The price for the inspection seemed more than reasonable and we received timely follow-up afterward. I see someone previously complained that their inspector was nit-picky about items in the house - that is literally their job! Brian P came to do an inspection I paid for at a house we were buying. He initially brushed the concern off. Apparently a series of cracks and a gradient in a 5 year old house isn't concerning. What really made Brian unprofessional was his sharing of the summary and conclusions with the listing agent! Excuse me, I am the one paying, not the listing agent. Never in my 7 years of real estate experience have I seen someone I hire give information out for free...to a separate party no less! Very well, here is my update to the review: First, what are you talking about the seller is entitled to the report? The inspection company has no legal grounds to share anything from the report with the seller, since the buyer paid for it. Now we know your company improperly trains all its inspectors, since you do not understand California law around inspection reports. Second, your formal response to my feedback reflects the overall attitude from the inspector as well: dismissive, arrogant, reckless. It is becoming more apparent that simple SEO and branding are your business model, not listening to the voice of the customer--everyday Americans trying to get by. Finally, I sincerely hope you address this matter and improve employee training. Boy, was I thankful that I found Rich on Google, as he saved me thousands of dollars in potential issues that were completely missed by the other inspection company... It turns out that the previous inspection company did not even get under the crawl space and missed about $5-10k+ in plumbing repairs that were actively leaking, and Rich really saved our bacon. Also, in comparing the reports, Rich's report was also much more thorough and provided diagrams with red arrows and circles on all of the main issues - It was night and day better than the other company's report. When I initially called Rich, I could immediately tell that he was not only knowledgeable, but he was extremely genuine and easy to talk to - Rich truly cares about his profession and goes out of his way in order to make sure that you're being represented fairly... Rich was LEAPS and BOUNDS better than the other inspection company and is also a Certified CREIA Inspector which is huge. In addition, Rich did a full walkthrough with us on the property and took as much time as we needed to help us know that the property was mechanically sound - He also was available at any time to take my calls and was able to get out there within 24hrs, but also had the report over to us within 24hrs of completion which was AMAZING!! Purchasing a home is the LARGEST financial decision that you will make and you want to have a stand-up guy like Rich in your corner, as you can't leave anything to chance...
