He takes the time to answer every question and explain his findings in a way that gives you confidence instead of overwhelming you. His reports are detailed, but his real value is helping you make sense of them. Buying a home is stressful, but with Tom on your side, you can rest easy. He's got you. I wouldn't buy another home without him. Ever!!! Can't recommend him highly enough.

All Pro Property Inspections was kind enough to let our realtor do a video follow up for us in addition to the extremely detailed report with attached photos and explanations. The price for the inspection seemed more than reasonable and we received timely follow-up afterward. I see someone previously complained that their inspector was nit-picky about items in the house - that is literally their job! Our inspector was incredibly detailed and noted every tiny thing that might need repair or review. I appreciated knowing all we can about the home - you can choose to act on what is reported or not. I would absolutely recommend All Pro Property Inspections and would use them again if we needed it.

This was my first time buying a home, and by nature I'm the kind of person that asks a ton of questions, especially if I don't understand something. I am not a smile and nod kind of customer. Knowing that about myself, I fully understand that I can be a bit overwhelming or even annoying when it comes to how meticulous I like to be with the details of any project. I followed up with the inspector afterward to clarify the estimated cost of repairs and crafts required. Recommended.

Don't Use choice Home Inspections. Waste of money, costing me money. I expected a LOT MORE FOR THE…read moremoney. The report is long, but most of it is explaining things about parts of the house, not about the specific house he was hired to inspect. Most of the items he writes in the report "Get a Roofer, get a plumber, get an electrian, get an HVAC guy." So I paid close to a 1,000 dollars spent; and I had to hire an electrcian, and HVAC guy and a roofer to come out and re-inspect the house and pay more money. The scope of his work, is so fast, and vague, and he won't put his own opinion in the report, so what good is it to have? Moreover, he writes in the report, "Some of the outlets aren't grounded. Some of the GFI's don't work." He doesn't test each and every outlet in house, or garage, nor did he test on outlet outside the back door that the electrician found was tripped. He told me verbally in regards to the sewer camera scope he used: scalle it and to put a liner in it, but didn't put it in the report. He also stepped on a piece of wood in the attic instead of on the beams--as the roofer who came out after him, said he should have done, and he wouldn't have made a huge hole in the living room ceiling. He fixed the opening in the ceiling so poorly himself, instead of hiring professional drywall people, that it looks awful, you can see the taping and the mis-match in texture. I would not use Mark at all!!!! Oh, in additioon, the seller is holding out the deposit, because of the awful patch and paint job Mark did.

HERE WE GO!!! I took one for the team and learned a lesson in a bad way. But at least now you don't…read moreneed to go through with what I went through. I have pics for proof and a bad experience to tell. We can all agreed that you should never pick the first contractor or professional service you encounter. You should get at least 3 or 4 quotes then decide who's best for the services and costs. That is why I love Yelp; you can send out a multiple request for FREE ESTIMATES and that's what I did. Choice Home Inspections owner called me, his name is Mark. I asked about the free estimate and he went around my question and said if he has to do a mold testing then I would have to pay for it otherwise he can do a visual inspection and let me know whether or not if it's an actual mold infestation building on my back patio. I took that as a yes to the free quote. I never pay for quotes especially if I'm looking to get 3 to 4 quotes. All companies I deal with on Yelp quote me on what they see and how much it would costs to fix so I assumed it would be the same for this company. I shouldn't have assumed and I should've asked him the same question again about the free quote knowing he went around my question. He said in order to come over to my house, I needed to sign paperwork online which seems odd since I've never had to do that before. EVERYONE, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERWORK so that they can pencil you into their schedule. That's how they hook you and now you have a binding contract. My careless mistake, so please don't make that yours. Anyways long story short, his work on assessing the mold is really good but this is about his shady character. The day after, he texted me that the report is done. I wasn't sure at first what report he was talking about since he never ran any test. He just looked at it and told me, yes that's mold. That's when he told me that I have to pay him. I asked him " I thought it was for a free quote?" and he said he never said it was free. That's because he went around my question, sneaky guy! He then said give me $100 for my service then later changed his mind charged me $350 which was $100 off the original price. He was nasty saying he said it twice that it would be $100 off but if you read the text, he only said it once. I'm not gonna argue with him at that point cuz he seemed very prideful. I told him to come back and give me a proper mold testing. AGAIN, I DID THE WORK FOR YOU, DONT DEAL WITH THIS SHADY GUY that has little reviews. Go with a company with many reviews.
