    Sandwich board

I read about this tiny place on SE 82nd and went for the Bahn Mi sandwiches. There's a huge picture board describing the flavors and prices. In this compact space, there are various Vietnamese snacks and bakery goods on the counter where you order. It looks like this is a popular place for ordering platters for special occasions. I ordered a teriyaki chicken bahn mi, shrimp salad rolls and a sesame ball. My bill was only 11.75!! I liked it so much, that I was there a few days later ordering the same meal from the very friendly woman who told me it's family owned and operated. She pointed out the photos on the wall of their soups, so might have to try that on one of my next trips over there. There is a great fenced in parking for about 6 cars, easy to come and go for sure. I timed it, 12 minutes from my work!

Crispy bread on the bahn mi with lots of varieties and fantastic price and delicious flavors. Order a pho or bun bao hue to go and you have a giant meal. Pick a few snacks from the counter like sesame balls, fried bananas, or a drink. There isn't a place to sit but a counter for maybe 2 people to stand and eat. The lady is calm and quick and super nice.

I ordered 20 salad rolls to bring to a super bowl party and they were a hit. It came with a tub of peanut sauce. The had quite the menu for party trays. The ladies who worked there were all really nice.

Delicious light crackly baguette filled generously with meat, herb and pickled vegetables. Amazing price for such a delicious banh mi! Sweet Asian lady at the counter and minimal wait even for several sandwiches. Well worth the visit!!

Quick In and Out Deli offers items made daily and refrigerated items. No dining in but they do have a high counter if you need to eat it there. I did it this time since I was hungry and on a quick lunch break and because my order, Bánh Bèo (small round and soft rice cake with a good amount of mung bean, dried shrimp paste, and sautéed scallions paired with drinkable homemade fish sauce) was so delicious. Bánh Bèo is one of the staples of Vietnamese street food! Their Bánh Bèo is way better than Phở Kim with flying colors! I'll say 4 out of 5 because the cake should have been a bit thinner. Otherwise, everything that came with it was spot on, tasty, and so yummy! They offer a decent and solid quality of various Vietnamese snacks and street food you can't find elsewhere, such as bánh giò, bánh ít, sesame ball with mung bean, to name a few. There are limited entries with soup and noodles also made to order such as porridge, and fried rice among other things. They cater food as well with reasonable price. I ordered a few months ago a tray of shrimp spring rolls and clear noodle chick stir-fried; they were delicious, cheap, and in good quantity. They do have Bánh Mì made to order. Vietnamese Ham is their specialty; they have various kinds of ham from regular to fried to delicacies such as snail-embedded! Small family-owned! It gives you the feeling of ordering food from your grandma. You have to check it out if you want to see what kind of Vietnamese street food they have!

We live in Beaverton so it's far to get to the good Vietnamese food. I'm trying to slowly hit up all of the bánh mì places because I looove them. Chả Lụa is a small little shop with lots of parking. There are tons of bakery items, and menus for food. I ordered the đặc biệt and also grabbed bánh tiêu because why not. The bánh tiêu (sesame donut) were so good! Just like home. The bánh mì was packed full, I loved how much cha they stuffed in (hence their restaurant name hehe). However, there was no signature mayo or pate in it. The slightly chewy bread also has a sweet coconut taste, (which sucks for me because I'm allergic to coconut, but it was still a good-unique). I'm giving four stars because of the little girl that gave me my sandwiches

Obsessed with the lemongrass tofu banh mi. Best inexpensive lunch in my neighborhood!

The best banh mi I've had in the Portland metro area. Ordered a 3 & 4 bread was crispy and airy, great meat to veggie ratio. Great value and fresh quality. Will definitely come back to try other items. Highly recommend.

