My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The restaurant's exterior and interior were very clean and well maintained; each table was fully stocked with the condiments most people need when dining, and the aroma of food filled the air. Employees were extremely friendly, professional, and outgoing. They also worked nonstop, taking orders at the front counter and through the drive-thru lane. Our meals were DELICIOUS! I had a huge chicken burger combo. The burger was fresh, well prepared, and juicy, while the fries were cooked to perfection and crunchy. My wife had a turkey sandwich and fries, and she LOVED them! This was a GREAT dining experience. read more

Stopped by Farmer Boys with my husband after a morning of shopping. I ordered a turkey sandwich on sourdough and a side of French fries. The sandwich was on sourdough bread that was lightly toasted, with a stack of tender sliced turkey, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomato. The french fries were crispy, and golden brown on the outside, with a soft center. Farmer Boys delivered big flavors, and warm service today. The employees were professional, and very courteous, making it a great place for a good meal. I will definitely visit this location again. read more

Service is always friendly and efficient and the restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean with vases of flowers on each table. The sourdough chicken avocado sandwich is one of THE BEST sandwiches out there. Truly remarkable and delicious! Chicken was tender, mayo was garlicky, the avocado was perfectly ripe, the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh and added to a perfect balance, the swiss cheese melted perfectly, the bacon was so good, and the bread was so soft. Definitely would order again. Wish it was more affordable. The read more

Farmer Boys had always felt "expensive" for "fast food" but over the years as the prices of everything has sky rocketed, Farmer Boys pricing has remained pretty steady. Now it's priced similar to your normal fast food joint, but way better. Food is much better than your standard drive thru with fresher ingredients. More on par with a sit down breakfast restaurant but way cheaper than those. I recently got a breakfast burrito for $10 and a coconut iced coffee for $3. There's many breakfast plate offerings for less than $15. My breakfast burrito is a good size although it was a little dry, some salsa would've helped. The coffee was good, but a little sweet for my taste. Overall a solid 3.5 that's good enough for me to round up for 4. I think I will be visiting this place more often. read more

Farmer Boys is usually my go-to for Chili Cheese Fries (no onions please) because it is SO good! However, I needed to grab a quick breakfast and decided to stop by since nothing near was opened. They have a breakfast special for under $10 which I thought was a very good deal. I felt their Omelette was a bit too dry because I like my eggs a bit runny and not as well done. The French Toast was just okay, however they have really good service and the restaurant was actually very clean. Farmer Boys at Irwindale is a 6/10. :) read more

Background On Visit: Needed a pick me upper after going on a Costco mission. Rewards Program: Download the app and start accumulating points to redeem for free stuff. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restrooms: They're available Location/Parking: Located on Irwindale Ave. between Foothill Blvd. and Camino De La Cantera. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with modern furnishings. This shop is bigger than the other location (Huntington Park) that I've patronized at. Service: Service is alright. Didn't receive the service I usually get from the Huntington Park location. Food came out at a decent time. Food Of Choice: I got the $9.99 cheeseburger combo, which came with fries and a drink. The burger and fries are consistent to the location that I go to. I like the fries with no salt. :) Farmer Boys For Thought: Wouldn't mind come back. I'll probably try their cobb salad sans bacon next time. read more

I bring my kids here for breakfast. They love it - they have a small breakfast menu which includes breakfast boxes for $9.99 (sandwich, french toast sticks and coffee). Skip McDonald's and come here instead -they're practically the same price and the food is fresher. They have a very ample parking lot and the service is stellar. It's a casual/fast food with a full service diner vibe. read more

My first time here and I'll be telling a friend and returning. My experience with Maria was sooooo welcoming and helpful! She greeted me and when I told her it was my first experience she went over the specials with me! Lead me to greatness with the farmers best combo. I had to use the restroom and a gentlemen gave the code, and the bathroom was clean! Great experience! Thank you! See you soon! read more

We've been coming here for years and tonight was the absolute last time. Not only has it become insanely expensive, even with the app, but the food gets worse and smaller every time. My 10 year old ordered the 2 piece chicken tenders kids meal and got two TINY pieces of chicken, we're talking barely nugget size, for $10.49. Farmer Boys ought to be ashamed. This is absolutely ridiculous and entirely unacceptable. Won't be back again. read more

Stopped by the other day for a salad, and it didn't disappoint -- fresh, tasty, and well-prepared, though a little on the pricey side for the portion. Ate here yesterday for dinner after going to a Costco run and we didn't want to cook dinner. It's good but I can't justify the price for this. It's quite pricy. It was my first time here but my significant other had this before. We both tried the natural avocado bacon burger with no bacon. It is fresh never frozen 1/3 patty with smashed avocado, cheese, onions, pickles, and a thousand island dressing. We also got fried zucchini and always crispy fries. The fries stole the show this evening. We went to the drive thru and we were the only ones there so you can tell that everything was made fresh to order. That service was much appreciated. Ranch and ketchup was given as well as extra napkins. read more

