Was a great spot because of only the pool tables but the staff there is horrendous. Indian guy with glass complaining about doing HIS JOB to me talking about "i have to fix all the problems here" just because i was doing a "massè shot" okay no problem i wont do it again but just continues to stare at me while im trying to play the game with my girl making us extremely uncomfortable just for playing the game and then proceeds to come back meanwhile we just playing the game and continues to complain about the shot that i already said i wont do again and then proceeds to kick us out because of his childish ego, like what they pay you for to make people uncomfortable or actually do your job which clearly he wasn't doing because all he was there doing was playing pool himself and watching me play instead of doing his job. Great pool hall. They have a fairly expansive menu which I haven't tried. My usual pool hall was closed and I was pleased to discover Jimmy's. They have mostly bar size tables but they have some pocket less tables and some 9 footers as well. 8 bucks an hour for a 7 footer for one person, 15 an hour for 2 players. Lighting is good, tables are in acceptable condition, better than a bar but show some wear. I would encourage you to check it out if you are nearby. read more

I've frequented jimmys dozens of times for many years and had nothing but great experiences with every one of the staff members. Tonight was a different experience. I asked the girl behind the desk named Jasmine if the kitchen was closed and if we could order, she confirmed it was closed, I ordered DoorDash food to the establishment. Meanwhile she had simultaneously ordered chipotle. But since it's not within policy to have outside food once I asked her. I went back my table as a 40 year old adult and closed the food boxes and were on the mission to finish up our pool game and pitcher of beer as regular patrons. She decided to come up with the music turned off to make a very obnoxious scene and threaten police and vehemently yell at us to get out as if we were trespassers and not paying customers. I've built a reputation within this establishment for many years, this was incredibly disrespectful and not becoming of a Turkish ran business. Miss Olga has always opened the door for us to be a patron of this establishment, but Jasmine was attempting to create a riot by yelling incorrectly about pizza to very loyal customers that had referred many people to come to jimmys. She literally yelled "get the f*** out" in an unprovoked manner and that to me is completely unacceptable. Bystanders even saw the exchange and came out to offer condolences knowing this is very abnormal. Every pool hall I've been to charges a flat rate by the hour. Jimmys charges per person per hour. There is no reason to charge per person other than to grab as much money as they can. I came in a group of five and we were there three hours, sharing one table. In addition to ordering drinks, entrees and appetizers, our table rental alone was over $90. That was excessive. Very happy Edgie's reopened after the Pandemic closure sometime in 2021, now as newly owned Jimmy's Billiards, replacing the 9' Gold Crowns with 9' and 7' Diamond tables. This is the closest pool hall near my home, so I'm glad this opened up. However, the pricing is high, e.g. $7.50 per hour per player before 5pm. That's $15 an hour before 5pm for 2 players. At the similarly nice pool hall California Billiards, it is $8 per hour for 2 players before 5pm, and $16 after 5pm. So, at Jimmy's I'm basically paying the night time rate at most pool halls. It might be cheaper to drive and play in Fremont, but for convenience and playing not more than an hour, it's still worth it. Yeah, I'm a cheapskate sometimes. read more

Used to come here all the time when it was previously Edgie's Billiards. Now under new ownership as Jimmy's Billiards, this place has leveled up in all aspects. Tables are new and updated...you have the choices of 9ft, 7ft, and snooker tables. Very clean and the food and drink menu is so much better than previous ownership. My husband and I come here so often (almost daily) to practice/play that we ended up getting the monthly membership which is well worth it considering how much we would have paid without it. Came here for the first time last weekend for a 9 ball tournament. From a pool players perspective, they have great quality tables amongst their barbox, 4 1/2 x 9 and 3-cushion tables. Plenty of room between tables and a fair amount of seating. My only small complaint the ratio of 9ft to barbox tables but I suppose you have to find a balance with a good chunk of your $ coming from casual players. That said they have a couple of 9ft with 4.25 inch pockets for those who want to challenge themselves. Jimmy works the floor and is very hands on which shows me that he has a passion for the business which shows. Parking is also very ample. What food I did have was great. The fries were absolutely perfect and my hotlink was cooked really well and had the required "snap" . Wish this place was closer but will definitely be back for other tournaments read more

I use to love this place but my most recent experience tonight made me never want to come again. Me and my boyfriend came in and were greeted by this older blonde lady with sholder length hair she wasn't very friendly during out transaction to get our billiard. We came back after getting our table and setting up for a beer as we only intended to stay one or two round and were planning to share a beer. As we approached the bar not only was she rude she simply said we just got there play a game and she wouldn't serve us. We were shocked and asked this old lady if she was serious to which she responded "yes I am you just set up" when I called this worker out for being so rude when we only wanted a beer while we played and we have never had this experience previously coming here she had nothing to say as I told her I was baffeled by how rude she was and if your going to advertise drinking and bee ads make sure to have a sign STATING you wont sell unless you play ONE game no one in this establishment stated that when we purchased and showed our IDS when we bought our table when checking in. Very disappointed and me and my friends will not be back. read more
