So this is about the location I love jimmy johns ; I always used go get a turkey sub , i was made fun of , so i went to being a big boy & once ordered the JJ GARGANTUAN... &&& i have never tried anything else I loooved my sandwich ; But my kids got 2 blt's and one was sooo small compared to the other one , like really small , annoyingly smaller ; i grabbed them out the bag and thought one was my wifes but it wasnt it was just a baby version of it (smh).. I had to drive back about a mile because they forgot to give me a bag of chips and i wasnt going to come home and hear it for forgetting them so they hooked me up with a extra bag , The chain is pricey i feel like ; but whatever ; i paid 40+$ for 4 sandwiches , I mean mine was 18+ tax alone !! Unfortunately, one of the worst Jimmy John experiences I've had. Extremely slow to both take the order and make the food, and I can't blame it entirely on the single staff member - it seemed as though she was clearly very new and entirely alone. Not only did it take 30 mins to get my food, I didn't get my drink, and when I called the store the number is disconnected. Since I couldn't get ahold of the store I went online. The franchise owner said they had talked to the manager and they would give me 2 free subs and drinks to make up for it. I appreciated that. Thank you for the follow up. read more

Came in 35 minutes before the closing time posted on the front door (and online) only to be told by the employees that they were closed for the night. If I had shown up 5-10 minutes before closing, I would get it, nobody wants customers at the very end of the night. But 35 minutes? Seems a bit much. Also if you're closed, lock the doors so customers don't keep coming in only to be told you're closed for some reason. I shouldn't be surprised, this location in particular is usually terrible. read more

I kind of agree with the other review, like Subway, but I don't think it's better. The prices seem comparable. The choices seem somewhat comparable. All in all an average sandwich. I did think it was a little odd that I had to ask for napkins. I was directed to reach over the counter and take what I needed. This is an area not visible from the restaurant side. Very clean restaurant. Funny bathroom decor. This site is tucked away in a corner of a shopping center. Parking can be a challenge. It's directly across from Panera. read more

I ordered a sandwich called the Big John and asked for some extra toppings. Their delivery was quick, but what they brought me had so little inside it I had to pull the bread appart to see if there was anything at all. There was just a trace of meat, and each of the extra toppings I'd asked for, but in very small quantity. Even after eating the entire foot long sub I was still hungry. You would think that ordering a sandwich called the Big John, it would be, oh, I don't know... Big? Maybe even filling? And it's not cheap either. I could have gone to Subway or Quiznos or any other sandwich place in town and gotten something better tasting and much larger for less money. Once I got home, the first thing I did was to make lunch since I was still so hungry. The second thing I did was to call the shop and ask to talk to the manager. I am not really a big fan of subs but I wanted to try it out since I got a coupon for a free sub in the mail. I used to work at the Panera directly across from this location but I never wanted to try it out and the store was always mostly empty so I figured it wasn't anything great. Anyway I would never say no to free food so I decided to try it out. The people inside weren't really friendly the sandwich wasn't anything to get excited over (I could have made the same one at home) and it was free. I really don't see myself returning to this location. I am thinking of trying another location to see if it's better but so far not good read more

I have been a fan of Jimmy John's since the 90's. So when I found out they were coming here to Tucson back in the day I was so excited!!! You can't pass up the veggie on wheat! I think it's one of the best veggie sandwiches out there! I like coming to this location because it is not so crowded every time I go. I wanted to give them 5 stars, but every time I go there I order water to drink, and it always tastes funny. Hopefully someone will read this and get their water fountain fixed. read more

This is a GREAT Jommy John's- QUICK service, clean tables, fresh food. It doesn't get much better than this! The parking lot can be annoying to get out of, since it's right off of (busy) Oracle, but that's not really their fault. read more

Jimmy Johns has great sandwiches. The bread is good and the deli meats fantastic. (I'm from Philly and know a good Hoagie) The one downside. The lettuce is shredded and as a result very bland. They sandwiches are very reasonably priced and the service is fast. We'll go back. Until Frankie builds a Cheesesteak shop in Oro Valley this will do just fine. read more

I ordered from this location for a work lunch. Not only was the food an hour late but the food runner showed up in tears because she had tripped and dropped the drinks the drinks I had ordered. I felt bad for her and still gave her a good tip. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund because my drinks had been spilled by the food runner. The manager apologized and replaced my drinks and coupons for free subs. I later handed those coupons out to colleges at work to find out they were expired coupons. I can't enough of Jimmy Johns. Their sandwiches are just fantastic, especially the french bread! You can't go wrong with most of their sandwiches, but my personal favorite is the Club Lulu- fresh sliced turkey, BACON, lettuce, tomato, and heavenly mayo. I don't see why anyone would even bother with Quiznos or Subway or those other chains after trying Jimmy Johns. My only gripe is that I can only get a taste when I fly into Tucson for business as there are currently no Jimmy Johns in SoCal. read more

Sandwiches were made before I got my beverage. Staff very friendly. Restroom clean. Dining area also very clean!!! Thought I wanted a tuna sandwich but realized I didn't after the first bite. Although it was my mistake, manager Jeremy, saw that I wasn't happy, he offered to make me another sandwich of my choosing at no cost!! First off, I give the sandwiches 5 stars, they are delicious and for the money you can't beat it. Always fast and friendly. The one star deduction is because of the "artwork" on the walls of the men's bathroom. There are probably 20 pictures of various types of positions/styles of men peeing. One had a guy peeing on the floor (called the drunken), another called "Morning Riser" with a man peeing straight up in the air..... I was offended not as an adult, but I have kids and Jimmy John's is not the place you would expect to see such vulgar artwork; it belongs in a bar or other "adult" establishments. They have the Jimmy John's seal on it, so it comes from the company itself. Poor choice if you ask me. read more
