After returning for a 4th time in 2 weeks, I FINALLY had my nails soaked off and a new set put, costing another $40. Very very upset and annoyed it took 4 visits to get a new set of nails put on and costing over $230 total. The vibe was not good, as I was annoyed at how much time in the 4 visits I have wasted. Via the photos, the white nails was the set they just kept adding super glue to and the chrome pink is the brand new set. Not even an hour after my apt. today, the chrome is already starting to come off. read more

So happy with my nails by Kia! I love the atmosphere, and I just couldn't get over how much I loved my nails and how pretty they looked!

I wanted to vouch for Kia's nails since the reviews here seem so negative. I love going to Kia's. I see Kia, Paige, or Sam and they are all SO talented. Kia owns the salon and always does a wonderful job and will always get me in. I've gotten tons of sets here with different shapes, designs, etc. My requests are always accommodated. I can't say enough good things about this place I've been a regular for over a year and will always come back read more

This is the first time i've been to a nail salon in 3 years since i started doing my own and after this experience i will never go to a nail salon again this is unacceptable. Staff is friendly but the pedicure was not worth the money I paid, $55 for gel to be on my skin and not cover my full nail.. no thank you read more

I needed a new nail place. I decided to try Kia's nails. I was pleasantly surprised not only were the people genuine and friendly, they did a great job on my nails. I have had no problems with my skin breaking out like I did at the last nail place I went to. This place is extremely clean they do the most amazing artwork on your nails and do not charge you an arm and a leg for it. I highly recommend Kia's nails to anyone that wants awesome looking nails with compliments all the time. Not only that, I called at the last minute and Kia was able to get me in with Paige the day before Thanksgiving which is unheard of. I would give this place 11 Stars if I could their service is unbeatable. I'm so glad I have this place to go to now. Thanks Kia & Paige read more

Well, where do I begin? My recent visit to Kia's Nails was quite the experience. Not only did the owner feel the need to interrogate me about my granddaughter's past negative encounter, but she also had the audacity to verbally accost me. Talk about crossing boundaries! I mean, last time I checked, I was there for eyebrow services, not to be lectured on my family's Yelp reviews. Normally I go to her sister, Kita for nails. She has always given me a great service, very personable and Iove my nails everytime I leave. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Adios, Kia! read more

I was provided half a pedicure because the front desk lady there is the rudest most passive aggressive, disrespectful woman I have ever met in my life. When my friend and I (black women) came in around noon, we had been told by her that we could walk into the appointment, which they then proceeded to have us wait for 20 minutes, which is fine. We asked to run to the gas station which is five minutes away since it is taking that long, she told us no and we returned to our seats. When we were first addressed as girls(not ladies), I didn't hear her so she rudely screamed at us. Then proceeded to have me sit in an empty tub for my pedicure, and have my friend wait another 45 minutes. Since my friend had been waiting for so long, I asked politely "if these are the only people working today." She responds with " Yeah, why you wanna work?" at that point I tipped the woman who did my 1 foot for my pedicure and I got out of there and left. Before leaving I was willing to even pay for half of the pedicure, but she rudely told me that I could leave. From the first to the last second in that shop, the front desk lady was disappointing and left both my friend and I dissatisfied. read more

I went to Kia's Nails because the salon was referred to me by Kia's {not the owner) sister. I walked in and saw the nail techs were busy, so I sat down and began to select a color from the gel selection. I observed client and tech interaction and realized I was invisible, so I got up and left. I've noticed that people of color have little value in these shops. The techs acted as if I wasn't even there, very poor customer service. read more

Not my normal nail spot, but a couple friends and I wanted to be able to walk-in and get our nails done for prom. I had a friend recommend this place to me, and her nails always look really good. So a week ahead I had called and asked how much it would be to get a fill, and I was told $20. With all the nail techs busy, it was about an hour and a half wait walking in but I did notice some regulars no appointment were being taken ahead of us. Kia was my nail tech and she told me my nail design is "harder than you think" and wasn't making the experience ideal with certain comments like these. I'm pretty easygoing and I can lighten up a conversation and I consider myself a nicer person because I can understand some customers are intolerable and I work with people all day as well. But from other reviews that i've read, I hear she isn't very friendly. The salon was not the cleanest, but that doesn't bother me as much as it might bother other people. My nails turned out very pretty and just the shape I wanted but for a fill with gel polish it was $60... triple the amount I was told but that also included gel polish and a nail design, so not terrible pricing but there is not a price wall posted, which I thought was quite weird. Mind you they only accept cash. I left satisfied but wish the customer service and experience was better! Besides that Kia did a great job. read more

