Super chill place to kick it with plenty of activities including pool, arcade, darts, sports, and drinks. The only reason this place received 3 stars is because when my girlfriend asked for a drink, they not only ID her two separate times, but required her to purchase two drinks?!?! My friends and I came to Fast Eddy's to watch the Super Bowl yesterday and we had a great time! There was plenty of seating, lots of arcade games and pool tables, and a good selection of beer and snacks. I had an Ace Pear Cider, and my friends had White Claws and beer. The bartenders were friendly and got our drinks to us quickly, even with the large crowd. We ended up sitting on the edge of some of the pool tables because most of the seating was taken, but there was plenty of room to stand downstairs, and they also have an upstairs area that you can access. They also welcome kids until a certain time, so there were lots of families here to watch the game together. For this particular day, they had a table of 49ers themed food and cookies, but we weren't sure if this was available for anyone to take, or if it was for a private party. It would have been super helpful to have had a sign to let people know. Overall, this is a great place to watch a game with a group and grab a beer. We'll be back! read more

Was here last night for the first time in a good decade. Only thing that's changed is the beer selection might have gotten a little better, but everything else is as classic as can be. Great place to catch up with some friends, rack em up, and throw a few back. They have a bunch of fried snacks that really hit the spot after a few. Coming here made me realize how awesome it is that spots like this still exist. My group and I went to order and asked the chashier if she needed a name so she can find us when our food is ready. She looked at me (Asian) then a friend (the only other Asian) and made the comment "don't worry I won't forget your faces". We didn't think much of it since we were the only ethnically mixed group. Over an hour passes by and we haven't gotten our food or billiards set even though there were many open tables. We went up to the bar to ask and finally got half our food (chicken wings and fries), as they forgot the other half, and our billiards set. We play two games and still have not gotten the rest of our food. Yet again, we had to go up and ask. However when we got our pizza bites and Mac and cheese balls, we received ranch and soy sauce. I don't know if it's because our group had the only 2 Asians in the whole place but you certainly don't eat soy sauce with any of the food we ordered. read more

As a local, I'm fond of this place. It has a family-owned vibe. That being said, it's worth mentioning that "family-owned" usually means the equipment isn't great, but that's not the case. They keep the felt fairly fresh, more so than you would expect. The sticks are above average as well. The place is pretty old and it shows here and there. They've been kicking it since '69 or '70, so a lot of history. Parking is never a problem, especially after dark. Above all, I find this to be a safe place. I've spent a lot of time there and never heard or saw any loud arguments, much less fights. These days, that's worth mentioning. read more

Its a great place to go with some friends and have a good time. They have a high end jukebox that plays almost any song you can think of. The women's restroom is always clean when i go. Also the beer selection is great! They have something for everyone (ipa, pale ales, light beer, etc). The owner Todd is extremely friendly and has a great dry sense of humor! I've been going to Fast Eddy's for awhile and I did love it, but tonight things went south. One of my female friend was assaulted by a customer. The female staff (only female staff at the time) didn't handle it well and instead gave excuses as to why he did what he did trying to defend him. Apparently they're good homies I guess...They even asked if my friend had ever been to a bar before because apparently things like these happen all the time... and to them...it's perfectly normal to be assaulted...Which is BULLSHIT. So if they are openly promoting rape culture...I'm sorry we will not be returning anymore. And it's a shame because this was my number one billiards place. read more

you know, i haven't been to many pool halls, and i only recently picked the game up. but, i really like this place, and that's coming from a 20-something girl who isn't perfect at it by any means. it's just, exactly what it looks like - pool with (to me) good tables, it's clean, the people are nice enough, and the prices are solid (pro-tip: you can pay for half an hour so at the time of me writing this review it's $6/hour but I only had 30 minutes so I paid $3). I just played solo, no one bothered me, i got a little better, no complaints homiez! (However!!! i have read a review by an "M G." on this place about being harassed by some other customer and the staff did nothing about it which is really messed up - i can only speak on my one-time experience though) read more

The crowd is mixed from old to young and on Tuesday nights, ladies play for free. It's perfect place to chill with a group of people, or even hang with a few just a few friends. I was genuinely trying to be nice but she was so rude to me and my group so many times. I am out of town celebrating my friends birthday. Ah some good times are to be had here.... Granted it is not the safest of places or the best looking nor does it have the greatest crowd in the world but if you enter with a live and let live approach to life then you should come out just fine. And for gods sake please make it seem like you are a local and not some "culledge edujidicated brat". My first suggestion is to go on tuesday nights with a bunch of girls and then you can get in and play the billiards for free. Tuesday is ladies night if you hadn't figured it out. Stopped in last Saturday for a beer after going for a (bike ride) route-scout with my girl who was gonna be riding her unicycle (I rode my rode-bike:) in the Mermaid Duathlon the next day. I've been there before so I knew it was a bit dark and probably would be quite on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived with an expired Groupon, expecting to have one beer after our ride to Freedom Blvd. and ended up spending a couple of hours, watching football, golf and having lunch from Takara with our new friend Todd (manning the bar) and a couple of other nice guys who were friends of his. Stopping in there was the perfect fit before cleaning-up and heading off to our first party...I was having so much fun talking sports and just shootin'-the-shit it was hard to leave. We just went to FAST EDDYS to play pool ... lots of fun .. now I am not billiard brawler.. I barely hit the cue stick into the ball and I am not even sure that is what you call them .. the place open and airy so no one can really tell if you suck like I do.. I mean, I am really good at lots of things.. baking, bbq'ing, quilting, horses, nutrition.. but playing pool is not one of them... it makes it nice when I can practice and play with no pressure and no one eagle eyeing me! I hate that! There you are.. staring down this long polished stick .... and there they are.. the lurkers.. all watching to see you either eat it or make it.. its stressful man!! For reals! Like watch your own game so I can pretend I am a pool shark over hereah!! (((Yes HEREAH IS A WORD!!)))) This place is the worst place for billiards. Despite them having a rodent issue due to their uncleanliness; the service here is so bad. The place is always really dirty, I can only imagine how bad the rats get at night. I wouldn't eat the bar food here for that matter. Also the lady at the front desk is really rude. Seems like a racist A HOLE too because she wouldn't let my brother in with a Mexican ID when he is clearly was way past 21. He wasn't asking for alcohol nor was my party all we were trying to do was play some pool. This place should get new management or something because the way it's being ran is terrible. read more

Fast Eddy's gets a 4 star rating from me simply because it's so nice to actually see a pool hall/billards place that's fun, rowdy, and what you would consider, the *typical* pool hall scene. Yeah. I think I had one of my movie moments, where I felt like I was in "Dazed and Confused" while I was playing pool here. The energy emanating from the patrons here will definitely get you pumped up to drink beer, play pool and have a great time. The music selection is quirky- they played everything from Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" to Guns and Roses's "Sweet Child o Mine". And most importantly, the pool hall area was large and clean! They have 2 stories, with 3 different rooms to play pool in, so you don't bump into people as they're gearing up to take the shot at the 8 ball. As I look into my magic 8 ball, I for see that I will be visiting Fast Eddy's more in the future! read more
