My husband and I had a great experience working with Construction&More on our kitchen and bathroom…read moreremodel! We wanted to get our home ready for our newborn baby, so having everything come together and be finished on time was really important to us. From the beginning, communication was easy, and the team did a great job listening to our ideas and making sure the details from our original design plans were carried through. The kitchen fabrication turned out beautiful, and you can really see the attention to detail in the finished work. We also really appreciated that the pricing was affordable and that the project stayed on schedule. Avi and Joseph were our project managers, and they helped make the whole process go smoothly. Having a remodel done can be stressful, especially when you're preparing for a new baby, but we felt good about the work being done and loved seeing everything come together. Overall, we're really happy with how our kitchen and bathroom turned out. Between the quality of the work, easy communication, reasonable pricing, and finishing on time, we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their home!

The communication, timeliness, and finish quality was just not there with our project…read more I'm not sure if this is because of a deficiency in project management, or because of the poor contracting. From the beginning, we were never given a good sense of timeline and when parts of the project were to be completed. Contractors would not show up on days when we were told they would come, and they would randomly show up on days where we were not given any warning and we had to be at work. The contractors that came to spray texture on the walls showed up at 7pm on a Friday night. We felt bad they had traveled so far and so late, but amazed that nobody had thought to communicate their arrival to us. Because the contractors would show up at random times and complete random parts of the project, we were always being forced to rush order parts that we didn't have on hand. This included a dishwasher air gap, a garbage disposal, and the cabinet handles. As professionals, why wouldn't they have a list of required finishes for all their customers? There were also just other instances of poor management. They miscalculated how much slab we needed, so they charged us extra for that as well. The handles on the cabinets were badly misaligned, and looked like nobody had measured the distances to the edges of the cabinets. We had to ask for this to be fixed. There was a missing finished edge on the cabinet end by the dishwasher, which we also had to ask to be fixed. We had to ask for so many basic things like having our window screen reinstalled and the window lock reattached 2 weeks AFTER the final inspection passed. If the final inspection is done already, there's no more excuses for delays in finishing a project. There was no final walkthrough once everything was done. We just noticed that one of the cabinet faces has a huge scratched up area where it looks like someone colored it in with a crayon. Shouldn't this sort of damage be disclosed to your customer without us having to scrutinize? In conclusion, if you look at the work from a distance, it's up to code and done fine. The whole experience has been so dragged out, however, that at this point we can't even be bothered with calling out the weird crayon thing.

We had a number of questions before making a final decision, and John promptly answered all of them and walked us through the entire process. It was easy to customize the proposal and get a quote for the final project. We worked with Insang to design our shed office and loved how simple it was. The 3D design allowed us to visualize every aspect of the space, including small details like outlet locations and light switch locations. At the end of the process, we were confident we knew exactly what our office shed would look like. When it came time to build the shed, the crew was on time, organized, and fast. They were open to small adjustments that needed to be made throughout the process to ensure that we were satisfied with the final product When the space was complete, Insang and John made sure that we were 100% satisfied before the final payment. I highly recommend Shed Mania! They are by far one of the best builders that I have ever worked with. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed in your decision. What stood out most was the level of communication and attention to detail throughout the entire process. John, Song, and the team were incredibly responsive, moved quickly, and kept us informed at every stage. They took the time to understand not just what we wanted the space to look like, but how we planned to use it, and that thoughtfulness showed up in so many of the design and construction details. They were also extremely accommodating as the project evolved. Whenever we had a question, wanted to adjust something, or noticed a small detail we wanted refined, they were receptive and worked with us to get it right. There was never a sense that they were simply trying to finish the job and move on--they clearly cared about the quality of the finished space and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with it. The craftsmanship is excellent, the process was remarkably smooth, and everything came together faster than we expected for a project of this size. What started as a dilapidated backyard structure is now a beautiful, thoughtfully designed office that feels like a true extension of our home. We couldn't be happier with the experience or the finished result. If you're considering a backyard studio, office, shed, or similar project, I would recommend Shed Mania without hesitation. They took our ideas seriously, sweated the details, and ultimately brought our vision to life better than we could have hoped.

