I had a huge chicken burger combo. The burger was fresh, well prepared, and juicy, while the fries were cooked to perfection and crunchy. My wife had a turkey sandwich and fries, and she LOVED them! **** I left without…read moreordering because of what I witnessed regarding food handling. I observed an employee wearing a green shirt deliver food to a car outside while wearing plastic food gloves. The employee then used those same gloves to open the exterior door, returned inside, and continued handling food without changing them. I watched the employee package fries, placing the same gloved hands over the fries while filling bags for customers. When I asked to use the restroom, the employee used those same gloves to enter the restroom code and open the restroom door for me. After that, the employee immediately returned to handling food with the same pair of gloves. Gloves are only effective when they are changed after touching non-food surfaces. Watching the same gloves touch doors, keypads, and then food made me lose confidence in the restaurant's food safety practices, so I decided to leave without placing my order. I hope management addresses employee glove-use and food safety training.

The service was a bit slow, but the personnel were really friendly and the restaurant itself was in nice condition and was really clean. My garlic steak fries came in this large container, so I got super excited thinking that it was gonna be like this jumbo humungo portion, but when I lifted the lid, I saw that it was a scant layer of fries that didn't even completely cover the bottom edges of the tray! At least the fries were generously covered in squirts of the cheese and garlic sauces, and there was a good smattering of steak chunks sprinkled around. I just really wanted a mountain of their delicious fries, because the dish tasted great. I thought that the garlic sauce flavor really stood out, and I was craving more, even after I lapped up every last drop of that creamy white sauce. ...And then I bit into the itty-bitty, cocktail weenie sized churros. They were filled with this thick white cream that gushed out the tip when I bit into one. I wouldn't recommend them only because they tasted funky. I was enticed into buying them because I love salted caramel flavored desserts, but these tasted nothing like salted caramel, they were more like an artificial vanilla flavor, and even calling them vanilla flavored would be a stretch.

I ordered on the app and in person for the deals that the app doesn't have. It was so empty that there's lots of seating, we were the only ones dining in. There was a few drive thru customers and some came in to order for to go, use the restroom, and leave. I think more used the restroom than ordering during the time we were there. I got the 5.99 burger deals and famous Star deal. Also ordered a kids meal on the app which didn't come with a toy but had a cookie which my son didn't really like and neither did I, tasted stale. They didn't have the chilis like in n out, instead they sold jalapeño slices for 1.25 (for a small container) and I got it for my dad because I changed our plans to here instead. He said it wasn't good and tasted weird... I had a great meal, but the fountain drink machine is off so refills had to go to staff which I wish we didn't have to. Bathrooms were available, it was dirty in terms of structure like walls and flooring and still clean to use like toilets and sink.
