I have to let you guys know about this man! He is as good as it gets! First a little about me. I am a real estate broker in San Diego so I know how important a property inspection is. When I am representing a buyer I want to know ASAP if there are any issues that could potentially be a show stopper. I work hard to get the inspection done the first week escrow opens. Now Jeff, I called to schedule 2 appointments within a couple days notice. He is punctual and professional. He has all the equipment needed and doesn't waist a moment. He goes through the house like a forensic detective investigating a homicide (sorry I love cop dramas). If there is a wire missing or the water doesn't heat to the right temp he will find it! He is extremely thorough and goes above the call of duty. What do I mean by that? He is so thoughtful he brought a chair for me to relax in while he worked and a cooler full of ice cold drinks. Jeff inspected my home today and I definitely recommend him to everyone! This is my first home, and I don't really know much about the ins and outs of a home.. Furnace, water heater, gas valves, circuit breaker.. Whaa?! Jeff did an extremely thorough job, I am very impressed. I watched him touch everything, test everything and climb into small spaces. And he went above and beyond to explain things to me and made sure I understood what everything was. Also, he pointed out a lot of safety items that were excellent to find out. Jeff did a home sale inspection, which included inspections of the roof, sub-floor, general home condition, and appliances. A full report with pictures was included with the inspection. Jeff is thorough, professional and courteous. His meticulousness in inspecting the home was instrumental in providing evidence for acquiring seller repair credits. It was not a rush job, as I have heard some inspectors do. He took the time to inspect every accessible nook and cranny of the house, and he provided an objective opinion on the condition as well as a suggested repair. He communicates well, and answered all of my questions. I understand he might not have been the cheapest inspector around, but the quality of his work and thorough report was well worth the few extra bucks, which in fact saved me abundantly more. Jeff (aka MrInspectorMan) was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm in the process of buying my first home and decided to have Jeff do the inspection after calling around San Diego for other inspectors. Jeff was able to do the inspection with very short notice, and I'm thankful that he did. Home buying can be a stressful time, but Jeff helped make this transition into my first home as smooth as possible. During the entire inspection, I felt that my condo was in great hands. Jeff did an excellent job and he treated my new condo like it was his own home. At the end of the inspection, he explained to us the major issues that he found and offered his recommendations. Everything he told us was written up in a full report the next day. Jeff wrote the report in a timely manner (25+ pages completed on a Friday night). To me this shows how dedicated Jeff is at his job and his responsibility to home owners. The report is very easy to read, it's full of informative information, and he took some great pictures as well. Amazing service! First I want to say that Jeff is very communicative via phone, text and email. All his pricing is exactly as shown on his website with no hidden charges or 'processing' fees...this means no surprises when you go to pay. The day I contacted Jeff, he emailed the agreement which I signed and sent back to him and he confirmed with me that he received it. The day of inspection, Jeff showed up on time as promised and I met him about halfway through his inspection. He answered all of my questions and concerns and very upfront about the condition of the home. This was extremely useful - and was an assuring vote for me to pull out from buying that house.
