Place for flat and warm beers
Raj T.

I tried the steak super burrito $15--meh. I also ordered a Mango Cart $8 and a Stell $8,, but both beers were not cold enough and were flat. Margarita was okay $14. There was no A/C inside either, which made the experience even worse. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place.

First time here.....Yelp lead me here Cool little dive bar that is literally under an over pass Parking is easy to come by Venue is clean and bar is well stocked, Prices are reasonable, drinks are ok, vibe is chill no drama. Food is ok, we shared the birria sliders not bad at all!! I would come back here again if I am ever in the area

Wine ($8) & Double Jameson Neat ($18)
Elena N.

Date: Friday, November 8th, 2024 Time: around 8:30pm Party of: 4 *Old Fashion ($12) *Wine ($8) *Jameson and Ginger ($9) *Double Jameson Neat ($18) x2 *A Beautiful ($24) *Glenlivet 12 ($14) My group was in Fremont and looking for a spot to grab a few drinks. A friend suggested Tequila Shots since he's from this area. We walked in and found a table by the door. We took turns going up to the bar to order rounds. I believe the recap above only encompasses two rounds of drinks. One of my gfs is a wine drinker, so she ordered a glass of wine. Their offerings for red wine were limited, but the pour itself was very generous. My default drink at bars is Jameson. It's typically not too pricey and a reliable irish whiskey. Tho the pour for a double was inconsistent. I did get my first round in a snifter which was a nice touch. The power went out while we were here which was kinda funny. Not sure if they have a generator or anything for blackouts, but everything came back up in a few mins. There was a table filled with lit up sports gear, so that helped light the space when the power was out. A nice bar to grab drinks. Funny enough, no one in our group ordered tequila. I believe they do happy hour 10am to 6pm every day. (I may be recalling the sign I read incorrectly.) If I find myself in this area during that time, I wouldn't mind coming back. REVIEW #3621

Great food and drinks! We love seeing the Silver Dragon and his staff to accommodate us with good drinks and food. We like ordering his signature cocktails - Strawberry shortcake and Scooby snack. I love ordering my midori sours and mai tais when I'm with friends. We ordered quesabirria tacos and the flautas. The tacos were super cheesy and came with the consume. It had so much flavor with the onions and cilantro in it and in the tacos. They each were about $4. The flautas were crispy with creama, lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa served on the side with the cotija cheese to sprinkle.

Daily specials & happy hour

My cousin told me about this place years ago and I finally got to check it out. I was in the area and was glad that their happy hour is everyday from 11am - 6pm. Its a nice spot with parking next to the building. The service was great! Bartender was very attentive. They do sell food, so I decided to try out a carne asada tacos and al pastor and it was surprisingly good! I will most definitely stop by again whenever I'm in the area and try other food items.

Nacho Fries, cheese all the way through not just on top. Fries are like double fried to hold up to a crunch too

What a great place, the staff is friendly too. It's not a huge place so it's kinda intimate in a way. I have never seen any sketchy people here not even once. Food is really good, I have had alot of their items. I rather spend my money here and I drive about 20 minutes just to get here. They have sports on all the time, 7 tvs with good sound as well. Very affordable and it's always clean as well.

I hadn't been here in years, and we decided to visit this past Sunday (night before National Tequila Day!). The place was far more modern, more colorful, and a lot brighter than I remember (that's cuz it was really dark and drab before). A casual atmosphere offering a pool table, dartboard, ample seating, a few TVs, and random decor to go along with the random music (rnb, rock, oldies, and more). The cocktails here (whiskey sour, lemon drop, kentucky mule, etc.) were fine, pretty good actually, but not good enough for me to want to return anytime soon. The wait for drinks was ridiculous, even with the place neither crowded nor busy (some drinks were 10-15 minutes wait, others 25-30 minutes wait... for one drink). There was only one bartender and he was seemingly doing his best, making everything fresh (chopping up the garnish for each drink, etc.), a friendly guy, just slow. At least he gave me a little extra when he made my last drink. I'm pretty sure this establishment has better days, maybe when more than one bartender shows up to work. By the way, they serve food till 11:45pm (bar closes at 2am).

This is my must stop under Calaveras blvd! Family owned bar, that are usually opening up at 10am. Live edge bar with seating for you and a date, or the whole crew. Outdoor patio seating, allows you to enjoy a lunch under the sun. Lots of cold beers on tap, and your hearts desire for stronger liquor. But MY personal favorite!!! The food! Why the heck is the food so good? The consomé that comes with the birria taco's is beyond delicious. My taco's always end up in it as well. Lovely spicy house salsa on the taco's just makes that cold beer taste so perfect. Saturday and Sunday #Pazole #Menudo by the huge bowl, all the extras!! If you have not gone here yet, then you are missing out.

I enjoy Rojo menudo and always looking for the next better bowl :). Is the menudo made from scratch from home or from the restaurant kitchen? Is it served all day only on…

Our menudo is rojo and only available on Saturday and Sunday ( sometimes some left for Monday but usually sells out by Sunday afternoon). It’s prepared fresh every week on premises. I hope you come in try it and you be the judge and let us know. Thx…

What was most frustrating was that there was a male waiter actively serving the entire section around us, yet he never once came over, made eye contact, or even acknowledged that we were there. The waitress I eventually flagged down was great and did her best to make up for the lost time, which I really appreciated. The food is decent--pretty standard bar food--but overall, I was disappointed with the service. Sitting for 15 minutes while watching the tables around you being served and not even receiving a simple "hello" or "I'll be right with you" is unacceptable.

The servers were very nice, things just took a long time to come out. We quickly learned to order more as they were bringing things out. The food was great. We took advantage of the 1/2 off appetizers. We ordered the steamed pork wontons, pork egg rolls, pot stickers, and a full order of wings. The wontons were juicy and had a nice subtle umami flavor. The pork egg rolls were crispy and had a balanced flavor of veggies and meat, the pot stickers were juicy and full of meat, the wings were crispy and well seasoned. We opted for mango habanero and jalapeño orange. The jalapeño orange was chefs kiss. It was a nice sticky citrus glaze with a nice heat to the palette. The mango were a bit underwhelming and lacked heat. The drinks were hot or miss on the happy hour menu. The old fashion was too sweet, the Tito's mule smelled like feet and tasted awful, the Pueblo view margarita was good. You could taste the tequila and it balanced well with the mixers. The ambiance is casual and gives pub/bar scenes. They have large tv, bar seating, booths, and tables. I would definitely come again.
