Do not support this type of business in our community! There administrative cost passed on to the client with higher rate. I walked out when I saw the sign!

JM house special, we asked for it to be cut in half

Tip - As of early April, there was no clearly visible sign indicating a $0.30 charge for using a credit card. Overall - Around $9 is a bit pricey for a Banh Mi, but it does come with fresh veggies. Location - Can't be missed in downtown Gresham, with a small shared parking lot and a larger one a few blocks away that I've never had issues with. Menu - There are a few different options, but the house special caught our eye. It had plenty of meat, fresh veggies, and the bread was nice and crunchy. Still can't get over the $9 price point and the credit card charge I wasn't made aware of until after I paid. Interior - It's very modern with plenty of seating!

A banh mi in Gresham? Let's go! I was really excited to hear that there's one near by and I don't need to go far for it. Here I am trying it out. There were quite a bit of selection on the menu, but we were not hungry and wanted to just try one: House Special and menu price $8.50 At first glance: meaty, fresh veggies and not spicy. This sandwich is pretty much catered to it's community. Where was my jalapeno? Otherwise, a well balanced banh mi. If I had one by myself, I would be full. Cute place, fast service. Sandwich was cut in half. Made to order. It was a little bit expensive for my taste, not to mention a credit card fee. It was added to my total without being told. I understand small, local business, but would appreciate if I was told about the convenience fee + $0.30. I had cash on me, would have paid with that instead. Nice to try, probably won't go back. Parking spots are available in the lot and surrounding area. Free parking, no limit.

Found this gem in Gresham. They serve banh mi sandwiches, rice vermicelli noodles, salad rolls, egg rolls, and Boba drinks. Last week we showed up at lunch and they were so busy. We planned accordingly the next day and ordered online. You can even select a pickup time. Walked in on Saturday and no line. Picked up the JM Killer Roasted Pork Belly banh mi, pork banh mi, and an order of crispy egg rolls. The banh mi bread is soft and the egg rolls were fried to perfection with a flavorful filling. I will order pork belly anytime that is an option; however, the grilled pork edged out on flavor. Friendly service and delicious food. Reasonable prices. Parking lot just outside the restaurant. Looking forward to next time.

The owners are very kind and nice!! The foods are no doubt a 5 STAR!!!! My husband ordered the beef brisket pho and I tried his soup. I must say, that pho is THE BEST!!!!! So much flavor. #1 I ever tried anywhere!!!!!! I had the beef vermicelli noodle salad and other sides and they were all so DELICIOUS as well!!!!! I will definitely go again and again and spread their restaurant's name to friends and family. Thank you much!!!

Sorry, you have to zoom in and look at the menu. The value is good, the food is good, the people are nice. What else do you need to know?

Okay, maybe 4.75? TLDR: excellent food, wonderful bread (seriously), good flavors, and outstanding value. So this little corner was empty for a long time and then came the coffee shop, which moved to a more main-street location and suddenly the windows were covered and there was construction and we all wondered what was coming next. I learned to love Banh Mi while working sales in a place with a little Vietnamese joint across the street. Wonderful bread (thanks to the colonial French influence) with good shredded carrots and mayo, meat, cucumbers, lots of crunch, and loads of flavor, what's not to like? So when the sign went up that this was going to be a Vietnamese deli, I was delighted. The fact that it is in walking distance from our house played no part in our joy whatsoever! We decided that lunch time today was the perfect opportunity to give them a shot so down I went to grab some take-out. The staff inside were very friendly, including the other folks there (a couple of older Vietnamese ladies who were enjoying, and advocating for, the Iced Coffee), and the gentleman who was apparently buying lunch for for a large portion of the medical staff somewhere close by. I ordered a couple of sandwiches and some fresh rolls as a good start. I got the JM Killer Pork Belly for myself. The meat was earthy and tender, there was plenty of mayonnaise and toppings but in the end, it didn't have enough . . . something. Some complimentary hook to pull it all together. Don't get me wrong, all of the constituent parts were great, but as a sandwich it was only good. The barbecue pork sandwich had the sweetness of the sauce to draw the elements together. I'm not usually someone who needs sweetness to get me to like things, but it was just subtly sweet and made the carrots sweeter. The juicy crunch of the cucumber was just wonderful. Let's talk about the bread. Crunchy on the outside, with that flakiness that the french method yields so well, soft with a good crumb. I'd just go and get bread if I could. Nothing like fresh buttered bread and coffee in the morning. The salad rolls were generous with pork and shrimp, so there was no bite without protein. Add some peanut sauce and you've got a great appetizer. The-woman-who-lets-me-live-with-her (thanks Mike) went on and on about the bread.

