Never knew a neighborhood bar can offer a food menu to enjoy there or order for pick up or delivery…read more(through a third party) The foods are pretty good. I have tried several items such as street tacos, quesabirria tacos, burritos, Barbacoa (soup) and menudo (soup). My favorites are the weekend red menudo which has no hominy, but wish it did and the burrito (in both sizes). Menudo is one of the best in the area (I shouldn't say that too loud, but it's true). It's not watered down like other restaurants, it's full bodied and meats (tripe and pata) are soft. I do wish we had an option of hominy that we can request. Burrito have been filling as I have tried several meats. It's heavy to the hand and filling to anyone's belly. Sometimes I enjoy for 2 mini meals in a day. Quesa birria tacos are the third favorite. Cheesy, crispy and greasy in the best way. Consume is flavorful too. The least favorites are the barbacoa (soup) as itwas mostly broth and minimal shreds of beef, if any. The tacos are enjoyed by family, but there is an abundance of a taste or flavor I don't prefer. I maybe wrong but I think it's oregano (but again not 100%). The third not so fav are the regular nachos with just cheese and jalepeno. Also, a negative is that 2 orders were missing items. So check your bags to make sure. So thats not a good feeling when that part of someone's order but recourse is to drive back or let third party know to get a few dollars off. We prefer to receive order and enjoy. Not to follow up with a drive back or a complaint of an item shortage to get refunded a few bucks. Otherwise the staff inside are very nice and understanding. The menudo and burrito are favorited of mine. I will follow up and order other dishes or appetizers, along with the weekend red menudo.

It's still a bit too dim for board gaming, but we will take what we can get. This negative is what I'm constantly hearing from everyone when I'm hosting games. I don't need it looking like a laboratory, but if every bulb was upgraded by 200lumens, it would solve the issue. I understand they want the space looking ambient. But hey, cater to your demographic. The LED strips that were put in a few months ago was a step in the right direction. 2. The new TitanTron thing. It's fabulous looking. And really showcases what's meant to be highlighted during events. 3. New additions to the food menu. This was sorely needed. Many of us were constantly leaving to go elsewhere to grab sustenance. I think many OGs still aren't aware of it, but it's slowly catching on. We tend to have blinders on if there aren't pictures. Maybe try just a poster or two somewhere to boost your sales? 4. The Game Corner Being able to borrow games is fantastic and has really grown the space and hobby as a whole. I see plenty of people diving into the hobby for the first time and it's wonderful to see. Instead of walking in and only dilly dallying for 30min, many are now staying for an hour or two. 5. Utilizing the entire space. For years, I saw the extra rooms sit empty and was mind blown. As a former manager in hospitality, that blew me away. That's basically pissing money down the drain. You're paying the lease on the space. Why wouldn't you put it all to use? Hire an events manager if you need to--part time even. Trust me, it pays off. I'm now seeing the extra rooms consistently used/booked. Anything that attracts bodies to the space is a good thing. Often, energy is what makes an establishment successful. And energy will beget energy. I'll come back when I have more time to list what I still don't like:

I called to make a VIP room reservation, and the staff member was helpful and patient in explaining the situation with the rooms (essentially that there were a few other large parties with reservations on that day, might need to switch rooms at some point). It was fine and I booked a room. When we arrived, the staff member found our reservation right away and wrote down the time that we checked in as our starting time. He was thorough in showing us how the karaoke system works, which was necessary because it's kind of confusing. Overall the customer service was great. We ended up using YouTube, but their account doesn't let you queue songs so you have to search each new song after the current one is done. It worked out fine but wasn't ideal because it adds time in between songs and you can't queue a song every time you think of one. Also, the touchscreen is mounted to the wall so you have to physically go to type the songs in. The room looked clean and they were upfront about a 15% service fee (though I disagree with the concept of having a fee -- just add extra to the base price so people know off the bat what the price will be instead of having to calculate it). You're allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks. The sound system worked well. If you can adjust your standards in terms of UX on the karaoke system itself, this is a decent place.

The shoes give that sliding feel, the floor is all polished and clean, I by far get the most accurate shots, and the rounds resets are pretty quick. Even with a big campus, not that much students go bowling so it's a great time to go here any day.
