Unable to find the source ourselves, we contacted several plumbers and had to turn off our water for three days until help arrived. Kline & Kavali were the first to return our call on Monday morning, and although they couldn't come until first thing Tuesday morning, they arrived exactly when promised. Our serviceman, Nick, introduced himself, got right to work troubleshooting, and quickly isolated the issue. He clearly explained our repair options and efficiently completed the work. Nick was courteous, knowledgeable, and thoroughly cleaned up when he finished--other than the hole in our ceiling, you'd never know he'd been there. I was a little leery when he said the "bill would be in the mail," but was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the cost was when the bill arrived. Now here we are in April 2026 my sub pump failed again. I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!

I called them three or four times asking when someone would show up and was repeatedly told he is on his way. NOPE. NO SHOW. My last call was about 6:30 pm on Friday evening. I had no water for the entire Memorial Day Weekend. On Sunday evening I went to Lowes and got the parts and fixed it myself. The City turned the water back on Tuesday morning. Don't waste your time, call someone else! BTW, I used to have a service contract and regular maintenance with them after a backup in 2023 caused over $8000 in damage, which I had them do the remediation. I thought, hey, I will call them since I have had regular contact and being a good customer. WRONG. Call someone else and avoid the headache.

I was stuck with a drain issue at one of my rentals in Kent on off hours and the guy I've used in the past was not responding any longer. I called Allen drain and they were friendly, responsive, and fit me in quickly. The workers that came out were knowledgeable and got the issue corrected promptly. Their pricing was way more affordable than expected (less than the independent guys I've used in the past). I'm never calling anyone else for drain problems. I've used them several times now (drain issues are inevitable with 4 units full of college renters) and been happy every time. I called them out once and it ended up not being a drain issue - they let me know what the problem was and didn't charge me for the false alarm. They also have a warranty of sorts and will come back at no charge if the drain clogs again within a certain amount of time (I believe 30 days). The customer service is outstanding. This is the company you want to deal with.

Recently I had concerns about my plumbing system coming into the house and I called Jennings for an…read moreinspection before I left on vacation. Guy comes out, looks at the setup while standing 3 feet away and says it is good. He did not check the main water line for cracks or looseness, he did not manually check the clamps for tightness, and he really didn't do anything. $100 for that call. Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. Called Jennings and they sent a guy over to reconnect what they failed to secure (in my opinion). What a mess I found upon my return. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.
