    Spicy Veggie Sushi Bowl
    Lizzie D.

The best poké I've had in the twin cities! This spot is a hidden gem, located in the lower level of an office building off of highway 100 and metro boulevard. You can either order online / over the phone or at the counter! They have maximized their seating but you can find it almost full most days with repeat customers who keep coming back for more! The space is very clean and cozy and the perfect lunch spot. The food is absolutely incredible. It is always fresh, delicious, and fast! I truly crave their veggie poké bowl almost every single day. Their spicy tuna bowl is also incredible. Their miso soup is delicious, I have yet to try anything that I didn't like! Don't overlook this spot! You truly won't regret trying it out.

I was with another friend in an industrial Park in Edina and we searched for the nearest food. This popped up. As we approached, we were confused because it was in an office building. Who knew that a hidden gem for sushi could be hidden there. We started with a few of the appetizers. To be honest, they were prepackaged items that they heated up and they were ok. I mean that in the most Minnesota sense of that phrase possible.. The sushi itself was wonderful. It was fresh and flavorful. They had some very interesting taste combos in addition to the regular sushi rolls that you would expect. The prices were very reasonable. If you find yourself in that part of town, I would highly recommend stopping in. The hours are limited, so it's not someplace you would go for dinner, but if you're out running errands, it is definitely worth the stop. And if you are working over there and haven't been there, Run over there right now for lunch.

I've loved JK's table for over 12 years but as a NW suburbanite I don't get the opportunity to go there. My new job is less than 2 miles away so I thought this would be the perfect lunch. I always get the spicy tuna bowl. The flavors mesh well together and it's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. My only complaint is I feel the portion size has significantly decreased. Service was fast and courteous. They do have 2 designated spots for to go orders and I took advantage of that. They were packed with no seating inside.... But to be expected on a Friday around noon. I'll most likely return and try a bento box which looked amazing.

A little off the beaten path you will find this lunch time gem. I didn't even notice it though I driven past it a million times. Sushi noodle deli sandwiches spot, that's a lot to say! I had the sushi bento box and it was delicious! The service is order at the counter and then find a seat. Food arrives pretty promptly. There isn't much of an atmosphere but you are there for the food not the setting. Another plus for me is that they had barley tea! It's one of my faves.

This inconspicuous spot in an office building may not look like much, but it offers delicious Japanese bentos, bowls, and sushi at a great price! I went in and got a jk bento with a spicy salmon roll and mackerel, and the roll was a pretty good size for 6 pieces, and came with meatballs and sides as well. I added a miso soup, and my friend and I shared some takoyaki (which was soft like the ones I had in Osaka) and wontons and it made for the perfect lunch. I love that it is a family and Japanese owned no frills spot. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you or you can order to go.

A hidden gem in the suburbs! Quality Japanese cuisine and is reasonably priced. They are located inside an office building. There is an ample amount of parking in the parking lot and has some seating inside the restaurant. It's a small place and can be very busy at times, but service is great and are quick with getting orders ready. One of my favorites is the spicy salmon sushi bowl. Also love the half udon and sushi roll deal as well for lunch. Always have a great experience here!

Basic Japanese fares, portions are smalls, nothing out of the ordinary. Mainly for lunch meals , ingredients are limited , do not order Togo, the portions even smaller , they use small containers , like for kids, I did ordered Curry Karaage Chicken , it's $ 14 , the size was like for 4 years old to eat , quite ridiculously so small .

Although you'd be forgiven for not being able to find this place at the bottom of a business office complex, JK's Table brings some great quality dishes to the fore. Food comes fast and is counter order with table service. The Sean roll was a great combination of tempura shrimp, fish, and spicy mayo done to near perfection. The pork belly banh mi did leave a little to be desired, but for the prices that you pay here... wow! This is one of the best values in town, no question. I'd highly recommend checking out JK's Table to get your sushi cravings quenched at a very reasonable price.

sushi Nigiri and Roll Combo Special

I got the nigiri combo and spicy tuna roll, the nigiri was great and i really recommend the spicy mayo - super flavor & delicious! The "crazy ken roll" was almost revolting and hard to finish, the inside soft shell crab was anything but soft, it was hard warm and hurt to eat it was so crunchy. the top of the roll had spicy tuna that was almost frozen and the combination of temperatures was unpleasant. The tuna overall had a very fishy taste and was just plain gross. The service was amazing and they were packed and did the best they could The restaurants tables seemed a bit too close together and almost felt like we were eating with the table next to us. I didn't mind this as much but some people may want a bit more privacy. The price was good, and i would give this place another try for redemption.

The food was really good. Found this restaurant through a Google search as I was craving sukiyaki udon. Taste very good. Wish they had longer hours :(

Cream cheese - typical but kind of small Chicken Katsu- crunch outside and not dry inside Ramen- from the presentation, does not look creamy. It also did not taste creamy. Doesn't have the typical tonkotsu ramen taste I've had before. Broth is a little bland. The pork belly is basically pork belly and not the typically ramen chashu pork I'm used to. It was a disappointing bowl of ramen. Sushi- presentation wise, does not look fancy. The plating looks like what you would get at an all you can eat place. Per husband, it was decent good. As for me, based on ramen, I would not go back for that. Maybe next time I will give sushi a try but not sure if it's a god back to place. If you want $5 appetizers, it's worth a try. If you get happy hour sushi rolls for $13 each is not too bad but regular price is about $17 per roll (like dynamite roll.) Service was quick. The space itself is clean, albeit a bit plain! It's not a huge space but we didn't have a wait at about 5:30pm on a Saturday! The servers were incredibly friendly and responsive during our entire stay. The food itself was good, yet nothing to write home about! We had our standard sushi order: wontons, gyoza, spicy tuna roll, California roll, and Philly roll! The wonton and Philly were my favorite, with good cream cheese to wonton ratio, and the lovely cream cheese bite in the roll! They did charge $1 for the side of eel sauce, which felt unnecessary for the serving size. Overall, not a bad spot if you're in the area and want some good sushi, but I wouldn't make a journey to check them out!

There is a great variety of rolls so everyone is going to be pleased with the meal. The restaurant itself is tight on space but the dining experience makes up for it. My group was the only ones here during all of lunch hour, so I was a little worried at first. There was only one server and she was also working the front desk as well. The menu was difficult to navigate as the items on their buffet menu did not have descriptions, but their al a carte and online menu did, so we had to cross reference menus to know exactly what was in each roll. Orders were taken quickly but the food came out a little slow; I wonder if they had much fewer cooks working for how slow their lunch hours were. Nonetheless, the food did arrive and what was missed in speed was made up for in quality. I didn't take many pictures since the I was so hungry while waiting for the food, but the one I did take was of the Snow Thrill roll, which had 3 different kinds of fish in it (just check out the amount of fish in that thing!!). Nigiri was solid and the rice was properly sushi vinegar'd. A couple other solid picks were the salmon tartar and gyoza. Dessert options are plentiful, but they didn't have some of the items listed on the menu like certain flavors of the mochi ice cream. If you're okay with a little bit of a wait, I would recommend trying this place out. Probably in my top 3 in terms of the quality of sushi in MN.
