Reese stopped here to grab myself a small bite to eat since I was exploring the shops in downtown Lake Geneva. This location is perfect because it is the only fast food place that I see that's in the heart of the downtown area. Aside from the Stores that sell treats, sweets or walking into a sit down establishment. Price here were a bit pricey but the convenience was outstanding. Subject: Unprofessional and Disrespectful Service - Order Canceled by Manager To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at one of your Jimmy John's locations. My wife and I entered the store to place an order for 10 Turkey Tom sandwiches, while the rest of our family waited in the car. After placing our order, we sat down and watched multiple customers come and go with their food. Despite the store being nearly empty, our order was still not ready after 30 minutes. When I asked the manager why there was such a long delay, I was told we'd have to wait another hour. I questioned this, given that there were no other customers in line, and explained that we were willing to wait it out. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager abruptly canceled our order without our consent. To make matters worse, as we were leaving, employees behind the counter sarcastically shouted "Bye-bye!", adding insult to an already unprofessional situation. The entire experience felt dismissive, disrespectful, and completely contrary to what I expect from a national food chain. We will not be returning to this location--or any Jimmy John's location in the future--after such an unacceptable experience. On 9/3/24 we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for two sandwiches. Initial order was wrong and we called and spoke with the team and they said they would remake the order and get it right out. One hour later, we had to call back to ask where the re-order was and instead of going out of their way to make it right they acted confused and argued. This is the worst Jimmy John's on planet earth. They botched an order last year while we on our family vacation. Fine. It happens. This year, after placing an order for delivery, we received a call 1 hour after our order was placed. We stopped in around noon on Friday, 7/22/22, at this Lake Geneva location to order 2 sandwiches for takeout. We were told they can not fill this order as they were almost out of bread and was saving what is left for the evening customers. This is an absolutely ridiculous display of poor planning and management. And why not close the doors if you can not fill any orders during the next 5 or 6 hours? And now part 2: about three weeks ago we called in 2 days in advance to order an 18 piece party pack. This time they stated they would be too busy (2 days in the future) and could not fill that order. Unbelievable. Fortunately we had this order filled at the Delavan store which is always very accommodating, professional and friendly.....Lake Geneva store?........not so much. read more

I called after seeing it was 1:30pm and my order had been sent out for delivery at 1:08pm, and someone answered without stating their name. Ordered a sandwich today and was put on hold twice and then put my order in with specific instruction on where to go. An hour and a half later I got my work break and found out jimmy johns had called me twice for directions since they were in the area, but didn't know where to go. I called and got transferred to a manager who said that they took my sandwich back because they couldn't find my location (even though I had been very specific) and then when I told him I had given very good instructions, was literally told that the guy who took my order 'didn't hear me say that' and that they have some new people so I would have to give better details next time. He offered to send the guy out then, but my break was just getting over. Very upset at the customer service. Never tell a customer they are wrong, and at least next time offer to comp the sandwich. I Love this place, Its the only reason I come back to Lake Geneva. The workers are fantastic, they always make me so happy. Great Job Keep it up. The delivery service here is always terrible and not freaky fast at all. After about 25 minutes of waiting the driver finally showed up. I had two drinks with my order that the driver forgot to grab, you'd think they'd double check the order before they head out? Apparently not. So the driver had to go back to the store and grab them, another 15 minutes later I finally get the drinks I paid for. Trying to be nice, the delivery driver threw in two cookies for the trouble. But their cookies suck, I guess it's better than nothing but they obviously have issues in every aspect of their store. Won't be ordering from them again unless they have a robot deliver who already understands how to read and can get there "freaky fast". read more

My wife was driving by and asked if they could deliver a sandwich to her car if she pulled up to the front of the restaurant. She had both kids (1 and 2 1/2 year old) in the car sleeping and just asked if they could bring out a sandwich 5 feet from the front door and they said "No." We've had them deliver to a boat just off Big Foot Beach, not sure why they would't do this. read more

While I love Jimmy John's subs, the service at the Lake Geneva branch was terrible. A group of us placed an order for delivery that was over $80. They would not make our sandwiches as we asked for them. We had someone who wanted to omit a topping and what did she get? You guessed it, the topping she didn't want. I had asked for additional toppings to be added (the menu specifically states which ones are free and which ones you need to pay for) and they simply said no we won't do that. I have been to that store before and had no problems getting the same exact thing but they absolutely refused to make it this time around. What the heck? The person who took our order over the phone was downright rude and we could hear another staff member in the background stating "no, we're not doing that." Very poor customer service. I have lived in my current house for 7 months now, and have had jimmy johns delivered 4 or 5 times. When I called tonight I was told the driver wasn't willing to deliver to my house tonight. I could not believe how rude the workers were. My family and I went in there around noon on Labor Day. I have always known Jimmy John's to be fast and friendly. Not today and definitely not at the Lake Geneva Jimmy John's. We seemed to be of a burden to them and I observed this attitude with the next 5 customers. Sandwiches were what was expected...nothing to complain there. We will not be going back to this particular Jimmy John's - for an over priced sandwich I expect good customer service.
