We had the BEST experience at Paradise Nail for Isabel's nails! From the second we walked in, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely excited for her. They made is feel so special and her nails turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL. What really stood out to me was how thoughtful they were -- they even invited me to relax in a massage chair while Isabel got pampered, which honestly made the whole experience feel so fun and luxurious for both of us. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. I would not recommend for walk-ins unless you request a specific nail tech. Unfortunately I have had 2 experiences that I had to return to fix my nails (shellac manicure with builder). Most recently, the gel wasn't cured adequately so my nails were peeling/cracking off within a few hours. I returned to get them fixed and they repaired 2 nails on each hand. Now the rest of them are cracking/peeling off a day later. Wasted time and money. read more

We have been here many times. We always booked an appointed for a mani -pedi this time with Kim. However , the last 3 visits I not my wife had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time not because they were busy but because the took a walk-in right at my time. I hate to think this was an anti male thing ( however what else could it be ) .Finally the amount of time spent on me was less then half of time on my wife and our cost was the same. Subpar job on my dip nails. She didn't get my whole nail, leaving them looking like they are a week grown out the day I got them done. Color is uneven from nail to nail due to her not evenly applying the dip. She was nice, I just don't think she could see very well to do a good job. A towel under my hands on the table would have been nice and more sanitary so my hands weren't sitting on the dirty table with all the dust and debris while she did them. Was joined by a friend. Well. I took a chance on this salon as I had an event coming up this weekend. I asked for the first photo shape (almond) and the same length. I asked for a full set with shellac and was told dip powder was better so to try that. I said okay fine. As you can see the nails are more pointed like stiletto nails and not almond shaped, and they are so wavy and so thick and ugly. I felt my boyfriend might propose this weekend which was the reason for the nails. I would be mortified if these end up being my engagement nails. Avoid this place at all costs. It was NOT sanitary either and they dipped my finger in the entire jar of dip instead of putting into a new dish for my fingers and mine only. When she did the color she put it in a used dish, and after finishing my nails poured it right back in the bottle. I paid $53 for the dip not including the tip and it looks like a 2 year old did my nails. I immediately when home and trimmed them and shaped them on my own BEWARE! read more

Literally the worst salon, they over book. I had an apt for 4pm and by 4:30 they told me they were to busy to fix ONE NAIL. Took everyone after me but didn't have time to fix one nail. Unreliable . Surprised there's even good reviews. I told them they lost my service and the man said "thank you" how rude. So many people were complaining. Absolutely horrible. I walked in for the first time to get a full set of acrylic nails and the guy did not say ONE WORD to me the whole time. He kept sighing while he was doing it as well, it was so beyond fast he didn't take any time doing a decent job. It was a very awkward, quiet, and dirty atmosphere. They seemed to only want my money, I paid before they even painted my nails (I'm not sure if that's normal, but I thought it was rude because they rushed it so much). I will never return. I went to Paradise Nails on Friday of last week. It is now Wednesday (5 days have passed). I had asked a coworker if she had any recommendations on where to get nails done in the area. She had said she had heard good things about Paradise Nails so I decided to give it a try. I came in for a full set of gel nails. When I got my nails done, the woman repeatedly cut me. At first my fingers weren't bleeding, so instead of watching her, I turned my head toward the television to take my mind off of the pain. When I looked back, four of the fingers on my right hand (everything but the thumb) had blood all around my cuticles. The next time she cut me, on my left hand, I said "Ouch". She took it a little easier then, but I don't know why I had to say something before she realized that she was cutting me. There was blood all over my hands. When I went to pay, I noticed she had blood stains from my bleeding all over the inside of her hand as she took my credit card. I had already decided at this point that I wouldn't be back. It has now been five days since my manicure and I absolutely would not return. My left thumb nail has completely broken off, my left middle finger and right ring finger have cracks down the middle, and my right pinky finger's nail is starting to come up around the edges. For the amount that I paid ($30) and the pain that I endured, I would expect my nails to last AT LEAST a week. I am beyond disappointed. read more

I stopped into this place on a whim looking to get my shellac manicure removed ($5) and my nails ($7) and toes ($12) painted with regular polish. I had to wait ~20-30 minutes as a walk-in but I didn't mind as they seemed busy with appointments. The staff is polite but the service is sub-par. I was asked to soak my nails in acetone for my shellac removal while my toes got painted. However, I don't think anybody was keeping track of how long my fingers were in the bowl because after a while the shellac on my fingers had shrunken so much that it became painful. I took my nails out of the bowl on my own. I also politely asked the technician to push the cuticles on my toes back a little bit because it tends to grow over the nail. She informed me that doing so would upgrade me to a pedicure for $30+! The polish turned out well. However, even after hours (!) of being careful with my nails, they were still getting chipped and dented. It never seemed to dry. I went back the next day and the same technician was happy to repaint my nails at no charge. Overall, the place isn't *terrible*. I am extremely meticulous with my nails though, and they didn't give me the results I was looking for. I would only return for a quick polish change if I was in a rush. For a Saturday afternoon during homecoming season, I expected to have a bit of wait as I walked in without an appointment. Every technician was with a client when my daughter and I walked in, but more staff was called up from the back and was already waiting for us by the time we had picked our colors.
