Needle Say More? A…read morePork a Pine, Pain from Naruto, or even that Pinhead dude from the Hellraiser series is what comes into My mostly bizzare mind when I think Acupuncture. Needle-ess to say, this was my first, of a series to come, experience with this type of practice. I really did not know what to expect and penetrating my skin with sharp pointy objects would Not be on top of my list of things to do when in pain, but luckily Dr Maritza Macy-Mcrae assured me that the procedure would be instead and ironically "comforting." In this Coronapocalypse World, it still boggles my mind how some places choose and manage their social distancing procedures, but Dr M was extremely thorough with her temp checks while donning on a full suit of infiltrating "bio medical" armor. I appreciate the extra mile she goes for clients while sacrificing her own time and comfort. I cannot imagine having to take off and put back the suit when needed. I was fortunate to be introduced to multiple procedures in addition to the apparently not so scary needles such as cupping and graftng. The whole session was surprisingly relaxing and even the finishing touches with the Capsacian Lotion (Thank You Dr for enriching my vocab lol) put my stress at ease. The office was very clean and sanitized and the procedure took about 30 minutes. Dr M was very accommodating, pleasantly conversational, and professional. I was even humbled when I discovered she had changed her own personal health schedule so it wouldnt conflict with mine. She has a lot of experience especially for Veterans and knowledge of the VA systems. I was actually impressed with her knowledge and how up to date she was with it! Needle ess to say, Highly recommend her for pain support or if you're new to it/shy/skeptical! Thank you for having my "Back!" Btw, Hi

Ms. Kauinui is an excellent personal trainer. She is very focused on ascertaining what YOUR goals…read moreare, then tailoring a safe, effective plan for achieving them. Several aspects of her approach elevate her above trainers you will find at gyms or health clubs. The first, in addition to being a licensed trainer she is also a superior massage therapist. The second is she is very knowledgeable about nutrition and nutritional supplements. She is able to provide guidance on positive eating habits that will help you achieve your goals. Thirdly, she has no incentive to push you into signing up for a gym membership. A unique aspect of her service is that she prefers conducting her training sessions out of doors, taking advantage of Hawaii's wonderful weather and pleasant, plentiful public parks. After all, you are in paradise why not calm your spirit while you improve your body? I found her rates to be very reasonable. She is very focused and serious about helping you achieve your desired results. Even so she not a drill sergeant, she conducts her sessions in a relaxed, friendly, caring manner that I found extremely motivating.

Shady business. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Honolulu Lashes & Glows with Anna,…read moreand I feel it's important to warn others before booking services here. First and foremost, Anna used a sensitive solution on my lashes without informing me or getting my consent beforehand--something that is completely unacceptable in any professional setting. She was aware that I had a previous lash lift (done over a month prior) but still failed to communicate what she was using on my lashes until after the service. I never agreed to a sensitive formula and should have been given the opportunity to make an informed decision. Secondly, Anna initially told me that a touch-up would be free if the solution was too weak--something we had already discussed at the end of my lash lift appointment. But when I reached out unhappy with the results, she completely backtracked and told me I would need to pay for another service. On top of that, she wrote up an entirely new contract stating that I would need to pay for services, which felt extremely unnecessary and only reinforced how unwilling she was to stand by her original word. Her communication throughout this process made it incredibly clear that she was hesitant to take responsibility or help me feel satisfied with my results. It felt like she was doing everything she could to avoid offering the touch-up she had already promised. To make things worse, she refused to validate parking for the follow-up appointment, which just made it even more obvious that she didn't want to do the touch-up at all. That level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is exactly why I won't be returning. I paid close to $120 for a lash lift that I'm not satisfied with, yet there was no resolution on Anna's end. Completely unprofessional to say the least. Lastly, I want to emphasize that I waited well over a month between lash lifts, and I know my body well enough to recognize that my lashes were not damaged prior to this treatment. The outcome I received was unsatisfactory, and rather than offering a solution, Anna made the situation far more stressful and complicated than it needed to be. I've decided I'd rather pay someone else to fix the mistakes made here than continue dealing with a business that is this untrustworthy and unprofessional. On top of taking my money elsewhere, I will be telling everyone I know to also take their business elsewhere and stay away from this shady business.

And if I want she'll add Swarovski crystals to my big toes (no extra charge, ladies) so I almost always get them. She's just the sweetest person. In Aiea. Very easy to arrange appointments online , check out her IG page: Glamorousink. There on her page is her website. And of course her work is beautiful and her price is more in my price range. Her studio was easy to find very clean and very calm. She offered a clean blanket to cover my body and that made me feel extra comfortable with a box at arms reach to place my belongings in. She made me feel right at home. Her perfection in her work is to the tea, I had my eye brows done years prior to this session and the difference is big. She measures and draw my brows according to my face shape, even when I came back to do a retouch she still draw my already tatted eyebrows and still did her measurements , and made sure I see it first to decide if I like it or not. Never have I ever used numbing cream and that works wonders!!! , will stings a little all because the skin is being open but it's bearable, but after a moment, it's like nothing, no pain at all, no worries she will talk through what she's doing to you step by step, which made me feel more at ease. Throughout the session I felt as if I knew her for a long time. Her personality and customer service made this experience fun. Guess what?!? she doesn't just do eyebrows ladies, she offers lips and does small body tattoos. Planning to tattoo my upper and lower eye lids by her soon. And she doesn't work alone, her studio also offer lashes that is done by other artists. And there will be another tattoo artist coming soon to her studio to do regular body tattoos, I'm excited for that. After first session I got one of her personalized After care kit which came with instructions, visors to cover my brows from getting wet in the showers, ointment with q-tips and her business cards, even with my retouch session I still got another After care kit which i that was another big difference comparing her to my previous artist, I didn't even know that I was supposed to do a retouch which my prior artist fail to tell me. But thankfully I didn't do cause price wise I would have paid more because of previous work done. And when I tell you comparing price range from hers to others..she was the lesser price. Least she's being honest and decent. I tell you , the years have changed In this business for the better. And to me Janelle is the better choice to go to. I love my brows now more than ever and it has made my life easier when it comes to putting makeup on, it usually takes me 10-15 mins just to draw them in and to make it even and presentable..lol now I can just wipe my brows without worrying it will smear or come off.. Big MAHALO Jenelle you made me more comfortable and confident with my appearance . I appreciate you

I started my appointment a little early because she was ready and it maybe took 20 minutes total! This was my first time getting sugaring done for a Brazilian. Also, she had an available spot open for me the next day of being in contact with her! Lillian is awesome! She explained exactly what the process was and what she was doing while "sugaring" me. She said that all the products are made of natural ingredients and that the process of sugaring was less painful than waxing. Supposedly the hair grows back lighter and eventually with some maintenance, it doesn't grow back at all! Also, the TV is up high so you can take your mind off of the task at hand. She gets down! hahaha It can be a little uncomfortable at first but she's good at what she does and tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible by talking to you the whole time. I'm so used to waxing so this sugaring thing, wasn't bad at all. She's still pulling out the hairs, however, it's less stressful on your skin. Also, it's cheaper than most spa's that do brazlian waxing. Can't wait to go back to see her again. Don't let the location fool you. The inside of her studio is private and smells nice too. I had an exceptional experience with Lillian! Can't wait to get sugared again! haha
