We had an amazing experience with Dave and couldn't be happier with our kitchen cabinet refacing! Before choosing Dave, I got two other quotes, and his price was considerably lower than the others. But what really gave us confidence was seeing so many great reviews about him on Yelp and learning that he works with a high-quality cabinet manufacturer. After working with him, we can definitely see why he has so many happy customers! Dave was professional, knowledgeable, reliable and very easy to work with throughout the entire process. He takes pride in his work and made sure everything was done beautifully. Our kitchen looks amazing--it feels like we have a brand-new kitchen! We are very happy with the quality, the price, and the overall experience. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone considering cabinet refacing. Thank you, Dave, for doing such a fantastic job! read more

I'm writing this review because Dave's excellent Yelp reviews are what encouraged me to choose him to reface my cabinets--and I'm so glad I did! Dave completed my kitchen yesterday after a five-day project, and I couldn't be happier with the result. My cabinets were small, dated and overly traditional, and I wanted a cleaner, brighter, more modern look without remodeling the entire kitchen. Cabinet refacing is definitely the way to go if you want a dramatic transformation and excellent value for your money. Dave brought my vision to life with beautiful slim Shaker-style doors, which he extended to give the cabinetry a more streamlined, modern appearance, along with a matte white finish and installed the polished chrome hardware. Dave and his painter, Gilberto, were punctual and communicative, and they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. The difference is incredible--the kitchen now feels larger, lighter, and much more contemporary. Dave was knowledgeable, responsive, and attentive to detail throughout the entire project. Refacing was absolutely the right choice for my space, and the quality of the finished work is excellent. I've included some before-and-after photos because the transformation truly speaks for itself. I would definitely recommend Dave to anyone looking to update their kitchen! read more

Working with Dave was the best decision we have ever made in refacing our kitchen. We met with ReBorn and Home Depot that offer the same services for 2x the cost and not nearly the same quality or service. Dave runs his own business. He takes pride in his work. He is meticulous. Organized and efficient. He knows his cabinets and he has an excellent manufacturer who produces the custom doors and cabinets. Below is a link to show you what he accomplished with my home. The kitchen, the second level bathroom and master bathroom were all refaced by Dave including the drawers. He did an absolutely outstanding job and completed the install in 2 days and cost 50% less then the competition. Not too good to be true. Just a guy who runs his business right. Cannot recommend more highly. I couldn't thank David enough for the work he has done for our kitchen. He worked on the cabinet refacing for our kitchen, giving it a stunning new look. From the very beginning, the consultation that he provided was insightful in regards to how to select new cabinet door/drawer style, the color that would best match the aesthetics of our home. The physical dimensions of the cabinet-doors /drawers were changed from original ones to give our kitchen a nice look - we owe to David for this. His attention to detail and precision is an absolute selling point. I am impressed by such accurate placement of the cabinet-doors, drawers, and door handles. His paint work was consistent throughout the whole kitchen, I could not find any imperfection in color or texture of my cabinets. We find him very professional - always arrived on time, answered all of our questions. In terms of pricing, it was very reasonable from my point of view and very much worth the services that he provides. Overall, David had done an outstanding job on refacing my kitchen and I am very satisfied with the result. read more

Custom Cabinet Refacing transformed our kitchen, pantry, and laundry area -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! After replacing our kitchen counters, we received several quotes for either cabinet refacing or painting. When Dave came out to give us a quote, it was immediately clear he takes great pride in his craftsmanship. He offered thoughtful suggestions we hadn't considered. For example, when we mentioned replacing our oven/microwave combo, Dave recommended coordinating the installation with his work so he could custom-fit the opening using matching wood trim -- a much better solution than the plastic filler the appliance company suggested. His attention to detail truly elevated the final look. Custom Cabinet Refacing also offered a wide selection of cabinet styles. We thought we knew what we wanted, but after seeing another option Dave suggested, we changed our minds -- and we're so glad we did. We also decided to use his recommended painter, Rigoberto, who specializes in cabinet finishing. Rigoberto's work was exceptional, and the paint finish is beautiful. Both Dave and Rigoberto clearly take pride in their work. They arrived on time, finished on schedule, and handled any challenges with skill. We encountered a few issues when ordering our oven/microwave combo because they recently changed the model. When I tried to reach out to the vendor to confirm the dimensions, no one could provide us the exact measurements and were told it should fit into the same cutout as the previous model. Dave took those dimensions added in the additional wood to existing cabinet since the new oven/microwave combo was about 2-3 inches shorter in height than the existing oven/microwave combo. When our new oven/microwave combo arrived, Dave's estimated measurements were spot on and the oven/microwave combo fit perfectly. He even noticed our dishwasher had been installed incorrectly and fixed that too by adding in some additional woodwork. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about quality and craftsmanship, we highly recommend Custom Cabinet Refacing and Rigoberto for your cabinet painting. They completely transformed our home, and we can't thank them enough! Thanks, David read more

