We moved from Cornelius NC to Denver NC just under 2 1/2 years ago and there is a Zaxby's less than a mile from my house. Because it is so close, no special reason to make a special trip there. My wife is not a fan of the cuisine and I normally visit when she flies up to Pittsburgh to visit with her daughter and granddaughters. (Note: She's flying up on Monday so Zaxby's may be an option next week. During my visits, I've had their Spicy Chicken Sandwich which was very good. This was ordered through their drive thru and while very slow, was on pare with their Statesville location. Last time I went a couple of weeks ago, I had the Great 8 Boneless Chicken Wings with Tongue Torch Sauce. Very good but next time I think I will get a Sauce that is a bit milder. Thank goodness for the Ranch Dressing. Crinkle Fries as a side and unsweetened Iced Tea. Very good but the Tongue Torch Sauce will light you up. I like hot sauces but this one is near my limit for heat. The other time I had one of their salads which was good. For the Great 8 and the Salad, I dined in and service was very good. The sandwich was during the height of Covid and everyone was using the Drive Thru. All in all, pretty good friendly service with good food although my wife has different tastes.