They did a great job at a reasonable price, they were diligent, clean, respectful and took good care of my property. The work also included plumbing and electrical work, for new appliances and lights. Some highlights below about what I liked the most about working with them: David is very responsive to call/text. It's quite easy to reach him whenever I needed something. There is a decent sized crew where they have people with specific skillset like someone who only does counter tops, someone else who is a dedicated electrician and such. They were not in a rush to finish. But they did show up almost every day including some Saturdays. Whenever I pointed out something that I didn't like, even for minor things, David made sure it was redone to my liking - no question asked. This included returning some parts he already ordered and that was delivered, reordering new parts, repainting some wall with a new color and so on. They took care of everything - literally. Including TV and curtain rods unmount/mount, new door hinges and handles, and all new appliance installations. They took care of all the trash, hauling out all the demolition debris, old appliances, floors, and everything. When the job was finished everything was neat and clean. There is a fair payment breakdown, and I only made payments when certain part of the job was completed. Even after I made the final payment and I noticed some minor things that I needed fixed, they promptly came back and took care of those. Overall I'm very satisfied, and I'll definitely hire them again for other remodeling projects.

I called DiBlasi Restoration and spoke with Frank DiBlasi, the owner of his independent company. He met me at the house the next day and assessed the situation. The bedroom issues were easily resolved, but the bathroom is where they really succeeded. Not only was the mold wiped and removed, the surrounding tile grout was scrubbed and shiny like new. A nice touch by these guys. After a weekend of dehumidifying Frank took air samples in each affected room and sent them to an independent lab. All the tests passed with flying colors. I would recommend DiBlasi Restoration in a heartbeat. Frank has been at this for several successful decades and is righteously confident in his methods and protocols. On top of that, he's just decent business owner who is fair and square with his customers.

My bathroom was very outdated and probably hadn't been updated since the house was constructed in 1960. I met with more than five contractors and from the start, Yovel proved he had experience, a point of view on what would work for us, and an easy going manner. LB's quote was fair and they were upfront about potential change orders or other costs that might come up (not surprising for such an outdated bathroom!). Throughout the project, Yovel kept me updated on progress and sought my opinion when different options were available on how to proceed. In one instance, he came up with a great way to cut the tile so I could avoid paying for a whole extra box. The updates were particularly important for me because I didn't stay at the house during this renovation, because this was my only bathroom. I gave me the peace of mind that everything was under control when I couldn't personally be there to oversee things or give input. The bathroom turned out AMAZING and it's easily my favorite room in the house now. I would happily work with them again on my next home renovation.

GMBC has several crews and I can only say that Jose and his team were consummate professionals who were friendly, polite, and took all COVID protocols seriously. They were respectful to each other and to us. They even put up with our puppy who busted through the plastic zippered door every single day to greet them. The work was on hold for a full year due to the pandemic. A lot of contractors and businesses I contacted for quotes ended up either not showing up because the job was too small or they gave me outrageous quotes, but Farr was the only one to give a fair quote and a detailed scope of work. My previous roommate and I were absolutely thrilled with the final result, and the showers were a big selling point when I sold off my condo. Fast forward 2 years later and we purchased our first house which needed a lot of cosmetic renovations. Both bathrooms were very outdated with cracked tiles, smudged or old fixtures, bathtub, vanity, etc so we needed a full gut. Again Farr came out and was able to give me a competitive fair price for 2 bathroom renovations and it came out EXACTLY what I asked for, and even came back to touch up a few issues I pointed out after the job was almost complete! Picking out the materials and scheduling was a breeze and the whole process took about a month. Will continue to recommend EZ baths to anyone in the East Bay looking for a bathroom remodel!
