Said that we could sit at any open table. First time there, she gave us time to look over the menu. Good selection, one is ground beef which one of my dinning companion likes. Chips and salsa right off the back. Mmmmm. 1) Cheese Burrito plate. Very good. 2) Taquitos plate. Crunchy, not over cooked. 3) Tamale / taco combo plate. I loved that the taco didn't crack in half when I bite into it like some other taco places. 4) Ground beef chimichanga. All plates comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. Pros: Nice portions that would fill you up. Food came hot and fresh. Con: Maybe it might have been me but, I would have like more chip and salsa. There was only one server, so service was slow or maybe it was the kitchen. Not sure. I hate these 3% charge card when paying for your food. Would I go back? Maybe. It's close to where I live and it's not as crowded as other places that are more known. Parking is easy when I went. I like that my crunchy tocos don't break apart when you eat it.

It felt more like a neighborhood spot than a touristy restaurant, which I appreciated. We had the poke nachos, ribs, and laulau. The poke nachos were really good and probably my favorite thing we ordered. Fresh poke with crispy chips and a good mix of flavors. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the laulau tasted homemade and comforting. Portions were solid too. Service was great the whole time. Staff was welcoming, food came out fast, and overall it was just a good experience. Would definitely come back next time I'm in Honolulu.

Mixed bag at this restaurant. My real rating would be 3.5 stars if we could give half stars…read more I had tried calling before we came in to be sure they were open but no answer. Took a chance any way. Server greets everyone who comes in. Too much work for only one server, hard to get taken care of. More than half the tables were full even before 5pm on a Saturday, and there's a steady take out business, too. Looked at the online menu since the server didn't bring us a menu and we were waiting, but it doesn't list the squid luau combo so we had to wait for the server to take our order. She did take care of us before the walk ins that were ordering take out, and we appreciated that. However, turned out squid luau combo wasn't listed online because they were out. Boo. So hubby and I ordered the laulau combo consisting of a nice sized laulau that was tasty, with a nice ratio of pork to leaves, very large scoop of rice, some lomi salmon that was mostly onions that were quite strong and bitter and almost no salmon, pulehu chicken, which was tasty and had a nice char, and haupia, which was good. So food was fifty/fifty. Hubby ordered a coke, which was bottled Mexican (means real cane sugar) which was yummy. They serve Mexican food so I guess they have other Mexican sodas, but I didn't bother to check the menu. We had to ask for water three times because the server was so busy. We had a lot left over since the portions are big. Not sure if we will be back, though. While the server was nice and trying hard to take care of everyone, having to wait to order (another family even came up to ask is they could order after waiting for awhile) and then having to ask for water three times is a turn off for us. Also - no squid luau where's Hawaiian food is served was a major let down for me.

Large, open, bright space with long wooden tables, stools with no backs, and high tables with same. A few big screen tvs mounted on walls with sports going on. Ladies, it's not just a place for beer. They also have delicious variety of cocktails and mocktails. Server was very nice and let us know to use our phones to scan the QR on table. You order from here and pay too. The server won't come to take your order. Not sure how this is handled if you have no phone. They may have menus and drinks written on chalkboard at bar or maybe request a paper menu. She brought us waters with a bottle to refill on our own, plates, cutlery and napkins. Drinks didn't take long and were deliciously concocted. We ordered chips with ahi dip- lots of dip and not enough chips but I'm sure if you asked for more they would acquiesce. Yummy and right flavor not too salty. Also onion rings which were large and plenty in the basket! You had choice of ranch dressing or brown mustard and we wanted to mix so she said no problem and brought them! Then we had to try the dessert flight which were three cute little prepared sweets of crème Brûlée, strawberry shortcake and a brownie with some type of custard on top. Yum! Place was clean, not too loud, and a restroom inside their place which was nice. All the servers were friendly, pleasant and made sure we had what we needed, clearing plates and glasses, keeping table clean. We really enjoyed powering up before power shopping so will return!

QR Code is most current and is rhe only way to place your order. We got rhe Hall Burger and a Smash Burger. The Hall Burger was a nivel thick patty. The Smash Burger was a thin miniscule piece of meat. The Smash comes with Sautéed Mushrooms and Carmelized Onoions. I had to send it back. There was two small slivers of onion and no apparent mushrooms. Server returned to let me know there was mushroom paste, but it says sautéed. Even after sending back my meal there was little change. Slightly more cooked - not caramelized - onions and a smear more mushroom paste. Over all food quality and presentation is poor at best. Descriptions are lacking information or out right deceptive. Prices are high, yet the quality and value are not reflected in the product. Overall the experience was disappointing. Over priced menu items. I would not recommend this establishment unless you are wanting craft beer. The selection of beers are limited.

Service was fast and helpful since it was my first time trying Moe's. Burritos were huge so, I had crunchy tocos with ground beef. Very filling. You can pick what you want in it. Just like the sandwich shop. Your food also comes with chips a cheese dip and green or red salsa. I ordered a burrito. You have so many choices and the amount you want. I chose ground beef, roasted corn, tomatoes, some lettuce, shredded cheese, and olives. It was the perfect amount of ingredients and made the perfect size burrito. Be careful, the roasted corn is spicy. It comes with some chips and cheese sauce. Pros: AARP DISCOUNT. You get full fast. Like making your selection of filling. Free salas, green or red. Would I go back? Yes Cons: Watch out for the spicy corn. First time here, I would go back.

Definitely fulfilled my nacho craving at the time haha. I loaded it with toppings such as queso, guac, sour cream, salsa, lettuce and onions, cilantro and jalapenos. All the toppings tasted pretty fresh, the chips were nicely seasoned and crunchy and the steak was good. I do agree with some of the reviews on here about how the portions, especially for the meat are on the smaller side. My nachos were good but I don't know if it was worth almost $20 good. Other than that, the workers were nice and it was quick to get my food. Just be aware that it will be pricey for not a whole lot of food!
