This was our first time here and it was about 10:30pm. The gentleman was very nice but when we go our reciept in the drive thru, there appeared to be an incorrect item on their. We weren't able to get his attention so when he brought the food to the window, we told him the carne asada taco was supposed to be the tacos de birria (not the 3 quesabirria which we also ordered). He reassured us that it was correct but when we got home, there was a carne asada taco (which wasn't ordered), and no tacos de birria. We were very sad that the food lacked a lot of flavor and seasonings. The hot sauces were good and were the only thing that gave it any sort of flavor plus the lime wedges. I really likes the homemade tortilla on the California Butrito (not pictured) but the burrito itself followed suit the it didn't have much flavor. The drive thru board was lit up really nicely and we could see the abundance of options. read more

I came here because a coworker had recommended the super nachos. That's what I got and I wasn't disappointed. There is a lot of food and it tasted great. Be sure to pay with cash as they charge extra if you pay with a card. I got this to go, so I can't comment on the service. Overall, it's a good portion of food and tasty. read more

I pulled up this morning at the drive through. There was a truck at the pick up window when I was placing my order. The person received their order just after I placed mine. I ordered a steak and egg burrito with cheese. She asked me twice and I answered twice. I then pulled up behind the truck. Another truck pulled up behind me. After ten minutes or so I was wondering how big of an order the truck in front of me was waiting for. The attendant and the driver was engaged in a conversation. Without receiving anymore food or drinks, the driver said goodbye and drove off. I guess neither cared there were cars waiting for their food. The attendant looked back at us on several occasions. As I pulled up there wasn't any acknowledgment of my long wait. Just asked if I wanted red or green salsa. I paid my salsa and drove off. When I got to my destination I noticed my order was wrong. I received a bacon and egg burrito. I've noticed over the years my orders and based on feedback from friends their service and food accuracy has taken a dive. I know in any business there are things that are out of control but there are simple things you have full control over. They missed on these controllable things. I get mistakes happen and thank goodness I do not have a pork restriction. In all, my burrito was good and abundant but delayed and not accurate. read more

good mexican food for arizona!! wanted a night meal so came with a group of friends. at night, they only have drive-thru so that's a little inconvenient. drive through was pretty slow but it was understandable considering that it's not a "fast food" restaurant. food itself was pretty good. i had their birria tacos and fish tacos. never could be the same as mexico BUT still decent!! don't get their agua frescas though... unless you want watered down pure sugar!! I had dinner here last night with a friend. I ordered three soft tacos: shrimp, adobada, and grilled chicken ($4.69 each). The place is small and was full of people including many getting takeout. We were able to find a table. There is a salsa and veggie bar, but it is small compared to the ones at many other taquerias. The food was OK, though I didn't like the sauces drizzled on top of the tacos (avocado on the meat ones and tartar sauce on the shrimp). Overall, I would consider this a low-end place. This review is based on four breakfast burritos only! So I've driven by here HUNDREDS of times...finally stopped to grab a breakfast burrito yesterday, and then again this morning. REALLY GREAT! Machaca/egg/potato/cheese (then same with chorizo) and I'm very impressed. Big enough for two unless you are a filthy pig. Great recipes and ingredients and prep - the texture is nicely balance between dry and wet, and is what really got my attention. Three salsas for offer, I love the avocado green. I need to get deeper in their menu, but first needed to give them a shout for the breakfast burrito excellence. Try it. read more

I ordered to go yesterday from Ramiro's taco shop on Speedway. My daughter and I loved the Sonoran hotdog. They are the best hotdogs I have ever eaten in my life. The hotdog bun was toasted in butter and truly I highly recommend these Sonoran dogs. We also had Pollo asado burritos, which were also very delicious. read more

Took a late night wall to Ramiro's with the homies. It was the perfect late night destination. You walk out of the warm dark air into the brightly lit Mexican food smell that we all know and love. We ordered a shrimp burrito (silly homie's order), and all the taco variations. The best by far was the adobada; it was the most moist and flavorful, with a lovely char. All the salsas were nice and the burrito tortilla was especially good, though the burrito itself was a lil heavy on the rice. Go more beans and salsa please! i think that could bring some more texture and balance. Lastly, I would recommend all you can eat chips and salsa. Though the spot is on the smaller side, I think this would bring a lot more business and make the customer experience better. The service was great, welcoming and accommodating! It is a small restaurant, but they have a drive thru if you want to grab food and go! The breakfast burrito I had was amazing! By drive-thru standards, this place rocks. The burritos use a great flour tortilla, nicely toasted too. Seasoning is spot on. They don't do anything novel, but everything ends up better than you'd expect. And they're usually open late. read more

Absolutely fantastic food. Their quesobirria tacos were incredible, some of the best I've had. Service was quick and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable (especially considering portion sizes are huge). I am also obsessed with their avocado crema (sauce) from the salsa bar. I know it's a small "fast food" Mexican restaurant but it's the best Mexican food I've had here in Tucson by far. It always tastes fresh and delicious. Tacos are really good and huge! My husband enjoyed the birria beef soft tacos. I ordered the birria beef torta, I didn't like it due to too much shredded lettuce, birria was tasteless, bread was soggy, missing beans and sour cream. I was raised in a very conservative food pallet home like many Americans so trying new items like cabeza tacos is a very foreign choice in cuisine. Let me just say I am on a new adventure of respecting restaurants that honor the entire animal by properly knowing how to prepare each and every inch into a world class experience. These cabeza tacos did not disappoint! It was extremely buttery and melted in your mouth! If you do one thing this year, you owe it to yourself to put this place on your 3rd spot routine. The ambiance is so beautiful in this space too! There are beautiful murals inspired by Mexican culture with luchadores wrestling and oversized monarch butterflies, this place is truly a different dimension!

Let's first go over what makes great Carne Asada. 1. Flavorful 2. Juicy 3. Good cut(minimal to no grisle, bone, not flat/thin cut and not diced into kibble) 4. Tender Juanito's had some flavor, but it was VERY dry and tough and had far too much grisle. I just didn't like it at all. I had to force my way through it it was so dry, I dislike dry meat. I want to try a different meat, maybe it'll gain a star there, but for the Carne Asada? Hard pass. The service wasn't great either.

Service was very friendly and the food came out fast. The burrito was huge and gave me two meals. The mild salsa was tasty and the chips fresh and crisp. There were even cut limes at the salsa bar. It was a cool night and an hour before closing so there weren't many people inside. The only large table of diners looked to be university employees. There is more outside dining. I've seen this place bursting with people during the school year and that always kept me from eating here. The building is nicely decorated with an impressive mural facing Campbell Avenue. I'm glad I had a chance to try this place, finally!
