I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy.
