This place definitely worth a visit! We ended up sitting outside because it felt a little too warm inside. The wait for our food was a little longer than expected, but once it arrived, it was absolutely worth it. The Beef on Weck was incredible. The fries were perfect--crispy, not over-fried, and a generous portion. We asked for malt vinegar, and that took them to a whole new level. They were absolutely to die for. The chicken fingers were just okay for me. They were huge, and I personally get a little skeeved out by really large pieces of chicken, so they weren't my favorite. That's just a personal preference, though. Overall, the food was delicious and we'd definitely love to come back! read more

I wanted to like this place. They have a soup and salad bar- which I love. I ordered the fish fry but the crust is potato chips. I only had a few bites and found a hair that wasn't mind in it..... Fine I know that happens but she offered to make a new one which would take awhile and everyone was almost done so I said no. The worst part though was that she left the dish on the table the entire meal. Cute old time saloon. Big bar room with 4 small dinning rooms. Does get crowded early on Friday on Saturday . Known for their potato chip crusted fish fry and traditional beer battered. Fish comes with fries and there is a salad bar with 2 soups, salad fixings, coleslaw , macaroni , potato and German potato salads. Everything is home made very fresh and delicious! Soup and salad and bread are all you can eat but save room for your great fish dinner! They also have a full menu with many great selections. It was a 30 min drive for us but worth it the wait staff was awesome! Might just be back when I'm looking for a relaxing drive on a nice day! read more

We went on a Friday for the haddock fish fry. They had something I've never had potato chip crusted fish fry WOW ! It was very crunchy and very good. The wife had the beer battered and said it was awesome! The dinner includes a soup and salad bar. It was crammed in a corner in front of the kitchen entrance which was awkward but worth it! They had two choices for home made soups. A seafood chowder and a unique Hamburger soup, both were awesome! All the home made noodle salad, potato salads and coleslaw were great but by far the best thing at the salad bare was a phenomenal German potato salad that had to be made by a loving grandmother, best I've had in 30 years! The German potato salad will bring be back ! The fish was good but not in my top three? The service was awesome, friendly, funny and attentiveness! read more

Stopped here after seeing that they have a patio. While there, on a Saturday evening, there was live music being played by someone I assume is a staple musician. Seemed that there were many locals/regulars but every interaction that we had was friendly and comfortable. Everything was made to order and seemed fresh. Drinks were cold and the selection was fair. It was a nice, relaxed atmosphere that's right up my alley. read more

I ordered a smothered beef sub. A large. It was pretty good.. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I read the menu online and it said the sub was 12.95. When I got there I was charged over 21 dollars! For a beef sub! I received a paper menu to put in my work truck and didn't see ANY prices on it. Figures... If they would have charged me 15 dollars for an OK sub that would have been OK. I could get a fricking Wegmans sub for cheaper than that and it's far more superior and larger! Yea these guys lost some customers today. Sad. I really wanted a French dip. Two stars because I know the food is good. Got there, waited. Got up saw bar was busy.. not too busy. Sat down. There was at least 3 waitresses. One walked right past me, no acknowledgement. Second after five minutes from the first.. so and so is coming, is it just you? Yes.. wait five more minutes... finally the owners asks.. has anyone served you? Nope. Have had ppl walk by and stop. But no one even said "Hey, so and so is coming. Would you like a drink?" Owner goes into the back. Still waiting... I got up and left. Unfortunate. I don't blame the owners, and the wait staff didn't seem like the few regular waitresses. I have worked in this industry as a waitress, bartender, manager and hell even cooked. If you see someone waiting and your want them to stay. At least take a drink order. read more

From the honey fried chicken to the bourbon beans to the macaroni and cheese to the pineapple Cole slaw (yes! You get 3 sides with this meal!). In the mood for a Friday fish we figured on trying My Saloon as we have only been here for drinks and appetizers. Great friendly service from our waitress. The large fish for $12 that comes with the soup and salad bar cant be beat. The salad bar looks small but I found it had everything I needed and more boiled eggs, peas, fresh leeks, beats. I did have to ask for French dressing as the bar only had 3 choices. The server brought it right out just not sure why it isn't out already. The regular fish was fresh, cooked perfect. The menu has a potato chip fish that I will have to give a try one night. Besides the French dressing not on the salad bar my only complaint was we sat in the back of the room and it was cold. Can't take anything off for that as it was 20 degrees outside, maybe a little heater like the front has would help. Overall A+ thank you My Saloon we will be back! read more

My husband & a bunch of friends had been out to the Batavia Rod & Gun club all morning and were in need of drinks and lunch so we all decided to stop in here on our way home. This wasn't our 1st time here but it had been a few years. We invaded the bar area! The Daytona 500 was on so there were a bunch of people already hanging out which made for a nice crowd on a Sunday. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch wrap -see my picture I uploaded - It was HUGE! This was the BEST wrap I have ever had! It was filled with turkey, bacon, cheese and lettuce and had just the right amount of ranch dressing! It was perfect! Most of our crew ordered burgers and wings, which all looked delicious! Stopped by on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to listen to music and have a bite to eat. This had to be one of Darien's best kept secret. First step inside you feel like you have just arrived at someone's Country home. It is so uniquely decorated inside. First thing I noticed was an upside down Christmas tree patriotically decorated with American flags. We were able to sit outside on the patio to dine. Service was on point and our food arrived hot and quick. We dined on a grilled Cajun chicken salad that was packed with fresh and crisp vegetables, a perfectly grilled chicken sandwich with hot and crispy fries, and a basket of munchies that included chicken strips, pizza logs, onion rings and french fries. I highly recommend coming out if you have never been and look forward to returning again soon. read more

What a great place! I had been in here before for a quick meeting or two, but this time I had the opportunity to stay for an extended period of time. I am so glad that I did. The afternoon crowd was a polite and pleasant as can be. It was cold outside but inside was warm and comfy. The food was great and the drinks were cold. It is probably one of the most comfortable places that I have ever been in WNY. The only negative potential during this experience was the front entry door was used by a smoker who did not want to go outside and get cold. However the negative turned into a positive because the owner (Denise) came from out of the kitchen at once and addressed it immediately. Great food and drink, great atmosphere, great owners. Stayed at The amusement park for a few days and wanted to eat off-site. Boy was this an affordable little gem we found! Had a platter to start that was enough to feed 3 people. Had the seafood platter for my meal. The beans were u like I ever had, definitely western style with different kinds of beans. The shrimp were plump with a nice crisp to each bite. The four of us were stuffed and had plenty of takeout left over. The bill was $20 less than expected and was glad to leave that as a tip today. Will definitely eat here again next time. read more

Just left.... It was amazing, and a must the next time we are back in WNY. The inside is beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and always there without hovering, or making you feel rushed. We were a party of seven, and there was never an empty glass. The food was gorgeous and delicious. Our dinner choices were: Cajun chicken salad with grilled vegetables, The Royal Sub, build your own quesadillas, and two John Wayne burgers. We left nothing on our plates and the servings were huge!! The sweet potato fries were such a great suprise, because they were cut thin and fried to golden brown, they were perfect. Many thanks for such a wonderful dinner. read more

Looking for a new place for dinner on a Sunday evening around 6 pm. Thinking it would be a good time to try this place out. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere not so. Ourselves and another table with Kids sat by a table of 5 young adults who decided to use the "f..k" word in every sentence during our whole time there. It also seemed the waitress knew them.
