I ordered the Katsu Curry, Seafood Ramen, and Miso Ramen, and every single dish was out of this world delicious! The Katsu Curry was perfectly crispy with rich, savory curry sauce that had just the right depth of flavor. The Seafood Ramen tasted incredibly fresh, with a flavorful broth that felt like it had been simmering for hours. And the Miso Ramen? Deep, hearty, and comforting the kind of bowl you crave again the moment you finish it. I've had ramen all over the island, including Ramen Ya which is way too salty foods and honestly... Sun Sun Ramen takes the crown for me. The flavors were richer, the portions generous, and everything tasted homemade and authentic. Everything was HOT! Friendly service, intimate atmosphere, and unforgettable food this spot is a MUST-TRY. Will be coming back for more!!

My wonton ramen was good but nothing too special. The broth was nice and not too salty. I tried my boyfriend's gyoza and wasn't a huge fan of corn in the filling. He thought the ramen and fried rice were alright as well. The restaurant is spacious and with plenty of seating tables, and I appreciated how quickly we were seated and how fast the food came out!

I've had a few things off the sushi menu and the Tempura Vegetable Udon and am satisfied with the quality and serving size. Plenty of parking but the shopping center can be busy depending on the time of day, luckily there's lots of parking and a 2-story parking structure. The traffic movement requires drivers to respect the arrows and it takes some learning, but this is one of many good places to get food as well as grocery shopping and other things done!

I ordered the veggie croquette and the veggie tempura set. The veggie croquette was good but could have used more veggies in it. The outside could have been more light and crispy. The vegetable tempura had a good mix of veggies, but I had hoped for some shave radish for my dipping sauce. The keiki meal was such a deal for ramen, edamame, and the teriyaki chicken with rice. Such a good amount of food for both my kids which they couldn't finish. Service was good and quick. The waitress was attentive to refills of drinks. I got a Diet Coke and was so glad they have Coke products and the fountain drinks there. Parking was packed at lunch time but was opening up as we were looking for parking. The stalls and ways of the parking lot can be confusing if you don't go there often.

It was sweet that our server asked to slice the Pork Belly, I didn't even think to ask that when I ordered. My favorite touch will always be the sesame balls at the end of the meal. I wish my Japan trips included ramen but those days it wasn't as popular here. Of course there are gazillion any type of noodle shops then and now in Japan. So wish I could base my criteria on eating real, authentic, 3+ days of simmering pork bones to produce the tonkotsu soup. But alas I haven't and have to go with whatever type of tonkotsu soup here. Gawd only knows if they follow the real method. I think not. But anyway saying that I got the char siu ramen combo with fried rice and gyoza. Firstly I am a freak for wok he, it's my holy grail as I find not even chinese restaurants don't have it. Apparently they don't employ wok masters or they cook the fried rice on the (ack!!) grill. Only those who can really wok can produce that smoky flavor into their fried food. And this fried rice had it spades. Mouthful after Mouthful produced that imparted that delectable flavor. To me if you got wok he you don't need a whole lotta spices cuz that in itself enhances the dish. So yes they have it. Moving on I found the tonkotsu soup to be too salty. Luckily I can dilute it with hot water before eating The gyoza was plump and well gyoza'd. The side order of chicken katsu came with a very delicious romaine side salad with a creamy sweet sauce. Not tangy like Ranch. I enjoyed it very very much. The chicken was nicely golden in panko and tender. Overall I will reorder the delicious wok he char siu fried rice and side chicken katsu again. Loved those two

The concept is simple but satisfying -- you choose your noodle, broth, proteins, spice level, and toppings, and they build your perfect bowl exactly the way you like it. Pro Tip: when picking meat and veg. It is charged by weight so pick lighter stuff if you want a lot of items. Also there is a minimum weight and scale by the items... just no putting back items. It's a great spot for families, picky eaters, or anyone who enjoys variety. Service is friendly, the space is clean, and the ordering process is straightforward. Whether you're in the mood for a comforting tonkotsu or want to experiment with your own creation, this is a solid ramen option in the Aiea area. Perfect for a casual lunch, dinner with friends, or a quick bite after running errands at Pearl Kai. I'll definitely be back to try another combination. The ramen was 3, plenty of broth and noodles (rest of the items you select). The spicy broth was good, not great but good. I liked the amount of noodles given, just seemed to be missing a flavor. The fried chicken was 2 if not less. It was bland and greasy, no crunch and the coating was thin. The sauce given did not help or make it worse. I liked the ramen idea, just not a fan of the overall flavors. Plenty of seating and a small group hanging out there. If you are new, they are helpful to assist in how everything works.
