The staff was very nice at first but I had to wait 35 minutes for my appointment because only one gal could do an ombré dip. It looked ok at first other than some of my old black dip showing through that wasn't entirely removed..but then a couple days later I started getting a lot of lifting and my nails would get stuck in my hair..I hate that feeling!! I wouldn't complain if it were a couple weeks, but days?? So I went back after 5 days only to get attitude. I also didn't like how spotty the white was - it was uneven and bumpy (difficult to see in pics). She told me that's normal. Um, no it's not! I've been getting dip regularly for a few years and ombré several times. The application was different from what I've gotten in the past, but I decided to give it a chance. She applied it as if I was getting the old school acrylic nails. A true ombré dip is not done this way. Upon trying to fix, she ground my nails thinner which left them more opaque. Such a crappy job, I'll never go here again and have told my friends. read more

Came in for a fill. The man with no teeth filed all of my gel acrylic off, I didn't say anything because I thought he knew what he was doing. As he applied the wet acrylic onto my nails I noticed he was not filling all of the nails with the same thickness. The corners of my nails were exposed and could have led to the nail chipping. I pointed it out to him and he got very upset with me and said he couldn't fix it and that he doesn't know what I am talking about. In the midst of it all, I tried to explain that I wasn't trying to cause and issue or upset him.. only that I didn't want to have to come back prematurely due to super thin corners chipping. The toothless man was so rude that I began to cry. I was then passed onto the owner, who immediately understood my concern and corrected the problem. While having my nails fixed by the owner, he began to tell me about his political stand point and call other women "wh*res" as well as women need to let men lead. Horrible. I've been here a few times but as in today for a mani/pedi and horribly disappointed. The technician was not engaging, my nails were not painted fully and thankfully she left the bottle of polish near me as I was awaiting my nails to dry and I attempted to clean up. The customer service is non-existent and my toddler niece could have done a better job,. You may think fifty dollars is not much but when you have to clean up and hopefully, find another locale that will re-do and re-invest funds last minute and limited time available (I have an important event in the next few days), just do not waste your time nor money. Horrible. I have nail polish on my knuckles and texture on my skin that a pedicure is to perfect and that YOU invest in. I absolutely recommend not coming here so please do not. read more

Since ownership changed from Kim to Steve, the salon has gone down hill fast. As soon as you walk in, the owner is outside the front door smoking. The restroom is filthy, stains on the walls, horrible. Had a pedicure and manicure. Made an appointment, waited for 20 minutes, the job was done by the owners wife. I had to go to another salon to have this redone. Cuticles were not cut, calloues not done, nails crooked. I would not recommend. Will not be going back. read more

I have no idea how this place is rated #1 in the area, my only hope is I just got the one bad tech (Cindy) Tonight I wasted 2 hours of my time getting a sub par 20 min pedicure and a hour & 25 min awful dip manicure. The missing 15 min was waiting for the tech to take a break in between. (I was her only appointment). Why the dip nail took so long is beyond me, they are awful. The nails are patchy, uneven and I have dip on my skin still. I never do anything for myself anymore, super sad I wasted my time and money here. read more

Would not recommend. The gentleman who did my daughters nails was rude and sick. He didn't wear a mask and he kept coughing and sneezing into his hands and then grabbed my daughters hands to finish working on her nails. He didn't put hand sanitizer on or wash his hands. I'm not sure why I didn't say anything while I was there but it was very unsanitary. He even was rough and cut my daughters thumb with his long nail as he was digging in around her natural nail. My first time to this nail salon, to be honest my first time getting my nails done in a few years. Needless to say I walked in, which did not seem to bother these ladies, second I dislike having the electric file used on my nails, the manicurist who did my nails did use the file but she filed so little you could barely tell and she was extremely gentle. She took her time and asked me periodically if I liked how it looked. As I was drying my nails I messed them up and she very nicely fixed my nails for me. All the manicurists here are very pleasant they spoke English yes they also spoke their language, it was very nice to go to a nail salon and be able to laugh and talk with all the manicurists and not feel uncomfortable or rushed, not to mention its very clean. I went to get a full set coffin shape nails and my nails turned out being square not coffin although I was charged for coffin and some were longer than others so I fixed them at home myself. Could not stay because I had to run I was going to go back and get them reshaped but they are closed Sunday's. On one had my nails are curved and my other hand they are flat, not sure how that happened. These might be minor issues to some But since I'm a perfectionist with my nails it bugs me. read more

