The team at A Better Home Inspection was referred to me by my Realtor Chris Powell, and I couldn't have asked for a more thorough, transparent, and professional crew to conduct my home inspection and talk me through the detailed understanding of the final analysis. This was my first time buying a home, and by nature I'm the kind of person that asks a ton of questions, especially if I don't understand something. I am not a smile and nod kind of customer. Knowing that about myself, I fully understand that I can be a bit overwhelming or even annoying when it comes to how meticulous I like to be with the details of any project. Elijah and Brandon were consummate professionals whom I would recommend to anyone. read more

After I used these guys, I got inundated with spam email and free offers. They signed me up for home services I didn't want. I really didn't expect that, and didn't have anything similar from any of my other contractors or service providers. read more

This is my 3rd time using a better home inspection. Each walkthrough has been thorough followed up by a detailed report. This time I paid for the floor plan add on and it's been a great tool as I review my remodel options. read more

5 stars for Brandon from A Better Home Insoection!! The company was recommended to us by our realtor and we are not dissapointed. Brandon did an amazing, thorough job on our new home inspection. He was extremely professional and spotted things that we would not have thought of looking at. He answered all our questions patiently and took the time to go over the report in detail with us afterward. We feel very comfortable moving forward knowing exactly what we are buying. Just had an inspection done by Joe from A better home inspection. I have to thank our realtor for using A better home inspection. Definitely worth the bucks. The service that Joe provided with his inspection was amazing. He was highly professional and knew everything there is to know about a home. There wasn't anything that he missed with his inspection. Very thorough and detailed. I was even surprised with some things that he found that I didn't know was an issue. Thank you for your good work Joe and thank you A better home inspection for the immaculate job. Oh and thanks for the avocados! Can't wait to make avocado toast with them. Haha read more

Fantastic customer service. This business performed two home inspections on my behalf as a sight unseen buyer from afar. Unable to access either of the properties, I was fully reliant on their expertise to help guide my decision and thanks to them, I actually backed out of escrow based on one of the properties based on 35 findings, many of which were safety related. I also needed these home inspections done rather quickly and they made themselves available within one day of my request. They are very thorough, provide highly detailed reports and even went as far as to FaceTime me to summarize their findings. They also offer discounts for repeat customers. Highly, highly recommended. read more

As a realtor, I can assure you that this is it! I just wish they could go further all the way to OC. Joe is absolutely the best inspector you can find out there. He is very detailed oriented , very patient and highly knowledgeable about a home. Thank you A better home inspection for the amazing service and of course ,avocados and cute plushie. They just become my no 1 choice !! read more

I had two homes inspected on the same day and A Better Home Inspection did a terrific job at a great price. Online scheduling was a breeze. The office staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The inspector arrived early to drone the property, was courteous, answered all my questions along the way and took the time to ensure the inspection was thorough and well documented. He carried all the tools needed for a complete inspection on his toolbelt for easy access. Their use of automated systems made a typically burdensome process very efficient. Online scheduling, online review and approval of documents, and online payments were a snap. The inspector collected all information via a mobile app which made the reporting well documented and immediate. I was very pleased with their service and am glad to recommend them. Keep up the great work! read more

I had my soon-to-be home inspected today by Joe! What a thorough inspector! Very professional, patient, and knowledgeable about his profession. I was only able to attend the last 20 min. of my inspection, but Joe took the extra time to not only go over the report, but he walked me through the home to point out and show me his findings withing the report. Great job, Joe! Thanks for caring about the client and going that extra step for me! We even did a picture with their Avacado mascot and he gifted us real avacados! What a great experience! We found A Better Home Inspection by looking to Yelp reviews, which were many and glowing. Rightly so. Joe was our inspector, and he was actually early and got some visuals done before we even arrived. During the course of the inspection, he was extremely thorough, professional and communicative. He explained what he was going to do and how. After the inspection, we had our report within moments as Joe took the time to patiently walk us through it. I've bought houses before, and he was easily the best inspector I've ever worked with. At the end of the inspection, we took pictures and he gave us avocados (it's a Fallbrook thing). The report itself was well-presented and easy to understand, and came with a follow-up program to assess the extent and cost of potential repairs. Amazing! The final bill was consistent with those of other inspectors, but in truth it was a value, because I feel like we got more for the money (our agent said likewise). We would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking to buy a home in the area use A Better Home Inspection, and don't forget to ask for Joe! read more

Elijah was wonderful to work with! Timely, extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and very communicative. Highly recommend this company! Thank you, Elijah! read more

Special thanks to Marco Corona for inspecting my new home. He was fast, efficient, and informative. He made sure to not just go over his findings/report but he was also very informative on what I could do to fix any discrepancies. I never felt like he was in a rush to just "get the job done". Before leaving he made sure to ask if I had any more questions or concerns. I gotta say his customer service skills were OUTSTANDING! I really appreciate it! read more

Brent was extraordinary in his explanation of the entire process of home inspection, down to every detail he categorically noted and put in priority order, with health and safety as the top priority, of course. But with my life so busy right now, it's wonderful to have a list of priorites created for me by an honest and true professional. I can't say enough about Brent. Thank you !!!! read more

I called A Better Home Inspection because I wanted an independent inspector, rather than a roofing company, to inspect my roof to determine whether I need to replace the roofing. Marco, who previously worked in the roofing industry for many years, thoroughly inspected my roof using both a drone and his own observations. He also looked in the attic for signs of leakage. After the inspection, he took the time to explain to me the condition of my roof and my options, and provided me with a complete report, including many photographs. He was personable and professional and provided me with a lot of valuable information regarding roofing. read more

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the professional home inspection Marco conducted for us. We never anticipated encountering issues in our house, so your detailed and insightful inspection was eye-opening and very helpful. Your expertise has been incredibly valuable ( Marco was able to point out the issue on the roof that roofing companies couldn't tell) and we appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to this process. (Yes, he was very present and on time) In addition, the inspection summary has given us a clearer picture of our home's condition and have set us on the right path to repair process. The summary report was uploaded to the online and we received it instant. Thanks again Marco for coming out twice to do the additional inspections! read more

We were recommended this company by our realtor, since we are currently in the process of buying a house. From the introductory email to the final report, everything was so quick, easy, and very transparent. Mark was our inspector and while we were going over his report, which was VERY detailed, he was very knowledgeable and helpful telling us about what he found, and what he recommends we do. Even though we just did the regular home inspection, I definitely trust this company to do more detailed inspections for us in the future. We are so glad our realtor suggested this company, as they have made our first home buying process, so much easier. Thank you so much again, Mark!! read more