The reviews on JM Banh Mi sounded promising so wanted to give them a try. We ordered the JM Killer Roasted Pork Belly and Grilled Pork Banh Mi along with a side of crispy egg rolls. The JM Killer Roasted Pork Belly wins hands down. The meat was flavorful. There was a generous portion of cilantro along with the cucumber and carrot veggies that made this sandwich stand out for me. We felt the grilled pork Bahn Mi lacked flavor in comparison to the pork belly. However, we found slices of jalapeño which gave a nice pop. We weren't able to consume the egg rolls immediately as we ordered take out. The egg rolls became a bit soft...no fault of JM's. Although I miss my sweet chili sauce that I like to dip my egg rolls in. JM includes a cup of fish sauce which is a plus. Egg rolls come 3 to an order. Looks like a husband/wife team operate this business. The husband from the kitchen greeted us with a smile and cheerful hello. He told us about their dog who is their lucky mascot who happens to be named Lucky. I overheard a customer (guessing a first timer also) ask what was recommended. The lady said the JM Killer Pork Belly and grilled chicken. I definitely recommend the pork belly bahn mi. There is a small wrap around dining area with maybe 7 or 8 tables. The restaurant is clean and very inviting. When in the area...I will definitely be back and try one of the many other Bahn Mi sandwiches that JM has to offer.

One of my salad rolls. I ate the other one.

So fresh and so good. I tried the grilled beef banh mi. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ordered salad rolls, they are huge. I took the other one home.

Came in on a Monday afternoon, the food took about eight minutes since we came right when a wave of people also came. I ordered a grilled beef bahn mi and Vietnamese coffee. The seating here is a little limited. The grilled beef was warm and flavorful. The veggies tasted fresh and I would have personally loved more veggies on it. My only downside is the sandwich itself is smaller than expected and the juice from the meat makes the sandwich soggy if not eaten fast enough. The Vietnamese coffee was good, as expected. A small bonus was an adorable greeter, they have a small pup just roaming around that loves scratches.

The sandwiches are just SO good! Easy for take out and super kind owners. Gresham has really needed a shop like this.

How does this location have such a low rating?! I stopped at Jimmy John's for the very first time…read moreduring Hood to Coast 2025 and it ended up being exactly what my team needed. Borderline hangry after finishing our first leg, we were searching for food (breakfast or lunch) only to discover most places didn't open until 11am. BUT Jimmy John's was open and that alone felt like a victory. Pulling our giant relay van into the lot, we were surprised to find that this particular location is what looks like an old converted gas station. Quirky but it honestly added to the fun and delirium. Once inside I ordered a #4 Turkey Tom with cheese and I swear the sandwich was made fresh before I even had a chance to pay. The efficiency here was mind-blowing and exactly what we needed mid-relay. The one thing that brought my rating down a star was the water situation. I grabbed a cup and after filling it up twice, I noticed some brown flecks floating around. I'm still telling myself it was just old soda syrup in the lines or something harmless but it was enough to be weary. Aside from that hiccup, it was a great experience. The employees working the morning of 8/22/25 were fast, friendly, and on top of it - if they're always here, then I don't know how people could complain about any wait times. Cody took my order and he was great. All in all, this stop turned out to be a happy, tasty, and speedy surprise during Hood to Coast.

I get mad at myself waiting for my # 7 looking at the menu and all the other decisions I could have made but then you take a bite and all doubt washes away. I really like how fast they get your sandwich ready. In and out faster than any drive through fast food he'll hole could with a legion of High School Kids. The ingrate always fresh and crisp. The bread is amazing. If the ever start selling "Cheesy Garlic" on that bread, I already imagine delicious problems that would create. I'm not telling Jimmy John's to not make it but I am saying, I wish you would.
