We walked in and debated leaving because it was so busy. we stayed and had one of the best servers ever. We went to the buff on a very busy night, and the servers seem to literally avoid eye contact with me at all cost because I stood at the front, wondering if I should see myself or if I needed to be seated by one of them and no one would even look at me. It was observed the lady behind the female that was kicked out w her male companion "might" have been favored/related to owner. Still no explanation to date. The order arrived with gluten free pasta, gluten free grilled bread, and gluten free salad dressing. I'm really glad that the band my husband plays will be playing every month! My friend and I had lunch at the Friendly Buffalo and it was delicious food and great Service. I'm so sorry, but I forgot our waiteress name but it started with a T a pretty and uncommon name and she wore cool plastic glasses and work the afternoon on Sunday May 19! I have been in customer service for over 25 years and she went above and beyond! Very fun, courteous, professional and bubbly personality! My friend is new to the area so last weekend some of us girls came to visit and went out to find some decent spots to go out. We got there around 12 am and the place was packed! There was a pretty good band playing and lots of people dancing. We didn't see all of the place-there seemed to be another area on the other side of a wall but we weren't sure if there was a private party being held. We wandered back to where the game area was and saw 2 pool tables as well as the usual bar games. There's a food area/bar where they serve pizza by the slice, which is a great idea. Not sure how late they stay open but since it was 12 when we got there and the bar closes at 1, I'm guessing they are open until then. It took my friends forever to get a drink since it was so packed but they said their vokda drinks were really strong and pretty decent priced as well. This place reminded me a lot of Wild Bill's in the cities here, with the exception the crowd. There was a good mix of young people, as well as older people. We found a staircase that we ventured up-it looks like there's a banquet room you may be able to rent out-there were people up there so we didn't make it too far in. I think we'd definitely go back here if we had a big group of us and we mainly wanted to dance. We'd also come earlier next time to get a table. read more

The waitress talked to the group in question, but it didn't help much, since the group was pretty intoxicated. First time there. The decor was like a diner not a restaurant/bar. Not a booth in the place. The service at the beginning was awful. The sign said "seat yourself" and we did. Nobody came to the table for 10 - 15 minutes. We were about to leave where, finally, the waitress brought some menus. From then on the service was fine. The food was awesome!! The husband got the Whiskey Burger and I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and waffle fries and season sour cream. Careful, they're buffalo chicken is HOT but I like it that way. I have had some season sour cream that I didn't like that well theirs is tasty. The food is most important to us so we give it four stars. read more

I've been here for both private parties in the banquet room and to hang out in the bar for dinner. Banquet service was great, it was for a dance studio's end of year party/awards thing. Meals come out fast and the food is great. Bar side has lots of the standard bar games; darts, pool, buck hunter etc. Every meal I've tried has been good-to-great. Me and my wife try new things we normally wouldn't get (in favor of standard "favorites") whenever we go because we know we won't be disappointed. Lots of space and lots of TVs. 2 bars open during dinner. I'm pretty sure that every time we've gone we've seen who we assume is the owner there, that guy is dedicated! Really good burgers. I have had both the Whiskey burger and the Guinness burger and they were both awesome. My family loves coming here. My kids had chicken fingers and the mini corn dogs and both looked great. The place is clean and bright and in a nice location in Big Lake-close to Elk River.