Wonderful experience here at Farmer Boys. I usuallly go to the Mcds nearby but decided something different. The avocado blt sandwich here was delicious and so are the fries. The salad is put in a really cool looking bowl too, so showing attention to detail. this location is not good at all. I ordered 2 sandwiches & 2 fries, my order was though the app & I arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time it gave me on the app. The sandwiches were squished at the bottom of the bag with 2 huge bags of fries on top. They threw in 2 sides of ranch, one of which had overflowed. The bag was in another bag tied with 3 knots. the food was so soggy from all of the condensation & the sandwiches didn't stand a chance of.. they were flattened by the fries. The chicken sandwich i ordered was no seasoned & it looked liked it was boiled.. not grilled. also looked like avocado spread, not fresh avocados. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. You are better off going to mcdonald's next door read more

I heard about Farmers boy from my previous job, when the sales reps would bring in catered orders of breakfast burritos. They were delicious and enough to put the whole office to sleep after consuming half of one burrito. I since moved away from that job, and found one on the way to costco! Service is fast. Parking lot is huge! the bathrooms could be better, but it will do. The dining area is very large and very clean. It reminds me of a denny's but not as busy. The food is a bit oily, but delicious. I especially love the zucchini fries, they are actual sticks of zucchini cut into quarters and fried!! The onion rings are also huge pieces, not just a tiny sliver of an onion round. It's a nice stop to make before costco, I always make bad shopping decisions at Costco when I am hungry. haha read more

Hello everyone! I've been a loyal fan of Farmer Boys for many years and have always appreciated their great service. Yesterday, I stopped by to grab one of my favorite breakfast burritos for dinner, and at the drive-thru window, I had the pleasure of meeting Tabitha. From the moment she greeted me, Tabitha was professional, personable, and attentive. She went above and beyond, asking all the right questions and making sure my order was just right. Every now and then, you meet someone in the fast-food industry who truly stands out--and Tabitha is one of them. I'm not sure what her future goals are, but I have no doubt she'll achieve great things. Thank you, Tabitha! You're a natural at what you do, and you made my day. read more

If you are looking for fast food pricing, but restaurant quality fresh food then you need to give FarmerBoys a try. I highly recommend that you download and use the VIF app for more rewards and savings. It may seem like a lot of $ but when you compare the quality and it almost being as much as your typical fast food, the choice to pick Farmer Boys is a no-brainer. Great customer service, You can ask questions without them being annoyed. You can tell that they are there to work and every staff is busy getting orders out ASAP and I appreciate that. The location is clean (restroom too) with plenty of seating. I love you can scan QR code and order from your table if you like. I also like that they are one of the few establishments that I've seen not pushing a self serve kiosk which makes this place excellent for older customers that aren't as tech savvy. It also keeps it very personable and makes them stand out from other similar businesses. I ordered the Cobb salad with a small drink. The salad was HUGE and the cost was only $11.06 with the tax included. They have many options on their menu. Please consider giving them a visit. I'm positive you will find something on their menu and love it!!! Definitely will be back myself very soon. read more

We received a coupon in the mail for Farmer Boys and decided to try it out on our way to get gas at Costco down the street. We came around 6pm on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet inside. Shortly after, there were a few more cars going through the drive thru and a few more customers walked in. We ordered the natural burger and the farmer's burger. Both are never frozen patties. We also ordered a cookies n cream shake and chili cheese fries with onion. The fries were pretty good with grilled onions since the fries were very crispy. Burgers were good too, thinner patties with a decent amount of guac. The female staff/cashier was friendly and helpful, even helped me cut my coupon out lol. read more

Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. The sandwich could've been made by a 6 year old and probably would have been better. The chicken was unseasoned and had 0 evidence of being grilled, it instead looked like it had been boiled. On top of the chicken breast was just a huge slab of lettuce and dollop of mayonnaise. Super plain, bland, and not to mention the chicken was dry as leather. The most surprising part was that they couldn't even do the fries right. The fries were overcooked to the point where the potato inside was absent, leaving just a shell of over-cooked skin on the outside. Last but not least the bathroom is in pretty bad condition. Graffiti everywhere and the sink only puts out literal boiling hot water. I couldn't wash the soap off my hands because the water was unbearably hot and there's no setting to make it colder. read more