Kia is AMAZINGGG! Highly HIGHLY recommend her! She was recommended by a friend after I got my nails done at another local salon that jacked my nails up after I asked for something specific, not hard, but specific (I wanted extra short almond acrylics) After that guy finished with my nails (after feeling like he rushed the whole process and pushed me to pay before they were even done) they were super bulky from too much acrylic, poorly polished (you could see the polish strokes), looked so awkward, and just poorly executed like from an inexperienced tech. I was so disappointed because I was going to try on engagement rings the next day, and also, I'm a good tipper and tipped that guy good thinking he would do a better job (I'm too nice). The next morning I went to Kia's as a walk in and wow did she deliver! She removed the acrylic from the day before without damaging my nails and did EXACTLY what I asked! I was beyond happy and became a customer for life! I never felt like she was rushing the process or for me to pay like every other salon. I got so many compliments on my nails (from both women and men!), and honestly made my engagement ring shopping an even better experience! You can just walk in if you don't feel like making an appointment (because all of the techs do great work) Or, you can call ahead of time and request her specifically, either way you won't be disappointed by the work of the techs there! read more

0 out of 5 stars i was referred to this salon and decided to try it out . they were twenty minutes late, i asked chenda for a design and she said she couldn't do it and i would have to wait even longer. i said that was fine and to continue on my french manicure i asked for glitter on my ring finger and she said she couldn't do that . this was how they turned out clear and see through horrific for 60 dollars . i came back the next day to get them re done and they were very rude i asked for a re fund and they said no , owner did not ask if i was happy with them or say sorry instead she blamed the situation on me. the nails look even worse then before and this place is awful nobody talks to their client and very overcrowded and late to almost all clients now i have to go spend more money fixing what they did read more

I always forget how annoying and rude these people are. They're always so tense and angry and I get it but it's so stressful getting my nails done there. Don't get me wrong the nail technicians are very talented here but this business is ran poorly. I was told to come back two days in a row and still couldn't get any service. read more

I've been going to Chenda who is a very talented nail tech that works at Kia Nails for quite some time. It's so disappointing the way this business is run. Because of the poor customer service I've received, I no longer will do business with them. I had my nails done Dec 18th and I made my next appointment for December 31st (New Years Eve) I wanted to make a 10am appointment with Chenda for NYE but Kia said no. I would have to come at 1pm and Kia herself had me write my name and phone number in her appointment book for 1pm NYE I arrived at 12:45, There were many ladies there. I didn't see Chenda but thought she would be in soon or was on break. Kia had her son take my shellac polish off while I waited. After 45 minutes of patiently waiting and being overlooked while Kia and the other employees finish up and took other ladies to their chairs I mention to Kia I have an appointment for 1pm with Chenda. Kia said " Chenda decided to go to Key West for Vacation, someone else will help me. Kia also said 1st come 1st served. I was at this establishment for 2 1/2 hours for a fill in with shellac polish. Kia should have called me to let me know Chenda was out of town if she could not accommodate my appointment. That's not the only issue. I noticed 3 hours after I returned home from Kia's that my thumb nail was already chipped. Shellac is to last 2 weeks or more. I called that evening and left a message to explain I'll be in on Monday for a repair on my thumb. Monday when I arrived the business was closed, yet I was told they would be open Monday. I came back Tuesday, Kia had a client so I asked if I should return in an hour, she agreed. When I returned I waited approximately 15 minutes for kia to finish her client. Once finished she took another client instead of fixing my thumb nail that would take 5 minutes. At that point I left. It's the last straw. I alway make a future appointment before I leave this establishment. In the past Kia has called to say something has come up, she needs to close early and she wants to reschedule me. Its poor business! There are too many other nail salons that offer exceptional customer service, this place is not one of those, I won't be back! Chenda, if you decide to open your own business or go elsewhere please let me know! read more
