Loved the birria tacos from here. I did think the prices were a bit high but the food was delicious staff was friendly and the place was immaculate clean. Plenty of seating area inside and outside. If you're near the university try out the new place.

3 birria tacos with consumé ($15)

First time trying and I was sooo hungry. The cashier was friendly enough. It was pretty warm inside the restaurant. I know there are a lot of good reviews for this place but I found it to be just average. I think we make more flavorful birria at home. There was nothing off putting about my 3 birria tacos w/ consumé but they were just ok for $15. Not sure if I would go back.

In the mood for a taco, I heard about the taco spot so I decided to come by today, ordered the queso birria taco, and my taco was lacking the queso, although the meat was flavorful and juicy, I was really looking forward to the cheesy taco, also had a Carne Asada taco which the meat didn't have too much flavor. It wasn't nasty, but it wasn't the best. I may return again to try something else, but that might be a while before I return. Looking into some other taco spots first.

Chicken taco

This was the worst food spot I've went too. I ordered birria nachos and they had the smallest amount of meat. Basically ate a few chips with meat and that was it. Still have a whole plate of chips. I also ordered my family food. The birria balls was all rice. Like 1 strip of birria . I wish I can take back my $7 tip. The birria tacos had little to no meat. And the chicken taco you can just look at it and be disgusted. My daughter did not touch it. Asked for a refund and was met with attitude and no help. The time i went in was from 5:40 - 6:15 p.m 4/12/2026. My order was 3 orders of quesabirra tacos. 1 birria nacho, 1 order of birria balls, 1 chicken taco. I spent $63 plus my seven dollar tip. Im really upset and would appreciate if someone reached out to me as soon as possible because when I asked for help and addressed the problems I was met with attitude and Basically ignored.

Yelp is right again! Looked up best birria Tacos and this new spot.. the Taco spot came up! ha! Fast food looking but made to order fresh! Selling the BEST birria consumme dipping sauce I have ever had and generous size of it, perfect amount. My hubby had a Mexican Bowl and we had horchata, which was so tasty and perfect to wash down the 3 tacos. They also sell the Mexican Ramen (like you see in grocery stores if you like) Trendy place, Kind service and seriously delicious lunch!

Taste good enough for street tacos but it weren't juicy enough from all meats.... Grill tasting was alright!! services we're good enough... since the foods were more dry even tasted ok... I've the classic coke glass bottle! The whole meal was fast enough but I will consider more different places for tacos shop if more choices available...

Do not miss out on the chance for some of the best birria tacos you'll be lucky to have! The consume is delicate and flavorful, the tacos do not skimp on meat or cheese and nothing is overly greasy. When the girl behind the counter asks if you want salsa, please say yes. Also, please be aware that the red salcita is spicy! I'm going to be going back soon for the ramen & birria.

This is a pretty aesthetically pleasing place, from the pictures online, to inside decor, and the visually appealing menu. I struggled to decide what to order because it allllll looked so good. I ended up ordering 2 street tacos and the taco/fry combo that came with 2 tacos and a side of fries for $11.29. They have 5 options in meat and I chose the birria based on their picture on Yelp that looked delicious.. looking further at that picture while waiting for my food, I'm not sure it's their picture, which I felt was misleading. But I'm hoping I'm wrong and it is theirs. Anyway i ordered my food to go but ate a bit before I left. It came with a red and green salsa, both of which were okay. My street tacos fine, no complaint, but no praise either. The birria were pretty yummy and cheesy. I was expecting to be able to dip them but maybe I dont really understand what birria is lol? Anyway all in all the experience was good and staff was friendly, HOWEVER I'm not sure it's the best value...I didn't not feel that those 2 tacos and fries were worth $12.. it was more fries than anything and the tacos of course were pretty small.

First time trying this place, and it didn't disappoint. Staff was very friendly, and they were able to fulfill my ridiculous burrito order. Was worth every penny.

If you order birria tacos they charge extra for the sauce. Birria isn't birria unless it comes with sauce. Ridiculous.

The red miso definitely satisfied my spicy tastes if you are the type of person who can eat a bag of hot Cheetos without blinking you'll be fine but if you're sensitive to spice you might want to skip that option. On the menu they do have chili peppers next to the items to indicate the spice level. The portions are BIG and definitely worth it. They come in the cutest bowels and have an excellent packing system of the broth is separate from the noodles and other items if you're getting it to go. The actual restaurant is quirky for sure with Easter eggs hidden and anime and Pokémon around the restaurant. This is DEFINITELY better than Obon and Raijen hands down. This is my new favorite ramen spot!

Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We then ordered two pork Bao Buns, two sushi rolls, the Shiro Maki and the Tataki Maki. Both really good, really well rolled, not an abundance of rice either. I am obsessed with Ramen, I decided to order the house Ramen, the Obon, without the Bonito flakes because I'm not a fan. Looked good when it came, I just wasn't happy with it. It lacked something, umami, a well developed broth, who knows, I just know it wasn't what I normally like. It gave me heartburn from hell too. Overall, $150 later I left somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed. For a Sunday, at noon, four tables worth of patrons. Not loud, not super quiet, nice ambiance. My friend got the regular and I got the spicy version. The photo may not do it justice but it might be the best chicken sandwich I've eaten. Soft, buttery bun, mayo, tangy pickles, and perfectly-breaded-and-fried chicken that wasn't undercooked, dry, or soggy and it was surprisingly juicy for such a big piece of chicken. The spice was fairly tame, it adds a kick but doesn't overpower or leave your mouth on fire--which I'm okay with. The spice seemed more cayenne/paprika based though I couldn't pinpoint the seasonings. If you're a spice-head I'd suggest adding buffalo or honey sriracha sauce. The inside is very spacious, with lots of cutesy Asian decor and an 80s J-Pop soundtrack. Service was friendly and decently-timed as their food is (clearly) made-to-order. I didn't see the restaurant itself yet, but after this experience, visiting is officially on the to-do. We started with the takoyaki balls, which were an absolute standout. I'm not an expert on how they're made, but I did notice pieces of octopus inside, and wow so good. The sauce on top is an explosion of flavor: rich, savory, slightly sweet, and totally addictive. I could eat these every time and never get bored. Next, we built our own Tachi burrito bowl and this is where Taichi really shines. The customization options are next-level. You can choose white rice, brown rice, no rice, and even a greens base. Then you get three proteins yes, three. Options include tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, spicy salmon, shrimp, tofu, crab meat, and chicken. From there, it's toppings galore: avocado, cucumbers, red onions, cherry tomatoes, jalapeños, mango, masago, seaweed salad, and crunchy add-ons like fried garlic or fried onions. The variety alone deserves applause. And then... the sauces. This is where you can really get creative. Spicy mayo, poke sauce, chili hot sauce, eel sauce, mango sauce, ponzu, Thai sweet chili, Thousand Island, wasabi the list goes on. We went with spicy tuna, salmon, and spicy salmon, and let me tell you fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced. Every bite worked. I don't claim to be a poke or Thai food expert, but whatever choices we made... we absolutely made the right ones. Bottom line: even through delivery, Taichi delivered. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and endless customization. Next time, in person, and probably ordering way too much.
