Cabinets, drawers, and closets were left wide open, the heating and cooling system was turned off without permission, and items were moved and left out of place. It looked like a tornado had swept through. After a three-hour inspection, he left the property in disarray with zero regard for cleanliness or respect. On top of that, he was rude, dismissive, and carried himself with a complete lack of professionalism. His report was full of vague, unverified claims and speculation. In several places, he stated that certain elements were "not up to code"--but failed to cite any specific code or regulation. This kind of language is not only misleading, it's irresponsible and unhelpful. If you're going to make a claim that something violates building code, it's basic professionalism to include the actual reference. If you're looking for a home inspector who is respectful, thorough, and fact-based, do not use this one. This was a disruptive, disappointing experience from start to finish.

The day I contacted Jeff, he emailed the agreement which I signed and sent back to him and he confirmed with me that he received it. The day of inspection, Jeff showed up on time as promised and I met him about halfway through his inspection. He answered all of my questions and concerns and very upfront about the condition of the home.
