The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

The sandwich was great and really salty (per the custom), but the bread became soggy pretty quick. I would dip it in the jus and try to bite it but the meat just couldn't be bit through and no matter how hard I tried it just made a sloppy mess. That was disappointing. The wings were ordered Medium Hot which they warn you is "Very Hot"... but it isn't. They were good, but next time I will order Hot because there was little to no burn. The fries were the frozen variety but nice, skinny and crispy. I liked dipping them in the leftover wing sauce. Next time, I will skip the sandwich and just get wings and fries. Hopefully it won't take me 5 years to come back.

My sister and I took our mom out to dinner and picked this spot since it's closer to her than us…read more None of us had been before, so we were going in blind. When we walked in, another customer was raving about the food and telling us how much we'd enjoy it, which honestly made me feel a lot better about trying somewhere new in an unfamiliar area. The vibe is like a bar turned restaurant, dark and a little moody but not off-putting. My mom even got a cutesy leprechaun margarita, which made her smile. We started with 10 mild wings for the table, my sister got a Caesar salad and said the dressing tasted homemade, and this is where I tried French onion soup for the first time. It was okay, just really salty. My mom ended up finishing it, but I did like that the cheese layer wasn't too heavy. I'm still on the hunt for a French onion that really does it for me. I didn't get pictures of the mains, but my mom and I both got steak, I had mashed potatoes and she got a baked potato. My sister got the fettuccine alfredo and marveled at the flavor. She kept saying you can tell it's a local spot and not a chain just by the care put into it. My steak was good, nothing crazy but you really can't go wrong. The mashed potatoes were a little bland but still edible. My mom loved her meal and finished everything, while my sister and I both had leftovers. The only downside was the service. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, kind of impatient and a little passive aggressive, like we were bothering her just by being there. Given the lack of diversity in the area, it didn't completely surprise me, but it was still noticeable. We didn't let it ruin the night though. Overall we still enjoyed it and I'd go back if I'm ever in Batavia again. Reasonable prices, solid food. Taking everything into account, I'd give it a 6.9/10.

He was a professional restaurateur who was paid to sit with celebrities at the posh places he worked in South Florida in the 70s. Whatever else is said, the man had high standards in food and dining experience. When he opened, and for years after the place was always packed and very popular. The food was high quality and your meal came with 2 sides, salad, hot bread and nice presentation at a reasonable price. Alex left the business several years ago and the current owner has run it for some time. Today was my first time back in several years. The outside looks dated and needs a refresh. I almost thought it was closed. It was 2:30pm on Saturday before Mother's Day and almost empty. I don't recall it ever not being full of people waiting at the bar for a table. Until today. The decor is ok although I don't care for the fringe lamps directly over your head. I was going to get ribs but decided on 10 oz prime rib ($32.00) comes with 1 side (I chose baked potato - only sour cream and butter is offered). No salad unless you pay extra! The warm bread was fine with two kinds of butter. My companion had the Kids spaghetti $(8.99). My prime rib came out and it looked about half the normal thickness it should be and in a puddle of juice. Even the server commented about why the kitchen did that. And it was warm, at best. No horseradish or other condiments were offered. No garnish on the plate. Just a thin slab of meat. The juice should have been in a separate cup. But the small baked potato was steaming hot! My companion had a giant pile of spaghetti with about a 1/4 cup of sauce on top! Too little for the mound of spaghetti. And it looked like cheap jar sauce and no meatballs. She didn't mind but I wasn't thrilled. And her fountain drink did not come with the meal ($3.99)! I had a lavender lemon drop martini that was ok. ($10). Ultimately the food is mediocre and it feels like they are cutting corners to keep prices down. But that means it's no longer the special place it used to be. Sad.

If you're looking for the quintessential sports bar experience, Tully's hits the nail on the head…read more In a smaller town setting, it's more than just a place to grab a beer; it's the local heartbeat, especially on game days. The atmosphere is high-energy, packed with screens, and carries that welcoming, "everyone's a regular" vibe that chain restaurants in big cities usually fail to replicate. The Menu: Something for Everyone One of Tully's biggest strengths is its massive variety. Whether you're with a group of picky eaters or a crowd with wildly different cravings, the menu is built for it. They cover the full spectrum of comfort food--from hearty burgers and fresh salads to pastas and steaks. The drink list is equally robust, offering everything from ice-cold domestic drafts to creative cocktails that pair perfectly with a loud afternoon of football. The Stars of the Show: Asian Chicken Tenders You can't talk about Tully's without mentioning the tenders. While they are famous for their original recipe, the custom Asian chicken tenders are a total game-changer. They strike that elusive balance of a crispy, hand-breaded exterior tossed in a sauce that delivers a sophisticated sweet-and-spicy kick. It's a flavor profile that keeps you coming back for "just one more" until the basket is empty. Don't Skip Dessert While many sports bars treat dessert as an afterthought, Tully's treats it like a main event. They are legendary for two specific treats: * Homemade Cheesecake: It's rich, creamy, and clearly made in-house with a level of density you usually only find in high-end bakeries. * Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: This is a decadent masterpiece. It's the perfect end for anyone who loves that classic salty-sweet combo, featuring a silky texture that melts instantly. The Verdict: Tully's proves that you don't need to be in a major metro area to find top-tier bar food. With its massive portions, "Best in Show" tenders, and a dessert menu that rivals a pastry shop, it remains the gold standard for small-town sports dining. Would you like me to help you find the closest Tully's location or look up their current seasonal drink specials?

There are literally dozens of TV's all around. The barmaid was friendly and brought some popcorn. I ordered a 22 oz. glass of Tully's pilsener which was only $5.50! The beer was good. I had heard that their chicken tenders are their go-to item, so that's what I chose, and I was not disappointed. There was a choice of dipping sauce and I went with their standard honey mustard, which I enjoyed. I can recommend Tully's as a good place to come to watch a game.
