All of the tables were dirty but when I pointed this out the person who waited on us cleaned our table and continued to clean the rest of the tables throughout the restaurant. Hey, I've always been a Hardee's fan. Well, not always. I've been a Hardees fan for most the last 30 years, ever since I moved to Minnesota. There are two main reasons for this: Biscuits and Gravy and the flavor of their burgers. I moved here from California. In California the equivalent ot Hardees is Carl's Jr. When I lived there Carl's Jr. was at the bottom of my list. I would go there only if I was forced by circumstance. They served fries that were made from a potato batter squeezed through square holes. I assume that after they merged with Hardees many years ago their fries and their menu improved. In spite of what my wife claims I am not a Hardees' fan due to nostalgia for Carl's Jr. My favorite place in California is a very small local chain called Gus Jr. that didn't even exist when I lived there. It is nothing like Carls Jr. The Zimmerman Hardees is about 11 miles away buy is a bit easier to me to drive to than Anoka. I'm looking forward to checking out their Biscuits and Gravy. That visit will really be the one that will tell me if they get to keep my 4 star rating or not.

Never knew DQ could be this bad. Lots of local kids were there and loved it. So for the kids it's a great place to use mom and dad's credit card at. But for us 40 somethings keep on going by. Fries were horrible. Burger was nasty. Even the Heinz's catchup was rancid. Was going to get a blizzard for desert but my stomach wasn't up for it. Got up here to the cabin and dropped a grade a++ deuce and I'm not a 1030 at night type of guy. And it looks like corporate left a response but they don't really care.

I've had consistently bad experiences at this Subway location, and I finally feel the need to share…read moremy frustration. I always order the same simple wrap or flatbread: rotisserie chicken, cheese, mayo, tomatoes, and onions. That's it. Every time, I ask if they can heat the chicken with the cheese on it, and every time it's treated like I'm requesting something outrageous or not allowed. I also prefer the mayo on the chicken instead of on the vegetables, but I've repeatedly been told they "can't do that." So much for "Make It What You Want." Today was more of the same. The employee put just a few onions and four tomato slices on my wrap. When I politely asked for more onions--especially since I only get two veggies total--I was told she was "only allowed to put a limited amount on it." I explained that she barely put any on to begin with, but she still refused. I'm not asking for anything complicated or excessive. I'm just asking for a basic sandwich the way I prefer it. The lack of flexibility, the attitude, and the refusal to make simple adjustments make this one of the most frustrating Subway locations I've ever been to. At this point, I'll continue driving to Princeton or Elk River, where they have absolutely no problem preparing my order exactly as requested. The Zimmerman location could really benefit from better customer service, more flexibility, and a clearer understanding of what "customer choice" actually means.
