I really wanted to like this place and become a regular because of the good reviews and brow pics…read more The first time I snagged an appointment I was excited because she is always booked. She wasn't friendly at all, almost in an off putting way. It comes across as she doesn't want new clients and only cares about her repeat clients, which I eventually wanted to become. Went to her again yesterday to get my brows done for my bday. I use retinol but know that I need to stop using it least 3 weeks before. I waited over a month this time just to be cautious. Told her all about it and that I don't want my skin to lift and I took all precautions because it's happened before with another brow artist. The wax hurt a bit more than normal and I asked if my skin lifted and she said no. As soon as I looked in the mirror I could see the skin under my eyebrows came off. I wish she paid more attention or told me the truth about it lifting so I didn't do the other brow. So now I'm going to look like this on my birthday. Definitely regr

Needed to start a monthly facial routine to prep my skin for my upcoming wedding later this year…read more Called MOI the night before my appointment and they were able to take me in Saturday 3pm for a basic facial which included a regular facial, and a neck, shoulder and arm massage. Walking into the appointment, the atmosphere was very quiet. The waiting area was separated by a bookcase which blocks the rest of the facial area. There is a curtain that divides the "hallway" into the facial area, but no separation between all the beds. The whole service took an hour and I'm pretty sure I was knocked out for how relaxing the service was. My skin was super rough and dry walking into the service and came out moisturized and plump. The price is very much worth the experience and I 100% recommend it!

People don't believe me when I tell them it's a tattoo because April does such an amazing job at creating a natural make up look. I've gone to her twice now, once for the initial set, and another for the touch up. The picture in this post features my brows today--with absolutely no make up on! I can't recommend her enough to all my friends and family. My mom and my aunt got their brows done by April and I always say my sister is next! April is so kind hearted and the appointment itself is so fun; we're always chatting and sharing life stories with one another. I currently have my first annual color boost marked in the calendar with April, and I'm excited to touch up my brows even though they still look clean and fresh! 5/5 Stars - Beyond Talented with a Heart of Gold! I have…read morebeen going to Michelle at Promise Lash in Temple City for seven years, and shame on me for taking this long to write the review she so truly deserves! Today was a wonderful testament to not only Michelle's incredible skill, but also her incredible heart. She casually mentioned to me today that my very first appointment with her was way back in September 2011--or as she playfully puts it, "9/11." It reminded me of just how accommodating she has been all these years. With my crazy schedule, I rarely book far in advance; instead, I'm famous for sending her last-minute "911" texts asking if she has any openings. Even though she loves to tease me about how "busy" I am, she always finds a way to squeeze me in and save the day! Beyond her flexibility, her work is top-notch. Michelle carefully selects the best lashes tailored specifically to my eyes, giving me a fresh, vibrant, and youthful glow. Her work is so seamless and flattering that I've completely stopped wearing makeup (except for a lip gloss!) and have fully embraced a "natural beauty" routine--all thanks to her! Plus, her prices are wonderfully budget-friendly (around $40 to $60 for a classic set, depending on the style), making high-quality lash care accessible and sustainable. Most importantly, Michelle is a business owner with a true heart of gold. She genuinely cares about her clients and community. When I was preparing to travel to a third-world country with a non-profit organization to serve Christmas Eve meals, Michelle stepped up and helped raise funds. Her generosity directly helped provide over 300 meals to people in need so they could enjoy a special holiday meal. If you are looking for someone who provides phenomenal quality, reasonable prices, exceptional service, and genuinely cares about people, look no further. Michelle is simply the best!
