see you again soon. read more

We noticed a little bit of water damage in our master bath and started looking on Yelp right away to find someone to test for mold. We thought better be safe than sorry, get ahead before it gets too crazy. Right away we were in contact with 5 different companies and decided to use Triton Home Inspections. Kenneth was super responsive during our initial correspondence, I let him know my concerns and we were able to set up an appoint the next day. When he came out and inspected the damage, he let us know right away that it was not mold, just a little water damage and gave us ideas on repair. He didn't want us to waste our money by sending a sample to get tested and even offered to waive the inspection fee. BIG thank you to Triton Home Inspections. Would definitely recommend them. read more

Kenneth was excellent. We did inspection for our new home and he provided couple of points which needs to be worked with builder.

As a first time homebuyer in San Diego, what a home inspector does is vital. Our referral came from our agent, we then solidified our decision with Ken's Yelp reviews. We are so glad we went with Triton. Not only are his prices competitive, but what you get for the price is so much more! We have had two home inspections. The first was a home we had to back out of escrow, as on the surface it looked great, but once Ken went through his inspection he found so many issues that would have costed us thousands. He saved us from making a poor decision!! Our second home inspection was for a two story home built in 1914. Ken was able to inspect the issues of this unique home, as well as creatively using a drone to inspect the details of the roof. After his inspection he goes through his photos on the spot, which in this market time is of the essence. We got our full printable inspection the next day. He is prompt, on time and just an overall pleasure to work with. We can't recommended him enough! Thanks Ken! read more

The inspection was very smooth. But more importantly, Ken was very fast to respond to texts and calls after the inspection. This allowed my family and I to understand some of the finer details on what needed repairing in our contingency period. His technology is great with respect to how he provides the final report (i.e. a clean portal plus easy to understand area breakdowns: water, electrical, ..). Also, it was cool to see the roof analysis by his drone! Easily would recommend and use again. read more