Introduction: It's probably the cold weather but yesterday I was craving a cheeseburger for the entire day. During the car ride with my friend, he told me about Farmer Boys and how all the produce were sourced from farm to table. As a result, after dropping him off, I looked on Yelp for the closest Farmer Boys I could find. Food: Natural Cheeseburger: Before Farmer Boys my default average burger joint was In N Out; after last night, Farmer Boys had established a whole new standard for me. The beef patty of the burger was beefy and savory, the aftertaste of the beef long-lasting as it lingers in the palate after each bite. The vegetables: lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, were vibrant in their flavor(s) and very fresh. The cheese, for the first time it felt as if I were eating real cheese: it was smooth and slightly creamy in its texture while the dairy aftertaste was pronounced. Cheese(es) at other burger establishments tasted different: they were usually generic and flat in both texture and flavor(s). The bun, my goodness, the texture of it was like a cross between a Hawaiian and brioche bun but with sound structural integrity. The texture of the bun was delicately firm but delectably soft and moist. I scarfed down this burger within 8-10 minutes. Originally, I only thought about eating half since I couldn't eat too much in one sitting. However, before I knew it, the burger was gone because I couldn't stop eating it. Ambiance: Casual Service: The staff was cordial and pleasant Price: Affordable and reasonable read more

The cobb salad was actually really filling and good but unfortunately the giant onion rings and zucchini fries had batter that cut up the insides of your mouth. Also the app didn't work so the free burger never worked for us. EDIT: it worked the next time we came Always wondered what this place was about when headed to Costco, glad we tried it but we probably won't be back. The food is decent here but the prices really have spiraled out of control. Pros: + Lots of free open parking. + Good variety of food and it generally tastes good. I recommend the fried zucchini which is huge and fresh and always nuclear hot. Cons: - Unfortunately climbing prices are getting sort of ridiculous here. A grilled turkey sandwich with fried zucchini and a soda is now over $24. - It can be difficult to turn out of their parking lot due to freeway traffic exiting at Irwindale Ave. - Bathrooms are in disrepair and smell mildewy, whenever I visit. I like this place but I think I'll be visiting cheaper competitors for a while. read more

THE OWNER IS A SCAM ARTIST I came yesterday and ordered a 10 dollar breakfast plate -the pancakes and added an extra egg. The total came out to 12 dollars. I returned the next day, but noticed the owner (who drives a red Porsche) was there. I thought nothing of it until I was at the cashier. He was eyeballing me the entire time as I was trying to make the same order I made from the previous day, but was adding an additional order of toast. The cashier was super kind though, and was trying to substitute the pancakes for toast. The owner then got involved unprompted and told me the total was going to be TWENTY DOLLARS. I couldn't believe it. He continued eyeballing me and I just left. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. He doesn't care about his customers, he just wants to rip you off. read more

It's time. Time to change the rating back to 5 stars. Farmer Boys at the Irwindale location will forever be an option on my list to-go places to eat when I am hungry, don't know what I want, and just want something quick and relatively reliably yummy. It IS fast food, but premium-ly prepared and priced. Most recently, I came to redeem my birthday breakfast omelet. A whole breakfast completely FREE! There are many restaurant rewards programs out there these days, but Farmer Boys got one of the greatest ones in the market. And due to the points I've collected previously, I was also able to score a side of FREE French fries. Happiness overload. My partner and I also purchased another breakfast omelet and a milk shake out of pocket to round out our meals for the morning. Again, they are not cheap, but they are of very decent quality. So I feel both justified and satisfied in my spending. Everything tasted awesome. Both omelets were satisfactory, honestly did not wow us, but they did what they came to my tummy for. I was able to choose English biscuit as my toast option. Buttery, warm, it surely beat boring wheat toasts! (But honestly, their wheat toasts ain't half bad to start with!) The milk shake, however expensive, was very, very delightful. Best cookies and cream shake I've had in a while! Other places may offer half-assed, artificial tasting Oreo shakes; not here at Farmer Boys. This was creamy, sweet, and you can really taste the Oreo flavors. Recommended. Portions were hearty. I had some leftover for later at night the same day. And for whatever reasons, today, the staff was extra attentive and sweet. When my partner forgot his face mask, they were able to procure one for him promptly without hassle. One young lady volunteered some jelly for my toasts when I asked for ketchup and ranch--and I definitely needed jelly! They were on top of their game today! I just filled out a survey post-meal, and they emailed me a coupon for another side of free fries. Yay for more free food! How can I not give you back your 5 stars, my sweet, sweet FB? ...I've previously written review(s) for this business before, so if you have the time, why not take a look at what I've discussed in the past to gain an even fuller picture of this establishment?