Went today for a set of fill it was my 2nd time there. First time I was happy they weren't perfect but looked nice. They were very quick and not much for chatter. Today my experience was absolutely horrible! After getting my fills from the male tech I asked him to repair a nail that was pulling away from the acrylic that I had just gotten done and paid for. There was zero acrylic on the spot that was pulling away then his solution was just to add some glue to it. Upon further inspection I noticed all my nails were pulling away I asked him and he says he loves it because if he does anything to the tops water will get under. Then processed to tell me if I didn't like them I could have my money back although he wanted to keep the tip lol. He was insulting and rude. Then to top it all off he wanted to sit and trash talk me to new clients walking in. I was so disappointed I peeled them off in about 5 minutes and went down to classy nails had a great tech and my nails look amazing!!! read more

The people were friendly, but not only did they do a terrible job with the dip polish, but it took an hour and a half AND it was extremely unsanitary. She (Cindy) didn't give me a manicure to start, so my hands/cuticles were super dry and gross. When she was filing down the dip, she accidentally cut one of my hang nails open because it was so dry and rough. Instead of pausing for the blood to stop she put it rubbing alcohol on it, followed by nail glue--without even asking if that would be okay to do. Blood and all, she continued to dip my nails into the container that was used for others as well. Several times she asked if they looked good and I had to show her what to fix....it was a terrible experience for dip--but the other people in there getting shellac seemed to be regulars who frequented, so maybe they should stick to that! The first time I stopped in to JNS Nails I went in blind. I wanted a quick manicure that wouldn't break the bank. This was the perfect place. I came in and was asked to pick my polish and sit right away. I was taken care of by Sophie. She explained what services they offered and the price differences just to give me options. I appreciated her taking the time to do that since I was new to the place. Sophie did a great job giving me a standard manicure so much so that I went back a week and a half later to do it again. My only criticism was that she didn't scrape under my nails so I had to ask her to do it. I just figured that was something that was always done but if I hadn't asked I would've felt like I didn't get a proper manicure. One thing to note is that although they accept credit cards you can NOT tip on one if you use it. Make sure you bring cash to tip. I made that mistake my first time and Sophie was so understanding about me not having cash. I tried getting money out at the ATM next door but for some reason my card wouldn't work and instead of changing her attitude toward me she kept saying it was no problem and that it was ok. Because of that I made sure to come back and see her again so I could make up for it. read more

Went here to get my nails done the day before my wedding. It was very easy to book with them and they are accommodating if you need to reschedule or come in last minute. I got my nails done here this week and my nails turned out amazing, unfortunately if you are a woman I would recommend requesting a female nail tech. My nail tech was an older man in the shop, and he made multiple rape jokes and sexist jokes that made me extremely uncomfortable. Regardless if you find it offensive or not, it is extremely unprofessional to speak this way in the workplace. I am not sure if I will be returning to the shop. read more

Coming here for the first time I expected to get nails to what I paid for!! I called and asked how much a gel dip is and the owner answered that it would be $40 maximum for short nails. I went in and received extremely short nails because he decided to keep shortening by polishing when I asked for a specific length which was a little longer. The owner said it was too late to adjust so I said it was okay. He then sent me to get my nails colored by a lady who took literally 2 minutes and kept messing them up! I repeated nicely to correct each nail, but she was rude about it! Then I went in to pay and the lady said $55. I was shocked because I thought it would be $40 or less like the guy said but they over charged me! I was intimidated to pay whatever they asked because during the time the owner was doing my nails he kept throwing in comments like " people come and ask for a certain shape, but if I do things differently, the customer has to pay no matter what." These comments were unnecessary and uncomfortable!! The owner also jokes way too much which also made it very uncomfortable!! I hate going to these places, so for me to say something nice should tell you something. Getting ready for grandson's slightly formal wedding and wanted manicure & pedicure with polish not all over my cuticles. LOL! Not only did Cindy do a great job, but the place was IMMACULATE and another person was carefully dismantling each pedicure station and cleaning every inch if it including hoses and things we never see. Went here last minute after work during the evening (5:00pm) last week. I was looking to get a pedicure and manicure. They were not too busy, very accommodating and friendly. I'm not sure of the lady who did my nails,she was older but she was very nice and they did not over charge me. I wish I saw a sign that you cannot tip on credit card, thankfully they let me write a personal check for the tip since I did not have any cash on me. Great job and very clean. This place is terrible. I thought at first that Tina did a good job on my nails. But after a couple days they started breaking just from me doing everyday stuff, cleaning, typing on the computer. Then she did my pedicure and that was a total disappointment. She didn't trim my cuticles, she just pushed them down. And left tons of dead skin on the bottom of my feet.
