We visited this axe throwing location as part of a residential mental health group outing and had a…read morereservation for nine people. Unfortunately, the experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. When we arrived, the door was locked and the lights were off despite our scheduled reservation. After waiting, we were eventually let inside. Right after arriving, I needed to use the restroom due to the long drive. I was directed to the women's single-stall bathroom, but when I opened the door there was already someone inside. I waited several minutes and informed the owner when the restroom was still occupied. He knocked on the door, confirmed someone was inside, and then instructed me to use the men's restroom, which did not have a lock. This felt awkward and poorly handled. While we were filling out waivers, one member of our group who was not participating appeared to be repeatedly stared at by the owner, which made them visibly uncomfortable. During the axe throwing portion, the owner stood very close behind participants for extended periods of time. When a participant scored, he repeatedly used language like "good girl," while using different phrasing toward others. The tone and wording felt inappropriate in a public, professional setting. He also hovered closely and repeatedly corrected form in a way that felt excessive rather than instructional. At one point, some members of the group stepped into a back area to take a break. The owner repeatedly approached and questioned them about whether they were okay, which made them uncomfortable enough to leave the building and wait in the car. Overall, the experience lacked professional boundaries, especially considering we were a mental health treatment group. Axe throwing should feel fun and safe, but several people in our group left feeling uneasy rather than relaxed. With better attention to professionalism, personal space, and appropriate language, this could have been a much better experience.

Stopped by to have lunch and ended up staying to play bingo. The restaurant was pretty loud as…read morebingo players were mixed in w/ non players trying to have regular convos over the game. They did have HH going on as well. I ordered a personal pizza (cheese, added jalapeños & banana peppers), side house salad and the cookie skillet. Everything was good. Service was a bit slow. My also ordered a salad and the came at different times but later realized it's because it was the side to her hoagie. We also didn't have/get silverware until her salad came out. Also there was an issue with the cookie skillet that the waitress tried to explain while we were in the middle of a bingo game. I know the bingo is "hosted" but if the same company host it every time it's very slow.. breaks between every number called. Also the rules/prize system is different. There's street parking & a smaller lot in the back. Can be busy as it's shared.

Ok. $8.50 for almost no alcohol in this tiny mug is kinda wild. Also, this is a Happy Hour price. Oof! Also, they need to fix the locks in the restroom. Three stalls: not only did the lock on the handicapped stall leave a solid 2 inches open, the child in the stall next to me had to have her mother hold the door closed (and she could look right at me while I was peeing). This is something that could be easily fixed.

Had a lovely day date with the hubby for a little pickleball competition in our day off. I…read moredownloaded the smash park app and reserved a pickleball court at 11am. The app is so easy to use and you're even able to add other rentals for your time at SP on the app like the pickleball paddles and ball. The check in process was easy and our court was ready to use as soon as we walked in. On a side note it our very first time playing the sport and we read up on the instructions and just decided to have a good time. Other courts had experts for sure. We did take 1-2 breaks during the hour to grab water or a bathroom break. The cost was $20 for the rental of the court for an hour during a weekday morning. $5 each for the paddle rental and $3 for the ball rental. They have lots of other fun activities here like the arcade, corn hole, duck pin bowling and even ax throwing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure!
