Know what let's do DQ and have one of their burger specials with the Sunday. Nope not here. Ok let's still have the burger combo. Think of the worst Burger King you ever had. This was worse. Never knew DQ could be this bad. Lots of local kids were there and loved it. So for the kids it's a great place to use mom and dad's credit card at. But for us 40 somethings keep on going by. Fries were horrible. Burger was nasty. Even the Heinz's catchup was rancid. Was going to get a blizzard for desert but my stomach wasn't up for it. Got up here to the cabin and dropped a grade a++ deuce and I'm not a 1030 at night type of guy. And it looks like corporate left a response but they don't really care.

We enjoyed our treats outside on the patio area since we rode our bicycles here on the Great Northern Trail from Elk River. There was a little traffic noise from the highway but it's nice that this Dairy Queen has a place to park our bikes & eat outside!

I've had consistently bad experiences at this Subway location, and I finally feel the need to share…read moremy frustration. I always order the same simple wrap or flatbread: rotisserie chicken, cheese, mayo, tomatoes, and onions. That's it. Every time, I ask if they can heat the chicken with the cheese on it, and every time it's treated like I'm requesting something outrageous or not allowed. I also prefer the mayo on the chicken instead of on the vegetables, but I've repeatedly been told they "can't do that." So much for "Make It What You Want." Today was more of the same. The employee put just a few onions and four tomato slices on my wrap. When I politely asked for more onions--especially since I only get two veggies total--I was told she was "only allowed to put a limited amount on it." I explained that she barely put any on to begin with, but she still refused. I'm not asking for anything complicated or excessive. I'm just asking for a basic sandwich the way I prefer it. The lack of flexibility, the attitude, and the refusal to make simple adjustments make this one of the most frustrating Subway locations I've ever been to. At this point, I'll continue driving to Princeton or Elk River, where they have absolutely no problem preparing my order exactly as requested. The Zimmerman location could really benefit from better customer service, more flexibility, and a clearer understanding of what "customer choice" actually means.

There are complaints about it being slow, but when we ordered tacos, a taco bowl salad, a side, and drink it came up in about 5-6mins- decent for eating inside a fast food restaurant. The manager (who took our order) was really nice and efficient. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and the interior has had an update recently so it looks clean and nice!

I also ordered a bag of bbq chips and they were very stale. I think that the staff is great with customers but needs to be a little more attentive to order making and possibly checking the freshness of their products.
