I wanted to like the pork but it was burnt, dry, & tough. The flavor of the BBQ was good but lacked flavor, like it needed more salt. The pork tasted like it sat in the bottom of the warming pan for hrs & because it was close to pau hana time, I probably got just that. Chicken plate - mac salad - wasn't too bad but his chicken was also burnt. dry, & tough. He ended up only eating half of it & had to toss the rest out. Sad to say, no improvement from the last visit. They still got a 2-star rating because I still got friendly & quick service & the price point was good to include a drink with your plate. It will probably be awhile before I return & maybe next time go earlier in the day for fresher food, to see if it makes a difference vs before closing & getting the scraps.