Kitchen remodeling can be an expensive and daunting process, but when you have someone like Dave from Custom Cabinets Refacing you are in great hands and looking towards a beautiful brand new looking kitchen. I'm so glad I did it. Look no farther! My kitchen looks AMAZING!!!. The process was easy enough. From a great catalog of door styles and colors you pick whatever you like. Dave comes to your house and takes tons of measurements. The doors take about 5 weeks to be shipped, mine were early at 4 weeks. You decide if you're painting the fronts or hire Dave's painter. Last step is installation that depending on the size of your kitchen is about a day. Dave gave me a reasonable estimate and timeframe. He was on time( early) every time. He is a reliable serious professional. Responded quickly to all my emails with questions. His work is excellent and I must say I tend to be a perfectionist. I wish I had done it sooner! read more

I have to add to the glowing reviews. Could not be more satisfied. Here is what you can expect. Extremely fair pricing. No upsell. High quality work. Completely professional; you will feel comfortable with him working in your home. He tells you how long it will take and when he will start. And guess what? He follows through; he's reliable. So for us, getting new cabinets doors felt like getting a new kitchen in a week for a tenth of the cost. We have tons of cabinets and some non-standard large sizes. Dave did a fantastic job refacing my kitchen cabinets. Everything was done with excellent work and his painter also did an excellent job matching the new doors and drawer fronts all in 1 contract. From the outset, he was clear about his process, timelines and pricing. He uses quality products, and he was willing to offer guidance in the decision making process. Dave did a fantastic job refacing all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts of my large SF kitchen on budget and on schedule. I chose CCR after comparing another highly rated refacing/refinishing co and Home Depot, and while the proposals were competitive, Dave was clearest in his communications (his emails are admirably efficient and timely), and he worked with me to save money where it made sense. To boot, Dave was punctual, meticulous, and quiet but friendly. He is a craftsman. I would hire him again in a quick minute. I rarely write reviews but he deserves a shout out. read more

I recently had my 20+ year old maple kitchen cabinets re-fronted by Dave with new doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes, and new hardware and toe-kick. I wanted to continue with stained (not painted) cabinets. Dave's vendor Walzcraft had a stain that closely matched my current stain. Walzcraft offers a broad selection of cabinet styles to choose from. The quality of Walzcraft's product that I detected based on visiting their website coupled with the raving reviews about Dave that I saw here and on other platforms sold me on engaging with Dave. He was very timely in providing an estimate and then visiting to do detailed measurements. He gave an estimated installation date and it ended up being spot-on. Dave's pricing is reasonable. I could not be happier with the outcome! I cannot say enough about Dave's workmanship coupled with the quality of the cabinets. I would definitely use Dave again and I highly recommend him. As another reviewer stated ,"run don't walk to hire him!" You will not regret it! read more

Warning: this review may sound over the top, but I cannot express adequately how pleased we are with Dave and his workmanship. Our tired kitchen cabinets were updated in just five days with perfection, plus our two bathrooms. So, here goes... First, we've not had the best experiences with contractors. We hold our breath and hope for the best. Dave, the owner of Custom Cabinet Refacing, is low key and not at all pushy. Very matter of fact. He provided a sample and a catalog of cabinets and helped us choose the right white to go with our existing granite tops. The quote was quite reasonable and the timeline of 5-6 days was even better. All the work was done meticulously and with great care. Highly recommend Dave for people who are like us--contractor-adverse--be assured you're in good hands. Our old oak cabinets have been transformed and we love the fresh, clean look to match our dining room. read more

I am so happy with this cabinet refacing. Dave is a craftsman who pays attention to detail. Every door and line is straight. And every seam is clean. He uses Walzcraft because the solid wood doors are very good quality, nice finish, and the veneer is real wood. When he says he'll be here at 8:30, he's here at 8:30. You can tell he has been doing this for a while. I highly recommend going with these Solid wood doors over the thermofoil. It is worth the price. And I had a few bids to compare. read more

Cannot recommend Dave enough! His work is very high quality, timely, fairly priced and super professional. I had some 90s era cabinets in my kitchen and thanks to Dave my kitchen now has a much fresher, brighter look. This is the second time I've worked with Dave (CCR) on a refacing project. I had golden oak entertainment/storage units in my family room, very outdated and heavy looking. They're sturdy and work for me so I was hesitant to replace them, seemed so wasteful. Dave was able to reface the drawers and doors with grey painted shaker cabinet doors and plain drawer fronts. The frame/body of the units were sanded and primed several times before a final coat of paint. The oak grain is virtually gone, replaced with a nice solid finish. I was worried it might be easily scratched but is not the case at all. To say I'm p,eased with the end product is an understatement. In addition I very much appreciated the care they took in protecting the rest of the rooms from the dust and fumes. Highly recommend. read more
