Our chef was so fun here! The food was also incredible and the whole experience was great. I would definitely come back here for hibachi again! The steak and chicken hibachi came with so much food and I brought some home even. Always get the fried rice, it was so delicious!

I went to this location with my two daughters because it was the birthday of the younger one . The service was awesome and so was the ambient. They bring her a little dish and sang happy bday . Was so awesome . The server was very patient and amazing .

They have a ton of parking and are close to other lots as well. A group of us enjoyed sushi and hibachi. The Hibachi experience was really fun! Sushi- They have a Lunch and Dinner All you can eat menu available. You can also just order single sushi rolls as well. We ordered a few rolls to share and opted not to the ayce. Hibachi - They have a lot of options to choose from. Tofu, chicken, shrimp, various steak cuts and more! You can also do combinations of meats or check out their house specials. Hibachi is served with soup, salad, 2 shrimp, hibachi noodles, steamed rice and veggies. You can upgrade to fried rice. I did a combo of chicken and salmon. It was solid. The chef experience was the best I've had for hibachi. He was funny and talented.

I ordered take out for lunch, I think it's cool that they offer lunch prices for take out! I got the hibachi chicken, which came with rice, chicken, veggies (onions, mushrooms & zucchini), yum yum sauce & soup. All the food was decent tasting, especially for hibachi for $10. I didn't really get to see much of the restaurant as the greeter grabbed my order but from what I did see it looked nice & clean. Overall I hope to go back & dine in someday.

I really liked the food. The presentation was lovely. Our server was very pleasant. I also liked a lot of the little details like the soy sauce containers and chop sticks case.

AYCE Prices

Great quality and price for the AYCE lunch. Salmon nigiri has thick slices and fresh quality. Soy sauce wasn't salty enough for my taste. Quick service and the waitress was nice. Somewhat loud and busy atmosphere during lunch time on a weekday but not unenjoyable. Overall pleasant experience and would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a dinner at Benihana with a group of 4 friends on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was…read moresurprisingly busy for a Wednesday especially given the terrible driving conditions outside. Overall, the experience was full of joy and mostly good food. The staff were kind, and the Hibachi Chef was fairly skilled and entertaining. I've been to Hibachi many times and I will say this chef probably did the least amount of entertainment while cooking, but that didn't compromise the food or experience necessarily. I ordered the Hibachi 5 course Teriyaki chicken and I upgraded to fried rice for an extra charge. Price came out to around $50 which is also quite a bit more money than most other hibachi establishments I've been to. The food in the 5 course was onion soup, salad, shrimp, fried rice with grilled veggies, teriyaki chicken and ice cream. Beginning from first meal to last, the soup was pretty tasty, but far from many more delicious soups I've had at other Hibachi restaurants. I didn't feel the need to finish every last drop to put it that way. Next the salad was a ginger dressing, which to be honest I did not enjoy. Typically I love hibachi ginger salad dressing, but with this one, the gritty ginger separated from the oil and turned into two separate very different liquids with ginger sitting on top of the lettuce and oil pooling at the bottom. Hard pass on the salad dressing on this occasion. Next was the vegetable fried rice. This was delicious and by far my favorite. I of course ate it with Yum Yum sauce which makes everything better. It was buttery, well cooked, and the yum yum gave it the perfect balance between umami fried rice and the creaminess of the sauce. The main course was the Teriyaki chicken and some shrimp. It was a chicken breast and I thought it was well cooked and the teriyaki sauce was tasty, sweet and fairly rich. Once again I dipped it into my yum yum sauce, seriously yum yum on everything is the way to go. The shrimp was delicious and well cooked but it's hardly a part of the meal as you get a couple small bits of it. Lastly was ice cream for dessert. Option's are vanilla, rainbow sherbet, green tea and chocolate and I had the vanilla. It was ok ice cream at best. Tasted like they just took a small scoop out of a Kemps container. It wasn't very creamy and was a bit icy like it got freezer burn, but hey, ice cream is ice cream. Overall my experience at Benihana was enjoyable, but mostly average. I wouldn't gloat by any means, but they did have massive servings and most everything is tasty so those were a plus. For $50 though.... I'd probably rather go get a high quality meal at some fancy bistro.

Probably my least favorite Benihana location in MN…read more We went for lunch, just a party of 2. We were told it would be a bit of a wait for the hibachi table, we preferred to dine in the dining room anyways so I requested a regular table. We were told it would still be a 10-15 min wait. Once seated service was a bit slow as well as time it took to get the food out. We both ordered Hibachi Chicken, chicken fried rice, I got soup and my mom got salad. The soup was a bit bland from what I remember but not a big deal. The chicken, rice, veggies were fine but the YUM YUM sauce was a bit concerning. It was VERY THICK. Like mayo. You couldn't just pour it. A few other tables complained as well. Without the sauce I'd definitely pass on the meal. Our server was nice, i'd give her grace as she was working the entire bar area. Probably won't pick this location in future.

The service was also good (4/5). The hibachi chef did a great job of making it entertaining and fun, and the waitress did a good job of checking in and keeping our drinks filled. The restaurant has a nice ambiance (4.5/5) with a small bridge over a koi pond as you walk in. It is pretty dark inside, which seems to further focus your attention on the hibachi chef.

Our server was aloof and nothing to write home about. The hibachi chef was tending to three tables and we waited until he finished cooking for two tables before coming to ours. What an absolute lackluster experience! Having been to several hibachi style restaurants, this experience was by far the worst. Not only was our chef not engaging whatsoever, the only performative value of the entire cooking experience was putting a flammable on the grill and having the fire go. There were no tricks, no onion volcanoes, no creative knife work or fun. We ordered quite a variety of hibachi...filet mignon, chicken, lobster and scallops. The meat was cooked fine, but the noodles and rice were no bueno. The veggies were good. They provided large vats of yumyum sauce, which should've been a warning. We ordered the sushi love boat and it was good. The sliced lemons soaked into the sashimi and ruined the natural flavor. The ginger had a rancid flavor. One person in my party ordered chicken fried rice as her entree. It literally came out AFTER all of our leftovers had been boxed. Zero apologies or accountability from the staff. Keep in mind, we were there on a cold Wednesday night WITH reservations. I won't return to Shogun and am bummed about that.

The whole ambience and vibe of the restaurant is really nice. Granted, we were the only people there at the time, but it's still a really cozy and relaxing atmosphere in my opinion. The waitress that helped us was more than kind as well. Very nice, great service. The only thing I wish they would've asked is if we wanted the bill split, they just brought it to both of us. I was with my sister so we had to split it later. We didn't want to inconvenience them so we just paid the full bill. The BBQ pork bun was absolutely amazing. For only $5.50, I would recommend getting it as an appetizer. It's a fairly decent size too so you could split it with at least one other person. Or, you could have the whole thing to yourself!!! I'll probably get one just for me next time. I liked the chicken satay skewers. Those are really good. But, I was expecting more than just two small chicken skewers for the cost. Really good flavor though. Then we got sushi rolls. They were all fantastic. I remember I got the Ooka Roll. It's the most expensive role on the menu, but it's fantastic. I think we also got the 150th roll. Also fantastic. Overall, I really recommend this place if you want some sushi. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money. If you need a cheaper option, there are other sushi places that are a bit cheaper close by. But these guys are very good and I will be back. I would rate 4.5 out of 5 stars, but Yelp only lets me do full stars - so I'm bumping it up to a 5. I'm excited to try their hibachi when we go back, and more sushi.