Came here for the banh mis and ended up with some bbh togo as well. I would have given this place 4 stars but the food was disappointing. I thought the sandwiches were good, they were full of meat, but missing the mayo and pate. The bread was soft but crunchy at the same time. The BBH broth was good, but it was definitely a small portion. Not sure if you get more if you dine in, but disappointed in the size. They definitely give you a lot of meat and veggies, but wish the noodle quantity was even. Will probably give it another shot, but will request for condiments next time.

I'm from the San Gabriel Valley and spend a lot of time in Westminster / Little Saigon in California, so I'd say my standards for banh mi are pretty high. I paid $4.50 for the banh mi and $2 for each of the pastries (pate so). The banh mi was a little smaller than I expected and didn't have as much meat as I would've liked. I LOVED the pate so. A bit pricier than what I'm also used to, but the pastry was so perfectly flaky. The filling was also perfectly seasoned. I would come back just for the pate so.

Menu and fresh cooked and baked goods!

The sandwiches are always delicious. The tofu is fresh and everything that I've purchased there is wonderful. The family owned business is excellent overall. Five stars for sure for tasty and fair priced take away food!!

I know we…read morehave several really popular polynesian and Hawaiian restaurants in the area, but I'm uncertain how many uniquely identify as Samoan. Tusi's Deli Creation may be the only one! Located at 68th and Glisan, the restaurant has been introduced to the community slowly over the last few months. The owners are currently doing catering and producing prepackaged deli style food for sale elsewhere, but they've also opened their doors to the public on the weekends. Apparently, the intention is to open for extended hours in early November when they'll operate from Wednesday through Sunday. I've only sampled Tusi's Deli Creation dishes sold for prepackaged takeout, but the chicken half moon pie and round pancakes (Panikeke) are so fresh and packed with flavor, I can't wait to visit this weekend to try more! I'll amend my review when I do. In the meantime, the deli is building quite a social media following where they show off some of their dishes, and make announcements about hours, etc. I highly suggest you check them out before they get so popular they begin selling out of inventory!

Please look for the sign. I had to take a turn around the block to realize it was there. (It was rainy and dark out). The owners are lovely people super attentive and welcoming. I called ahead to make sure this wasn't a fluke and the guy answered and reassured me they did indeed have COOKED Samoan food! I got fish, mamoe, muli pipi, with rice and taro. Let me tell you, I don't even think I chewed for the most part. HAHAHA. The food was warm, delicious ,and a comforting in the way that only food from "home" can comfort you. They for sure have blessed hands in the kitchen. I didn't try any of the baked goods or the deserts. But they're an option that I am fully going to take advantage of next time! They're open on Mondays, which is rare since many restaurants are closed, so it was nice to try it before leaving. My sister ordered the spaghetti and cheese with two large meatballs, garlic bread, and the Chicago beef with Italian sausage, and both were great. The meatballs were especially delicious. I just wish more were included, though extras are available to order. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich which was very cheesey and flavorful. Afterward, we noticed you can add pepperoni and make it a "Chicken Parmeroni," which sounds like a better option. The large antipasta salad with balsamic vinegar was fresh and tasty, and it's nice that you can choose your dressing . I really love the antipasta salad! Overall, a really enjoyable meal and definitely worth recommending! Wish there had been time to try more of the menu.

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was like why I can find at home and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

My wife ordered the Aunt Tillie's Club, which she saw online and was the impetus for our visit, whereas I waffled between the tuna melt and the Aunt Tillie's Special (basically a grinder), eventually settling on the latter. Both of us were in heaven: sizeable portions, fresh bread, just enough condiments, and plenty of toppings to go around! My wife thought she was going to have to take a least half of it home, then changed her mind and powered through, leaving nothing behind! We dined just outside the restaurant proper, on one of the patio tables in the "mall", but there is plenty of seating inside (just not enough to accommodate the rush, it seems), plus a quaint little pub at the back that is easy to miss, but adds another layer to an already charming sandwich shop. We were both so impressed by the entire experience, that we are guaranteed to return, likely sooner than later! Very recommended!
